Evan POV:
Zoe invited me in the house, greeting me with a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Hey mom, can Evan go upstairs?" Zoe asks, her mom closes the microwave and looks to us. "Sure, just leave your door open and tell Connor to come back downstairs!" She yells out while Zoe drags me with her, to her room. "Don't we have to tell Connor-"
She puts her arms around my neck, smiling. I forget what I was gonna say. "Don't even worry about it... it's just us"
"And only us..." we put our foreheads together and close our eyes.
After a few seconds, she sits me down on her bed and closes the door with a tiny crack. "Don't we have to leave the door open?" Zoe walks back to me, hand on my face, going to my head, messing with my hair. "You don't need to worry... my parents don't even care" I take her hand and kisses it. "Are you sure, baby?"
Zoe blushes after I said that. I unexpectedly pull her close, making her fall on my lap. I chuckle as she wraps both her arms around my neck. "I really want to kiss you" I smile. Zoe does her little, cute, smile while scruching her nose. "Then kiss me before I kiss you"
"B-but baby... I want to kiss you first"
"Then stop whining and kiss me" Zoe happily smiles and grins
I press my lips onto hers. After a few seconds, I manged to lay her down on the bed and crawl on top of her, without actually on her. We kept kissing like everything's okay. I trail my mouth down to her neck, I pulled away. "I-is it okay if I do that?" I ask, Zoe nods. So, I went back to kissing her neck. I hear small noises, which is probably coming from Zoe. I try to ignore it but I have a feeling she wants me to stop, so I do.
"I-im sorry... am I hurting you?"
"What? No... please keep going. I'll tell you when im hurting" she makes puppy eyes.
"I won't leave marks..." I say, before looking down and great. Just great. My bulge is bigger meaning a boner.
"Zo... I-I got a, uh..."
Zoe grabs my chin, making me look at her. She smiles and kisses my cheek. "I know... do you want to stop or keep going?" My put my head down, above her shoulder. Nodding, I kiss her collarbone once and pull myself up. "Y-your so beautiful... but, I really don't want intercourse or anything like that right now"
Zoe sits up, grabbing a pillow. I take her hand and just held it. "I-is there something you want to do?" The way she's holding the pillow is just so adorable and she knows it. "I just really want to cuddle, baby"
I put my back to the wall, Zoe comes crawling in my lap. I swing my arms around her body to make her feel safe. Just then, Connor opens the door. "Mom said keep the fucking door open" he said. Resting my chin on Zoe's shoulders, we both know he's probably high. Connor walks into the room and looks to me. "We gotta talk about the thing... before you saying anything, no, im not fucking high"
"I-I didn't think you were... can w-we talk about it later?" I ask.
"I hope you know that what I said about Jared is 100% true"
I face suddenly became flushed, Zoe turned around. "What is he talking about? Ev?" She asked, waiting for an answer. I wipe away a tear before anyone could see, and shook my head. I didn't think she would be so curious. "U-Um, will excuse me... i-it will only take a second" Zoe gets up, outta my lap so I can stand. I look at her one final time before going with Connor.
Connor leads me to his room, the smell does not surprise me. "Is this really important-"
"Yes. This is very important"
"O-oh..." I quietly said
Connor grabs the pack of cigarettes and walks over to his window, lighting it. I just stand by the door, wondering what's going to happen. He turns around, facing me. "I know why Jared is in love with you... I can tell by the way he looks at you" he says, looking directly at me. Probably into my soul, trying to kill me or something mysterious like that.
Now thinking what he said, does Connor look ar Jared? Connor probably likes Jared, that's how he knows. Connor's jealous or hurting because his crush is in love with me. Connor is always looking at Jared and Jared is always looking at me. I figured it out.
"Holy crap, you like Jared!"
"What? Hell no!"
"Well, since Jared apparently likes me, you have been looking at him, looking at me... you must be heartbroken, your crush in love with someone else" I say, putting my head down.
I hear Connor scoff and he's probably rolling his eyes. "I hate Kleinman, im looking at him for something else" I pull my head up, slightly turning to the side. "Wha-"
"Jared's in love with you, okay? Are we going to talk about that other thing or not?" Connor snaps.
I shrug, nodding. Oh, you mean that thing between us, me thinking that he was going to kiss me, but actually doesn't. Yeah, that. "Just be honest with me... were you wanting to kiss me earlier?" Connor suddenly pays attention, he throws his cigarette out the window and stands in front of me, towering me.
"S-sorry, I didn't mean too-"
Connor grabs my face and kisses me.
I ease into it, only a little. A few seconds later, I pull back. Looking at him, then taking steps backwards, exiting his room. I ran back to Zoe's room, she hugging her pillow. She looks up when I stumble back to her "oh my gosh, what happen Ev? Are you okay?" I shake my head 'no' as I get on the bed, putting my head in Zoe's lap, curled up in a ball.
Zoe strokes my hair with her hands, probably worried as hell. Then, outta nowhere, we hear the walls banging and screaming from Connor's room. I got even more frightened as Zoe gets more protective, i'd say. "Shh... its okay Ev, i'm right here..." she calmly says.
Connor walks past Zoe's room, taking a second to look at me then heading downstairs. "I'll be back" we hear him call out, before the door slammed. I closed my eyes, letting Zoe do whatever she's doing. To be honest, I don't know what she's doing... picking at my hair?
I move my position, shadowing over Zoe as she falls back. "Uh, I, uh... got a random one" I embarrassingly say. Zoe smiles and puts her hands on my face. "Hey, uh... no intercourse, im going to do the same thing from earlier"
"I don't care what you do as long as im with you"
She pulls me down, locking both our lips together. Im trying so hard to forget Connor and what he did, all I need is a distraction. I kiss her bottom lip, trailing down to her neck. She knows I won't leave matks. Again, she lets out these little noises, like the ones from earlier. I start lightly biting, not to hard. "Evan~"
I pull away, after she said that. Crap, did I hurt her? "Zoe, i-im sorry, did I hurt you?" I ask, she smiles, laughing. The tension right now is getting to me, I think. "No baby, not at all..."
"B-but you said my name, I thought I was hurting you"
"Well, Ev...." she starts while messing around with my hair "if I would be technical, then, I moaned out your name" she says, looking in my eyes.
I looked so embarrassed but confused at the same time. "Its meaning that I love you Evan Hansen" she smiles.
I love you Evan Hansen... my life is now complete.
I smile, slamming my lips onto her. Im sure she was surprised, from it being unexpected. She lets out more noises, whatever it is, I love it. Zoe grips her hands on the back of my head, making me kiss her harder. Im now getting a terrible thought that someone will see us like this and we would have to break up and-
I pull back from her. "I love you too" I say.
Flopping on the other side of the bed, Zoe turns to me. "Why'd you stop?" I look to her, pushing back hair behind her ear. "Because, I-I had a bad feeling that someone would see us like that and you know how I get..."
"Baby... I would never force you to do something you don't want to do"
"Expect from a few seconds ago" I say.
"What?" He giggles.
"Well, y-you put your hands on the back of my head and forced me to kiss you more" I say with a smirk.
She rolls her eyes and playfully hits me. I get off the bed, putting out my hand. She grabs it and I pull her up, off the bed. "Would you like to have an ice cream date with me?" I ask. Zoe's smile grew wider and hugs me. "Of course, I would love to mess you up with ice cream"
"Ha ha, very funny" I said as we are exiting the room and heading out to get some ice cream.
Today... uh, lets not talk about it.
