"Hey who's house?" I asked as Sam and I walked out of the building. "Yours." He said quickly. "Ok, I have to wait for my sister." I said. "Ok I'll follow you to your house." He said and I nodded. I walked to my car and waited for my sister. "Took you long enough." I said as my sister got into the car. "Do you have somewhere to be?" She asked with attitude. "Yeah home, my friend is coming over to work on a project." "Who's this friend?" "Sam." "Oh yes, the boy from this morning." She said wiggling her eyebrows and laughing. "Shut up." I said laughing and rolled my eyes. We got to the house and Sam parked next to me. "Mom! We're home!" I said and she came out from the living room. "Hey girls. Who's this?" She asked when she saw Sam. "This is Sam. We have to work on a project" I said. "Hi nice to meet you Mrs.Michaels." He said and she smiled, "Sweetie you can call me Sarah." She said. "We are gonna go work on our project now, we'll be upstairs if you need me." I said and walked up the stairs with Sam following behind me.
We've been working on the project for an hour and a half, "Can we take a break?" Sam asked. "Yeah." I said and sat on my bed. "I want to get to know you better." He said and sat in front of me. "Ok go ahead." "When's your birthday?" He asked. "April 29th, when's yours?" "December 11th." "Do you have siblings?" I asked. "Yeah two sisters, Emily and Annie, and a brother, Ben." He said and I nodded. We continued asking each other questions until there was a knock on the door. "Dinners ready." My mom said. "Ok we'll be down in a second." I said and she walked out. "I'll start heading home." Sam said grabbing his things. "You should stay for dinner." "It's fine. I don't want to intrude." "Your not. Let's go" I said pulling him out of my room before he could say anything else. We walked down the stairs and sat down at the table. My dad walked out with the food followed by my mom and set it down on the table. "Lily?" My dad asks. "Right sorry. Dad this is Sam, Sam this is my dad" "Hello Mr. Michaels, pleasure to meet you" Sam says standing and shaking my dads hand. "Please, call me Stewart" he says and smiles. Sam sat back down and we ate. We walked back up to my room, "Wow Sam" "What?" He asks. "I didn't know you were such a kiss up" "Well, my girlfriends parents have to like me" he says and winks. I gave him a disgusted look, "Eww, your ugly" I say and push his face away, he rolled his eyes. "Whatever. I should get going" he says throwing his things into his backpack. "I'll walk you out" I say and he follows me out to the front. I closed the door after he walked out. "Well I'll see you tomorrow" "Thanks for today. I'm sorry again for your shirt" I say. "Don't worry about it. I'll see you tomorrow" he says and kisses my cheek. I felt my cheeks heat up and butterflies in my stomach going crazy. I looked down smiling, "Bye cutie" he says and walks off. I walked back inside and saw my sister sitting on the couch smirking at me. "Oh shut up" I say and walk upstairs. I changed into my pjs and fixed my room a bit putting everything where it belongs. I laid in bed watching tv and scrolling through social media. My phone buzzed and I got a text from an unfamiliar number. 'Hey cutie its Sam' 'You creep how'd you get my number?' 'I asked you for it' 'Right... woops' 'what're you going on this lovely night?' Sam and I texted until 3:30 until I knocked out.
I slept through three alarms until my sister barged into my room and woke me up. I showered and did my usual routine. I walked into the kitchen grabbing something to eat. "Since when do you try looking good for school?" my sister asks glaring at me. "Since I go to school with a bunch of hotties" "Is this about that Sam kid from yesterday? He seems like a sweet guy, how'd you meet?" "Lily spilled her coffee on him" Maddie quickly says. "Yeah..." I say and my mom looks at me shocked. "And then he showed me around school" I say and smile. "Speaking of school your going to be late. I'll see you guys later. Love you" she says and kisses us both. "Alright I'll see you later" "Bye" my sister says as we part ways walking into school. "Hi cutie" Sam says throwing his arm over my shoulder and kissing my cheek. "Hi Sammy" I say and poke his stomach. "Sammy. I like it" he says and smirks. "Lillayyy" Johnson says and pulls me into a hug. "Yo Gilinsky" "Sup" he says and does that weird handshake thing with Sam.
