The next day. Monse hung over at my house.
"you ready for school" Monse asks. "nope" I sigh digging my head into the pillow.
We decided to give ourselves a little spa day before school started.
"you girls hungry" Dad asks while peeking his head in the room.
"aaaaah" Monse screams and my dad gives her a weird look.
I look at her phone and begin screaming too.
My dad looks at her phone and joins in on the screaming.
"Very funny dad" I smile laughing at his fake scream.
"Pizza? " Dad smiles and we both knod.
"pizza coming up" He smiles heading out my room.
"I can't believe he texted me" Monse whispers.
Yesterday she left her number on a napkin for Ryan.
"Myan or Ronse aaaaah I can already think of ship names" I giggle pulling her into a hug.
My phone receives a notification.
It was a text from Cesar. I felt guilty knowing Cesar had a huge crush on Monse and here I was trying to her a date with another guy.
A guy that Cesar dislikes. But only cause Monse likes him.
I begin reading the Cesar's messages and look at my phone confused.
"Hii Princess" the text read.
Princess?
Wait only Dad calls me that. Why on earth would Cesar call me that?
Minutes later I recieved a voice note.
As soon as I played it I had regretted it instantly.
The voicenote was Oscar fucking Diaz burping.
Cesar wouldn't call me princess but his dumb older brother would. I swear he has it out for me.

I leave them on read and hide my phone under the pillow.
Monse notices and gets curious.
"Oooh who u got there" Monse asks smiling.
"A rat" I joke shoving my phone further away from me.
I didn't want to deal with Oscar and Cesar but I know Monse would not stop asking.
"Naa I'm kidding it's just erm Cesar" I stutter not wanting to tell her the weird shit that's going on with Oscar.
Her smile drops and she looks concerned.
"Is cesar okay" she asks and I nod.
Even though Monse never showed her feelings towards Cesar she cared for him the most and she doesn't even know it.
I give her a squeeze on her shoulder reassuring her.
"Enough about this and more about you and Ryan. When's the date" I squeal.
"tomorrow" Monse squeals clutching her phone.
"Aaaaah" We both squeal jumping on the sofa.
"We have to go shopping " Monse squeals.
I nod in agreement.
It was nice seeing Monse this happy.
We were always with the guys and it was nice to have some girl time to ourselves.
"Guess who made pizza" My dad screams as he runs into the living room.
He places the plates on the table and begins to sit down. Monse smiles at him weirdly.
"What" He whispers.
"Gustavo if you wanna hang out with us you have to put a face mask on" Monse laughs.
It took a few minutes persuasion but he had finally agreed and now we were sat around the TV with face masks on while eating.
We spent out time watching Ratatouille.
The door bell rang interrupting us.
"Eugh who knocks at this time" Dad sighs looking at his watch.
"hang on I'll get it" I smile getting myself of the couch.
It's 9pm who on earth would be here.
I reach for the lock but I stop.
Wait what if its Oscar?
Wait why would it be Oscar?
"eugh" I sigh looking through the peep hole to see no-one there.
"weird. What if they're really short or something?" I laugh to myself reaching for the door handle.
I open the door and walk onto the patio.
"Hello" I shout but no replies.
There was no one there so I headed back inside.
"who was it" Dad asks.
"it was no one" I smile sitting back on the couch.
He nods and makes sure. We head back to the couch.
"I think it's getting late. I've got work tomorrow. Night girls." Dad sighs kissing my head.
He takes the empty plates and glasses to the kitchen and heads upstairs.
As he heads for bed Monse turns around to face me with a creepy smile on her face.
"You know what we should do" Monse asks.
"what" I whisper rubbing my eyes.
I was tired and wanted to head for bed.
"We should pull an all nighter" She squeals.
How does this girl have this much energy?
"erm sure" I whisper not realising what I was getting myself into.
After an hour or so the plan on staying up all night failed miserably.
We couldn't stop yawning and would make eachother yawn.
"I think this was a bad idea" Monse laughs trying not to yawn again.
"Yeah I think it was" I smile rubbing my eyes.
"You you knowww you should go out with Cesar " Monse slurs as she tries to keep her eyes wide open.
"What" I question looking at her weirdly.

Yes we've been friends since we were little but I see him as a brother and us dating would be weird as fuck.
"you guys would be cute together. I see the way you guys look at eachother" She giggles hugging a pillow.

"alsar or calma? I can already think of ship names" Monse laughs causing me to roll my eyes.
She did not.
I was too tired to argue so I replied with no and drifted to sleep.
After a few minutes of sleeping. Monse begins whispering my name.
"Alma" Monse whisper nudging me.
"What" I groan opening my eyes.
"There's someone at the door" she whispers.
The knocking grew louder.
"huh" I groan getting off the sofa.
I grab a baseball bat out of the store room.

I walk towards the door and look through a peep hole.
Obviously no one was there.
"Monse it's probably just some stupid kids in the neighbourhood" I sigh walking back to the living room.
"Monse" I call.
She wasn't there.
"Boo" A voice laughs grabbing me by the shoulder.
I swing my bat and miss.
"Alma you nearly killed me" Monse screams.
"and you nearly killed me" I laugh playfully punching her in the shoulder.
