The cadets reached training centre & started to learn everything with great passion & dedication. Their friendship grew stronger by each passing days even Akriti & Purvi developed a great understanding with each other. The faculties also briefed on various issues, new rules & regulations. They too started getting friendly with each other.
Like this how time flew away, no one realised.
After some weeks...
In Major Sharma's office, both the captains & major were looking tensed & confused as well & were discussing something very seriously.
Abhi- Beg your pardon Ma'am!
Major- Aapne bilkul sahi suna Capt! Hume training rokna hoga.
Abhi- Par aise acchanak.. Bich me training kyu rok rahe hai?
Gunny- Exactly! Suddenly aisa kya hua ki senior authorities ne ye decission liye... Aakhir wo log chahte kya hai?
Major Sharma who was herself very much disturbed, lose her cool due to their constant queries.
Major (angrily)- Even I don't know anything else Capt! Mujhe jo information mila, maine aapko bata diya. Crystal?
Both of them nodded positively.
Abhi- par ma'am hum cadets se kya kahenge?
Major (sighed)- Yahi toh main problem hai Capt! Cadets ko kaise bataye & most importantly unse ye kahega kaun?
On this both the captains looked each other's face then towards Major Vaibhavi who was scaring them with her glare.
Both understood her unsaid words but still pretended to be unaware. Finally she spoke
MV- Capt Randhawa! Cadets ko aap inform karenge...
Abhimanyu sighed in relief but his happiness short lived as her next line dropped a bomb on him.
MV- Aur Capt Chauhan aap unhe samjhayenge aur dhyaan rakhenge ki wo koi scene na create kare. Is that understood?
Both nodded obediently & she leaves from there, leaving both the captains helpless.
Both the captains were going towards the ground where the cadets as usually chattering/arguing on random topics.
Abhi- (worriedly) Kya lagta hai Capt, cadets kaise react karenge?
Gunny (smirking)- wo sochna aap ka kaam hai mujhe toh bas unhe inform karna hai. Baki aap janiye inhe kaise handle karna hai?
Abhi looked at him with amusement & said sarcastically
Abhi- Waah! Capt kitni aasani se aapne keh diya inhe handle karne ke liye, jaise aapko toh pata hi nahi ki kaise-kaise namune hai? Waise bhi jo baat humari hi samjh me nahi aa rahi hai, wo (pointing towards the cadets) inhe kaise samjhaye?
Gunny (in sweet voice)- Isliye toh major ne iss kaam ke liye aapko chuna hai. Aap toh acche-accho ko samjha sakte hai, phir ye toh humare hi cadets hai.
Abhi (muttered to himself)- yahi toh problem hai ki ye humare hi cadets hai. Kaise samjhayenge inhe ye toh ulta hume hi samjha denge wo bhi acche se...
Gunny- (asked while hiding his smile) kuch kaha aapne?
Abhi- humne? Nahi toh! (smiling sheepishly) hum kaha kuch kehte hai Capt.. Aapke kaan baj rahe hai!
Gunny smirked.
Good morning sir!
The cadets wished them.
Both the captains were so much engrossed in their conversation that they didn't realise when they reached there.
Abhi- Good morning! At ease...
Gunny whispered in his ear- "what so good about this morning?"
Abhi nodded his head in disbelief & said slowly.
Abhi- Baat toh aapki sahi hai. Par aap hume kya dekh rahe hai, jo kaam karne aaye hai wo kariye.
He pointed towards the cadets who were staring them as if they're aliens.
Rummy asked- Sir humari aaj ki training kya hogi?
Gunny (coughed a little to clear his throat & said)- cadets aaj koi training nahi hogi... we are here to inform you that....
& he abruptly stopped.
Abhi- (tensely) kya kar rahe hai captain? kyu suspense me daal rahe hai inhe, jitna jaldi ho sake inhe bata dijiye. Uske baad jo hoga wo dekha jayega...
Gunny nodded & again tried to say- hume.. aapsab ko... ye inform.. (he took a deep breath) (cadets become more keen & Abhimanyu tightly closed his eyes) Inform karna tha ki higher authorities ne training rokne ke orders diye hai aur baki ke details baad me bataye jayenge.
He said in one go & became breathless. But seeing the cadets' faces, he got alert & put hands on his ears.
All cadets (shouted together in corus)- "WHAT?"
Abhi lost his balance due to the sudden outburst & before he could stable himself, cadets started shooting their questions.
Rummy- kyu sir? Training kyu rokna hoga?
Peter- wo bhi aise... what do you call it? Acchanak se.
Purvi- akhir reason kya hai training rokne ki?
Mallah- sir! Humse koi galti hui hai kya?
Abhi tried to say something but then Akriti who was boiling with anger, blasted on them.
Akriti- ye higher authorities humare training session ko censor karne ka shot kaha se le aai? Scene kya hai... Akhir puri script koi hume batayega ya nahi?
Purvi- ha sir kuch toh boliye.
"Aap log kuch bolne ka mauka denge tab toh koi kuch bolega." They heard a familiar voice & turned in the voice's direction & saw
Dr. Shalini standing there with some documents in her hands. Both the captains were relieved now as they knew that now she would handle the cadets efficiently. She comes near to them with her as usual smiling face & exclaimed excitedly
Shalini- Guys! I've a good & a bad news for you. Aap pehle kya suna pasand karenge?
Akriti- (disinterestedly) jo bhi aapka mann kare suna dijiye. Ek kaam kariye bad news hi pehle suna dijiye. Abhi- abhi humare pack up ke orders aaye hai, aur kuch reh gaya hai toh bata dijiye.
Dr. Shalini rolled her eyes & said- Okay! Toh bad news ye hai ki special task force ko dissolve kar diya gaya hai isliye aap sab ki training baand kar di gayi hai.
The cadets' faces fall on this & Gunny asked about the good one.
Shalini- Good news ye hai ki aap phir se KMA ka hissa ban sakte hai & aapni trainning complete kar sakte hai.
The cadets as well as the captains get pleasantly surprised.
Shalini continued- aap sab jaldi se packing kar lijiye. Mujhe ye papers yaha ki authorities ko hand over karne hai, uske baad hume KMA ke liye nikalna hai.
Maine major ko already inform kar diya hai & captains aap dono ko exact 18:00 hours pe meeting me report karna hai.
Cadets get delighted & beamed in joy. Both the captains also become happy.
Gunny- Waise Dr. Aapko koi idea hai ki ye sab kyu aur kaise hua?
Shalini- No, not at all Capt! Par hopefully aapke sare sawalo ke jawab aaj sham ko meeting me mil jayege. So hurry up!
