Hi you guys! I missed y'all lol. Life has been AMAZIN'! 17 years of marriage and 18 years of bein' ta'getha is a long time fa me cuz I could neva be in a relationship longa than six months lol. I guess certain people are meant fa eachotha. And Aug and I are in dat category of certain people. Nun has changed. We're still happily married and childish as fuck! And freakier than eva! Body still on point! Abs fa days good Lord! But off dat subject cuz I will give details lol. When tha kids got olda we wanted a different life fa dem. Yea dey were born into a diffent life but dat don't mean shit. Thangs coulda went left. We didn't want'em ta follow in our foot steps. So as Aug said, he wanted ta take'em ta NOLA. And he did. And dey seen what we grew up around and dey basically were like 'yea not happenin'. So Lil Aug got into sports cuz Aug didn't want him ta be pulled into dat lifestyle. NeNe is on Drill Team, which I know she didn't mention, but chu know na. And Lani's only twelve, but she's into sum'n' too cuz I tol'em straight up I didn't want'em ta become a strippa. So she's into instruments. Aug taught ha how ta play guitar, piano, you name it...she plays it. So she's in band. Dis mornin' when Aug and I woke up, we do what we do and walk out tha room. We walk past Aug's room and I hear singin'. We look at each otha and I juss walk in lol
Me: "I didn't know you could sing!"
Lil Aug: "*laughs* You in shock?"
Me: "Yes! Why didn't you say anythang...?"
Lil Aug: "Ion know. Neva really thought bout it I guess..."
August: "I knew our genes would come in handy fa sum'n' otha than bein' ghetto as hell. Well...Lani's quiet. Which is weird cuz we so loud..."
Me: "*laughs* Juss ignore what yo daddy juss said, 'iight. But dat was really good! Lemme go cuz I will stand hea' all day sayin' dat ova and ova again"
August: "I'll be downstairs in a lil bit..."
I nod and walk out. As I'm goin' downstairs, I smell pasta and bread sticks. NeNe and Lani lol. So I jog downstairs. When I walk around tha corner, I hear NeNe and Lani! Why am I juss na findin' out bout dis talent?! I hear'em singin' my song Let Me Know dat I did wit future when she was lil. Lani wasn't born yet. But she catches on quick ta a song. Dey hittin' all these notes and what not. When tha song ended I cleared my throat and dey turned around
Nevaeh/Leilani: "Mornin' ma"
Me: "Mornin'. Question..."
Nevaeh/Leilani: "Wassup?"
Me: "Why didn't y'all tell me bout dis talent of yours. I knew you could dance but I didn't know any of y'all could sing..."
Nevaeh: "Aug can't dance. He sucks..."
Me: "*laughs* Good point..."
Leilani: "We juss neva brought it up..."
Me: "You juss wanted ta keep it ta yo'self?"
Nevaeh: "Pretty much..."
Me: "I undastand. I was tha same way. Kinda sorta. Only a few people knew. But all y'all sound good. But what I am worried bout is dis pasta and bread sticks..."
Dey laughed and made me a plate and handed it ta me wit orange juice. But chu know me. I gotta add my lil touch...
Me: "NeNe can you hand me my Vodka..."
She started laughin' and handed it ta me. I poured some in my glass and took a sip
Me: "Perfect!"
I handed it back and she put it in tha cabinet wit tha rest of tha alcohol and dey juss looked at me
Me: "What? Sum'n' on my face?"
Leilani: "*giggles* No. You sure you're 38?"
Nevaeh: "Right! You look really young. You have smooth skin, no grey hair. Nun. Daddy don't eitha"
Me: "I'm positive" I said laughin' "And thank you! We stay stress free..."
Leilani: "How?"
Me: "By doin' stress free thangs and havin' stress relievers"
Leilani: "Like what?"
Me: "Umm. Can't answer dat. But what I can say is dat I neva worry bout anythang cuz half tha time I neva give a fuck..."
We started laughin' but I was serious lol. And I'm glad dey have our talents. But we neva pressured dem into tha business. Dey can make dey own choices. Not ta er'thang but ta thangs like dis. If dey wanna get in tha business. Dats up dats dem. Not Aug and I. But it wouldn't hurt ta know what dey wanna do career wise...
August POV:
Well well well. I knew one of'em had a singin' talent. When we walked by his room MeMe's tha one dat heard it first. Then I heard it. Then she barged in lol. She was in shock while I was like 'I knew it was bound ta happen' hahaha. So when she walked out I juss looked at him. I made myself comfortable...
Me: "Dis is a serious question. You use dat as yo "weapon" don't chu?" I asked doin' air quotes
Lil Aug: "Ion know what chu talmbout, pops"
Me: "*laughs* Yea you do. I said tha same thang ta my mama..."
Lil Aug: "*laughs* 'Iight. Maybe I do..."
Me: "There's no maybe. *laughs* I already know how all dis works. Trust me. You got all tha hoes don't chu?"
Lil Aug: "Honestly...yea..."
Me: "All it takes is one word and you got'em *snaps* juss like dat..."
Lil Aug: "Pretty much"
Me: "I already know what chu do. As long as you got protection. I was dat way. And believe me when I say I had hooooes..."
He started laughin' and shook his head
Me: "I'm fa'real. Left and right. All I had ta do was talk to'em and dey let me hit it in one day. But chu know eventually you gonna get a girl right?"
Lil Aug: "Yea. But she ain't came 'round yet. And Ion trust these females. I want a girl ta like me fa me and not my name or juss ta see you and ma..."
Me: "I undastand. But she'll come around. She prolly closa than you think..."
Lil Aug: "Exactly, if you'ont mind me askin', how'd you meet ma?"
Me: "Ran into eachotha in tha hallway in high school..."
Lil Aug: "Dats dope..."
Me: "I know..."
Lil Aug: "*laughs* And y'all been ta'getha eva since?"
Me: "Pretty much..."
Lil Aug: "And you neva cheated?"
Me: "Yea. Twice. But both times were accidents but only one was cuz I let somebody else fuck wit my mind and shit..."
Lil Aug: "Clearly she fa'gave you..."
Me: "Yea afta two years! But I was OK wit it cuz I got ha back. So wheneva you do meet dat one, you'll know it..."
Then MeMe came ta tha doe and I smiled and she smiled back
Me: "Trust me. I know..."
I got up and kissed ha cheek and stood behind ha
Mariah: "Can you come downstairs right quick?"
He nodded and we went downstairs and I seen NeNe and Lani sittin' in stools. He sat down and I looked at MeMe
Me: "Beybe what chu doin'?"
Mariah: "I'm only doin' dis cuz I'm curious. Are eitha one of you intersted in tha music industry?"
Nevaeh: "Yea. But Ion want it ta interfere wit school..."
Lil Aug: "I am too. But I got football..."
Leilani: "I am too. But I'll wait til I get olda..."
Mariah: "Well if you want to, you can come wit eitha one of us ta get tha feel of it. And y'all can talk ta aunt Nae or his manager"
Nevaeh: "I like dat idea. But only on weekends"
Lil Aug: "I can do it when I don't have practice"
Leilani: "I'm wit NeNe. Only cuz Ion play football"

Leilani: "*laughs* I'm juss sayin'..."

Mariah: "Cuz I was juss curious. Ion wanna pressure anythang..."
Lil Aug/Nevaeh/Leilani: "We're positive"
Me: "Then it's settled. But juss so you know, when you do get tha hang of it...paparazzi gets annoyin'..."
Mariah: "You think dey annoyin' na. Wait fa it. It escalates!"
Dey started laughin' and I juss shook my head. MeMe hates paparazzi lol. But it's their choice. Dey choose tha career dey want. We can't do dat fa dem. All we can do is support.

So ta'day we bringin' our kids Def Jam. Dis should be fun lol

Yea James is back. He came back a few months afta MeMe and I renewed our vows a few years back. And I was glad he came back cuz afta all those managers, I realized I didn't need one ta be a female. I didn't need one flirtin' wit MeMe. And I damn sho' didn't need one from NOLA! So when he came back, he asked fa his job so he got it back
Lil Aug/Nevaeh/Leilani: "Nice ta meet y'all"
David/Donte/Dre/James/Raven: "You too"

Me: "I know right..."
James: "So what they wanna know?"
Mariah: "Basically what we do"
Janae: "In dat case. It's a lot. It looks easy but a lot of work is put into it..."

Leilani: "So when y'all come in late, dis is where y'all be at?"
Me: "Yup. But it pays off in tha long run..."
Mariah: "Dis is only day one..."
Me: "What chu bout ta find out ta'day will prolly have you thinkin' it's months worth. Wrong! So get comfortable..."
Dey think it's easy til dey get tha full undastandin' of it. And when dey do, dey are gonna appreciate what we do and undastand why I tell'em it's not bout tha lifestyle dey live in. It's bout how we got hea'
*That night*
Me: "Babe..."
Mariah: "Wassup?"

She looked at me and smirked
Mariah: "Yea..."

She laughed and grabbed my face and kissed me and I deepened it. Is it weird fa us ta be dis close lol. I'm juss wonderin'. Most people get tired of dey spouses but we're tha total opposite. And I'm glad cuz I love my midget. I wouldn't trade ha fa anythang
