Jaysean's POV
"Man this is some bullshit" I groaned taking another hit from my blunt. I needed something to take the edge off or else I was going to go crazy.
"You okay man?" he asked.
"Nah. You know you open your heart to someone and they just stomp that shit into the ground" I muttered staring up at the sky.
"I know what you mean. I had this fly little thing. She was a real one up until the day she switched up on me. Found out she let them dig her ass up and move across town. Didn't even let me know" the oak tree sighed.
"That's cold man" I hummed taking another hit of the blunt.
I was at a park across from my house. It was early in the morning and I had just gotten off from work so, I decided to come over here and smoke. There wasn't any police so, I was good.
"Tell me about it. It's hard out here. I'm just trying to find me a bad one that isn't infested with birds or squirrels but, you know slim pickings" he said.
"I thought I had found the one but, then he had to go and fuck shit up. Like I wasn't asking for too much. How come when a nigga expects more out of a relationship we called bitches or clingy? But, if it's a woman, ain't nothing wrong? I'm telling you the shit ain't right" I explained.
"Man, Jay that's just how it is out here. I mean at least you don't have dogs pissing on you all day and people trying to chop your ass down just so, they could have a damn table. Life is hard" the oak tree muttered.
"I guess. Aight, I'ma head out" I whispered getting up.
I took another hit and headed back to my apartment. Stepping inside, I took off my shoes and closed the door. I've never really felt alone. I was that person that always people around, whether it be niggas I hung out with or bitches I was fucking. Then I got with Leo and he took up most of my time. We were always talking, even when during those 5 months he was Texas.
Now, I felt alone and as I looked at some of his stuff that was still here it got worse. After yesterday he hasn't made an effort to contact me. It pissed me off. The fact that he could act like this shit wasn't bothering him while I'm overhearing stressed out like a damn nigga with the police behind him.
It made me feel some type of way. Like maybe he didn't say it back because he didn't mean it. Cause if you cared, you would try and fix it. I mean 7 months together really ain't nothing to him?
"Fuck this" I muttered getting up. I had to get out and clear my head.
I was too damn high for all this deep thinking. Leaving my apartment, I got in my car and just started driving. I didn't know where I was going and when I finally stopped, I was in front of Leo's place. Parking, I got out and leaned against my car.
Being that I was higher than Snoop Dogg on a daily fucking basis, I should have taken my ass home. Nothing good would come out of me going up there. All I would do was make a damn fool of myself again especially since I was the one to cut him off.
"Fuck it" I hissed before heading up.
I had some good ass shit clouding my head at the moment. Or at least that is what I was gonna blame it on later. When I reached where was he was staying I knocked on the door. I had a good 10 minutes to turn my black ass around and just stop myself from going too far.
"You got this. What the fuck am I supposed to say? Oh, I talked to a tree and he really had me thinking" I murmured to myself as I tried to play out how this conversation was going to go in my head. Before I could make the right choice the door opened.
"What are you doing here?" Leslie asked.
"We both know it ain't to see your ass" I scoffed.
"Leo isn't home yet" she replied.
"Aight" I hummed before going to turn around.
"You can come in and wait for him. He's on his way" she spoke smiling. I glanced back and nodded before heading inside.

So, I decided to give y'all a little chapter with Jaysean being high. Y'all seem to like when he be talking to trees. What do you think of him being alone with Leslie? Is she gonna try something? Next, Leo and therapy. Plus he comes home a little earlier than expected.
