i remembered who's face i woke up to.
"i-i..." i couldn't even speak but i heard a sharp intake of breathing.
and in a second, you spoke, fully awake as it seemed.
even though i'd expected you to hang up.
"what happened? are-are you okay?" you asked your voice becoming softer and comforting.
