Another day, another time to improve. You stretched your arms out and quickly went to the bathroom to get yourself ready for school. School, another day with your gals. As soon as you finished preparing yourself, you quickly went downstairs to greet your beloved parents and your brother.
"Good morning!"
"Good morning, sweetie" your mom greeted
"Good morning, my princess. Did you sleep well?" Your dad said
"Yep!" You replied
You sat down beside your brother and started eating. When you finished your breakfast, you quickly put your shoes on and bid your parents and brother goodbye. Your school was just a few blocks away from your house so you arrived early and was greeted by Izumi and Rizumu. Your two bestfriends and also your teammates.
"Good morning~" they both greeted
"Morning!" You greeted back and smiled
You started walking to our classroom silently until Rizumu broke the silence.
"So, I heard that we'll be having another practice tomorrow. A boys vs girls match" Rizumu said
"Yeah, I heard it too" Izumi replied
"Wait what?" You asked in confusion "I didn't know that. Where'd get you that kind of information, Zuzu?"
"Seriously? Zuzu? Stop giving me weird nicknames, (f/n). It's weird as hell." Rizumu said with a straight face
"Just answer my question" you playfully said while rolling your eyes
Izumi giggled "We overheard Coach's conversation when she was on the phone"
"Oh ok. I wonder when though like what time I mean" you said
"I think Coach will tell us after practice. Now c'mon it's almost time" Izumi said before running off
You and Rizumu just shrugged and started running to your classroom since the bell just rang. When you arrived, you directly went to your seat with love letters and just in time your teacher arrived, immediately starting the lesson.
'Another six hours of hell for me, yay.'

It was already time for you to head to the gym but you can't since you're assigned to clean up in short cleaning duties. On the other hand, everyone was already gathered in the gym without you. As soon as you finished your duty, you immediately sprinted your way towards the gym.
"Sorry I'm late" you smiled
"Why are you late, Missy?" Your coach asked raising a brow
"Cleaning duties, Coach" you answered
Your coach just sighed and nodded before telling you and your team to start practicing. After practice, you started to clean up like putting the balls back in the basket and etc. Your coach called you for a meeting before you dismissed for the day.
"So tommorow, we'll be having a practice match" your coach announced
"A boys vs girls match, am I right?" You asked
"Yes, how'd you know?" Your coach beamed
"Tweety Bird told me" you said looking at Rizumu
"I'm guessing Rizumu is the Tweety Bird" your coach exclaimed
"What time coach?" your libero asked
"The practice match will start at 9 so don't be late" your coach answered "no more questions? Ok you are dismissed"
You, Izumi and Rizumu exited the gym together when you heard Rizumu's stomach growling
"Hungry are we?" You asked
"Yeah...." Rizumu chuckles while scratching the back of her neck
"Wanna go get some buns?" Izumi offered
"Why the hell would you want to get some buns when you already have two?"
"YES PLEASE! And shut up, (f/n)!" Rizumu exclaimed
You immediately covered your ears due to Rizumu's loudness
"That hurts! How could you?" you said while dramatically holding your chest causing Rizumu to roll her eyes
"It wasn't funny so serves you right" Rizumu said proudly
"Yeah right" you scoffed
"Oh stop it you two. I know a place to get us some yummy buns" Izumi said
The three of you started walking in the Miyagi street where the store Izumi was talking about was located.
On your way to the store you were discussing what to do at tomorrow's practice match.
"So what's the plan for tomorrow?" Rizumu asked
"Same as usual. Stay calm and determine" you quoted
"What if they're strong? Should we still do the usual?" Izumi asked
"Doesn't mean that they're boys, they can defeat us that easily. Like c'mon girls, who rules the court?" You sheepishly smiled at them
"Girls!" They smiled
"That's what I'm talking about. Never doubt your skills because look at us now?" You said while giving them your Queenly smile
"Well, I guess your right (f/n)" Rizumu said
"We've come this far so why doubt ourselves now?" Izumi smiled
"Yes. We've come this far but that also doesn't mean we have to act all high and mighty" you exclaimed in a serious tone
"That sucks! I don't even care what's my status now. A famous person or not. I don't even care" Rizumu laughed
"Staying humble is always a good thing" Izumi quoted
"Yes. But that also doesn't mean that we're already strong, we should stop improving. We should always keep on improving so that whatever may be the challenge, we can beat it with no worries" you exclaimed
The two nodded and smiled at you and you smiled back
"So tomorrow....." Rizumu trailed off
"What about tomorrow? Again." Izumi asked while you are still listening
"Do you think we should give our best or just plain play?" Rizumu asked
Izumi looked at you while you started thinking about Rizumu's question
"I just answered that a while ago, geez. Well..... If they're really strong then we should give it our all. Don't wanna get scolded by coach. But for me, strong or not, we should always give it our all. What's the point of playing your favourite sport when you're just gonna give your all when the opponents are strong?" You answered
"Right. Sorry" Rizumu said
You chuckled "Since when did you apologize to me? Well this is new. Write that down, Izumi" you teased
"Great way to ruin my mood, (f/n)" Rizumu pouted
You scoffed at Rizumu's reaction
"You're welcome" you smiled at her
Izumi just playfully rolled her eyes. There was a long silence until Rizumu's stomach started to growl again making you laughed at this phenomenon.
"Are you really that hungry?" You laughed
"Leave me alone. Hmph!" Rizumu pouted while blushing
"Ok... If you say so~" you replied
"Ok, stop that. We're almost there" Izumi chuckled
"Yes! Finally!" Rizumu cheered
You and Izumi just chuckled at your friend's childish act though you can be more childish than her right now.
