Bill went to school and hung out with Eddie and Bev as usual.
"So what do you guys wanna do after practice today?" Bev asked.
"I promised Georgie I'd take him for ice cream and we'd stay up watching movies." Bill said.
"That's really cool Bill. What's the occasion?" Eddie asked.
"Oh Georgie was getting bullied so I'm taking him out to make him feel better." Bill said.
"Aw poor Georgie. Well I hope you two have fun tonight." Bev said and with that the bell rang making every student shuffle to class.
At band practice Stan was late again. Cameron also insisted on sitting in on the practice making everyone except Stan annoyed. Yes, Cameron is also Richie's friend but they were never that close.
After practice Cameron dragged Stan out of there as quickly as possible.
They headed to the diner, they sat in a normal booth. There weren't many people at the diner today.
"Hello boys, what would you like to drink?" The waitress asked.
"One milkshake, two straws." Cameron said without even letting Stan speak.
"Why'd you order that?" Stan asked.
"Because, can't you see it's obvious?" Cameron asked and sat next to Stan on his side of the booth.
"What's obvious?" Stan blushed.
"I like you Stan." Cameron kissed Stan on the lips and Stan was surprised for a second but he kissed back.
Little did Stan know that at that very moment Bill was walking by with his little brother.
Bill saw the two kissing and it just about ripped his heart out. He wanted to curl up in a ball and cry for decades but he couldn't. Not right now at least.
"Come on Georgie." Bill pulled his little brother across the street and into the ice cream shop.
"What do you want?" Bill asked looking at the menu and surprisingly holding it together.
"A chocolate cone." Georgie said with a bright smile that made Bill smile.
"Okay." Bill went up to the counter and ordered two chocolate cones.
The two brothers got their ice cream and went to the park nearby.
"Thank you Billy!" Georgie exclaimed.
"You're welcome buddy." Bill smiled.
They finished their ice cream and just hung out at the park for a bit.
Bill watched Georgie play on the playground and when Georgie was doing tricks on the monkey bars Bill got some videos to show their mom later.
"Alright Georgie are you ready to go home?" Bill asked since it was getting dark.
"Let's go." George said.
They got into Bill's car and started driving.
"So what movies do you want to watch?" Bill asked.
"Can we watch both Guardians of the Galaxy movies?" Georgie asked hopefully.
"Yeah of course buddy." Bill said.
Suddenly there was a loud bang. Georgie screamed and the car flipped. Bill looked over to the passengers seat to see his little brother unconscious.
He also saw a large truck that had crashed into his car. There were many cars stopping next to Bill's and the black truck.
"Someone call 911!" Bill heard someone yell.
What seemed like hours later an ambulance came along with a couple police cars.
Paramedics helped get Bill and Georgie out of the car.
Bill didn't need to go to the hospital he only had a couple cuts and bruises. Georgie however needed intensive care. He was taken to the hospital and was immediately put into surgery. Apparently when the truck hit Georgie hit his head along with getting a piece of shrapnel into his side.
Bill was in the waiting room freaking out.

Eddie: I'll be there right away.

Bev: of course Bill see you soon

Stan

Bill: can you meet me at the hospital Georgie and I got into an accident

Eddie and Bev showed up right away like they said.
"Oh my gosh Bill, how are you holding up?" Beverly asked worried.
"N-no I—we were in the car and—I-I wasn't paying attention I guess a-and—" Bill was cut off by his own tears. Bev and Eddie pulled him into a tight hug.
"Shouldn't Stan be here?" Eddie asked knowing that Bill and Stan likes each other.
"H-he never answered the ph-phone." Bill sobbed.
"I-I saw him w-with Cameron and they were—they were together."
"Oh Bill I'm so sorry." Bev said, also knowing about Bill's crush.
"Come on Bill maybe you should go home, get some sleep?" Bev suggested.
"I-I can't go home. It'll remind me of him too much." Bill said now talking about Georgie.
"Do you want to come to my house?" Eddie asked.
"What about your mom?" Bill asked.
"She'll be cool with it. She loves you and once she finds out about your brother she'll understand." Eddie said and Bill nodded.
Beverly drove them to Eddie's house since Eddie doesn't have a car yet.
*at Eddie's house*
"I can't believe Stan screwed you over like that." Eddie scoffed.
"Yeah I can't believe it either." Bill said staring up at the ceiling.
After a couple hours of talking Eddie fell asleep.
Bill couldn't even think about sleep. His mind was wrapped around so many things, Georgie, Stan, what his mom is going to think when she finds out about Georgie and the list continues.
Even though Stan hurt Bill so bad, all Bill wanted was to be with Stan right now.
