Chapter 15
Two months had passed and nothing, absolutely nothing from Alexandria, I couldn't even find her because of the cloaking spell she used but I was getting closer and closer to breaking it everyday. I should be happy that she had all but disappeared but I know that the witch bitch is crazy and she's probably planning something big. I just had to brace for impact.
"You need to stop overthinking about Alexandria"
Luke said as he rested his head in the crook of my neck.
"I know i should but i know her and i know that she
is planning something huge and i dont think im
ready."
"Ems none of us are ready , nor will we be we just
have to be as prepared as we can and you've had us
all training everyday and im sure you've memorized
every spell in existence and you've created a few of
your own."
I couldnt deny that "But..."
"But nothing, look at Blair she is like a vampire five
times her age alone with alexandrias blood inside of her and now at the rate you've had her training."
"Speaking of training, i have a session with her
before breakfast, no lazying around in bed today"
Luke pouted looking like the most adorable thing
ever.
"That isn't going to work Luke we have stuff to do today"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes.." my breath caught in my throat as he ripped
the sheets from around himself trying to look
innocent and that immediately broke my resolve.
"Well a few more minutes wouldnt hurt" he grinned as i jumped back into bed with him.

I walked into the training room to see Blair sitting on the floor
"Hey B"
"Dont 'Hey B' me"
"What did i do?" i feigned innocence
"You kept me here waiting so you could have fun
under the sheets with your insanely gorgeous
boyfriend."
I'm sure i was blushing all shades of red
"Well.."
"I mean now i understood why you blocked me out of your head but im sure the whole place heard you guys"
"That isnt true, plus i'm pretty sure that will be you and Lucian soon"
Now it was her turn to start blushing, slowly but surely Blair has started to adjust to her new life and is working day in day out to control her bloodlust so that she can go back and see her family and
compel them so that when she leaves for good its as painless as possible. That still hasnt stopped me from noticing the growing relationship between her and Lucian
"I have no idea what you're talking about ems"
"You dont? Because i see those lingering looks across the dinner table, secret whispered conversations in the halls, i'm on to you guys" i laughed pushing her shoulder
"We're just getting to know each other is all, lets get started"
I tried to stand but was immediately knocked back down by a dizzy spell
"Ems are you okay?" Blair rushed to my side concern plastered on her face
"I'm fine B, i just need to go do something" slowly my head became lighter and lighter and i knew i was being summoned to the witches sacred ground.
"Where are you going ?" Blair looked at me confused and worried
" I'm needed in the Land of the dead"
The closer i got to them the stronger i began to feel, i finally stood on their ground and the pain took over forcing me to the ground
"Stop please" i felt the blood dripping from my nose
"Please holy mother stop this"
Slowly fog began to cover the entire area and when it lifted she was seated at the root of the same tree
"You called me here, is the pain really neccessary?"
She laughed a musical laugh "I'm sorry my dear but it is a neccessary evil to remind you that we are your elders and to test you and see if you would try to retaliate, the other witches arent convinced that your a fully pure"
I smiled at this "but you are?"
"I believe that there is a little evil in us all and in the right situations it will make itself present but i do believe that you are pure and that you only have everyones best interests at heart which is why i summoned you here today"
"I'm glad that you believe in me but what does that have to do with today?"
"It's Alexandria she has something big planned something very unexpected and its going to shock the whole family, i cant tell you what it is as that would mess with balance of time but i need you to prepare to be the one who has to control the situation and by any means necessary control that family because old emotions will be over run and if not handled properly could be used to all of your demise, take my warning and be careful"
"How soon is this happening mother?"
I watched as she got a dazed look in her eyes "My dear, it has already begun"
Slowly the fog surrounded us and then it disappeared and i was alone, i felt the chaos and distress before i heard it, I took off running for the main hall telling anyone i saw loitering around to run for cover and to stay with their families. No matter how prepared we all were i dont think we could ever be prepared for what i walked into, it looked like a war zone. Alexandria was there with witches and vampires and in the mix fighting them off was the whole royal family , the royal guard, Blair, my mom and micheal. As much as i wanted to continue this fight and join in none of us were ready for this ambush and i had to put a stop to it
"Incendia" i put a barrier of flames separating the two groups to by me some time, i walked and stood in between everyone and slowly let the flames die down to see Alexandria emerge.
"I was wondering when you were going to show up puppet" She used her index finger and stroked down the side of my face, i saw right through her facade the spell i cast on her was weakening her more and more by the minute she looked tired, older and drawn out.
"You look as if you've aged a thousand years Alexandria and its only been what a few months" i ran my index finger down the side of her face mimicking her ealier actions.
"Dont get too cocky puppet i have an advantage over you"
"You wish you did alexandria, my spell will continue to weaken you and when the time is right i will kill you so you can stop with these childish visits because all they serve to do is aggravate me and kill off the few people dumb enough to stand at your side"
At this one of her vampires tired to lunge at me, i didnt even look in her direction before i raised my hands to thrust her into the air in a chokehold snapping her neck throwing her now lifeless body across the room.
"See, pointless , i suggest you leave before things really get ugly"
She grinned and i've seen that grin she did have something up her sleeve and me trying to distract her wasnt helping me to figure it out. It was as if Blair read my thoughts, there is someone else here waiting for her to bring them out. i can barely make her out she is trying really hard to close her mind off.
"If i remember correctly once you would never have to try to do anything but the weaker you get.." she wrappped her hand around my neck, i saw from the corner of my eye Luke and Blair about to rush to my aid i raised one hand to stop them. Getting angry too quickly was always her problem
"You know Alexandria it is going to be your emotions that lead to your demise"
"Shut up you ungrateful little wench, i created you as a safe guard for myself and you betray me for them, just wait once you've killed me they are going to kill you, don't you see we are not supposed to be a lie both of us are living abominations and once they've used you they will dispose of you i can promise you that"
"Lies, you are just a sadistic , patheic , rejected little witch, you will never be accepted and you cant stand the fact that Emiliana looks just like you is younger than you and is not as evil as you are is accepted and worshipped by everyone at court something you could never understand since my father and your own father rejected you" Luke was livid his brother had him in a stronghold to prevent him from lunging at Alexandria, he didnt look like himself.
"Who is she, your eyes keep darting back and forth to the door" I asked Alexandria
she laughed "i forgot about this ones gift" she looked over to Blair and waved "Hello dalring we really should catch up sometime last time was so much fun"
I rolled my eyes and ripped her arm from the vice grip it had around my neck "Enough with the games Alexandria what is your purpose here"
"You're no fun but fine, i wanted you to meet my sister"
I'm sure everyone's face mimicked mine with the dumbfounded look i was wearing.
"So you're resorting to mind games now? Its pathetic and frankly wasting my time, just leave with your life"
she threw her head back in laughter "Oh? you're granting me the permission to leave with my life? thank you mistress" she mocked bowed in front of me
"However, i am being seriously little mystical twin, i really do have a sister my mothers daughter our parents really don't care for keeping us around. we could have been united eh? but lets not cry over split milk, she sought me out when i brought that one into this world" she pointed a finger at Blair grinning
"What does this have to do with Blair?"
"My little sister cant fathom why they give Blair a chance but reject her"
and the bomb dropped, i knew i put the pieces together before everyone else in the room and i watched as Blairs face went white with shock as soon as Alexandria let her enter her mind, she gripped Lucians shirt to tell him but it was no use
"Am i late to the party?" she was short and petite but held and air of sophistication the evil glint in her eyes couldnt be missed, she was clearly choosen by the darkness and it looked as if she didnt want to refuse it
I looked from Luke to Katerina to his parents faces all red with anger and finally Lucians who looked out of his mind with rage.
"Long time no see lover"
I found myself stepping infront of her "Don't you go near him"
she looked at me fascinated "You were right sister you are prettier, she has a bigger body though could use a couple hours in a sauna"
"tsk tsk, come Alessandra dont tease"
"Its fine i really dont mind, i mean i do have a mate who loves me and i'll be with him forever i didnt have to try a kill him to get immortality" I spat at her.
she lunged at me but i was quicker
"kneel" i watched as she forcibly sank to her knees before me
"incendia" i created a barrier around alexandria and her minions. I stooped down to her level and whispered in her ear aware that he could hear me

"No stop it we will leave" Alexandria pleaded for her sisters life i raised my left hand to silence her and turned back to the task at hand
"Stop" I looked up to see that it was Lucian who commanded me to stop but i when i looked at him and saw the pain in his eyes i immediately stopped and by the look on Blairs face she knew that he couldnt watch her die. I withdrew all spells and stood down not before turning to Alexandra
"Leave now with your lives while i still let you keep them, the next time we meet will be on my terms and you wont be so lucky" i looked down on Alessandra who was bleeding and looked livid but she dare not do anything as she knew she wasnt a match for me
"Get out"
They all fled for their lives quickly i turned around to see Lucian staring at her retreating figure in pain and confusion before turning around and stalking off
"Lucian wait" his mother tried to comfort him
"I would rather be alone right now" and with that he was gone
I turned to Katerina and Blair and they both looked like they were keeping something from me, I looked around and noticed that Luke was no where to be found
"Where is he" everyone around me was silent, i tried to reach out to through my mind but he was doing a pretty good job of blocking me out
"He doesnt want you to know yet. he left when you were distracted with Alexandria"
"This isnt a surprise, i can tell something is wrong what is it"
No one spoke i looked at Blair for answers and she caved
"He wanted to try and fix it before you found out"
"Fix what"
"A spell"
"What kind of spell Blair stop beating around the bush" i was getting beyond ticked off now
"A death inducing spell"
"That wont work on him right Adriana" i looked around now only realizing the distressed looks on everyones faces
"It wont kill him no because he is and original but it will put him in a very long slumber that will take even a witch as powerful as you hours to break and with him not able to defend himself someone could easily kill him"
I felt my heart shattering into a million pieces, she wouldnt win this way i couldnt let her win this way.
"This is what she wants, she wants to throw me off my game by hurting him. I want guards posted outside his door at all times, take me to him now, Its time i get rid of this bitch once and for all."
