A few days passed. Arnav had given his lawyer Mr. Roy all the instructions regarding the agreement. After five days Mr. Roy called Arnav and said: Mr. Raizada saarey papers ban gaye hai ...aap kal subah Mrs. Raizada aur Ms. Kashyap ke sath aa jaiyega (Mr. Raizada the papers are ready...you come in the morning with Mrs. Raizada and Ms. Kashyap)
Arnav : thanks Mr. Roy, we will be there.
Arnav called khushi after talking to Mr. Roy. Khushi was sleeping at that time. She picked up the phone and said ina sleepy way: hello...
Arnav recognised that voice pretty well. To wake her up he yelled: what the...ab tak so rahi ho tum? (what the..you are still asleep?)
Khushi still with her eyes closed said: kya arnavji...aap hamarey sapne mein bhi aakey humey daant tey hai...(what arnavji...you scold me even in my dreams)
Arnav: whaat?? He said gritting his teeth: khushi maine tumharey sapne mein nehi..sach mein phone kiya hai...he yelled (whaat?? Khushi I have not called you in your dreams but in reality)
What do I do with this girl- he thought
Khushi woke up with a jerk and looked at the phone and said: yeh to sach mein laad governor hai...devi maaiya raksha karna..(oh this is really him...god help me)
She then said: he...hello...aa.aap... She bit her nails (hello..yo..you)
Arnav:haan..main... ab agar tum sapno ke duniya se bahar aa chuki ho to kuch reality discuss kar le? (yes..me..if you have come out of your dream world can we discuss some reality)
Khushi muttered: laad governor!
Arnav: finally.!! Ab suno..Mr. Roy ka phone aaya tha..saarey papers ban gaye hai..kal subah humey sign karne hai...kal subah thik dus baje tum Mr. Roy ke office pohoch jana.. (finally!! Khushi: shart! Ab kaunsi shart!! hey devi maaiya...yeh laad governor ko shart aur saude ke ilava koi aur bhasha samajh mein nehi aati kya?(condition? Now what?? Oh god doesn't he understand anything besides terms and conditions)
Arnav chuckled and said: shart yeh hai ki mujhe shantivan mein wapas jaakey jaldi hi koi aisa chahiye jo mujhe papa kahey ke bulaye...(the condition is that after we go back to shantivan I need someone very soon who will call me dad)
Khushi blushed deeply and her mouth was wide open as she didn't expect arnav to say this. She said nervously: arnavji..aap..(arnavji..you)
Arnav smiled and said: deal?
Khushi: haan...matlab ki..woh..matlab...(yes...I mean...actually..)
Arnav said: haan yaa na?(yes or no)
Khushi: haan arnavji..hum...(yes..arnavji i..)
Arnav smiled and said: okay...so see you at shantivan soon..khushi kumari gupta singh raizada..
And he disconnected the call. khushi was in trance after the conversation...she and arnav were together for a long time now but this would be a new thing in their life...she had a huge smile on her face imagining she and arnav and their baby...
She looked at the phone and complained making a baby face: laad governor kahike... aisi baat bhi aise karta hai jaise koi business deal ho...(laad governor...he talks about this as if he is striking a business deal)
She then kissed the phone and said with a smile: par humey to isi laad governor se pyaar hai... aap nehi jantey arnavji us pal ka intezar humey bhi hai...jab aapki tarah ek chhota sa laad governor hamarey god mein khelega aur humey maa keheke pukarega...(but I am in love with this laad governor only...you don't know arnavji..even I am waiting for that moment when a little laad governor would play on my lap and call me mom)
Her happiness knew no bounds. She wanted to run to arnav's arms right then.
Lavanya on the other hand was very excited about the whole thing. She called rajiv and said: rajiv, finally kal ..kal mera sapna pura ho jayega..asr and khushi are getting divorced...kal ke baad woh khushi asr ke zindagi se permanently bahaar hogi and its going to be me lavanya all the way. (rajiv, finally my dreams are coming true..asr and khushi are getting divorced tomorrow...after tomorrow khushi will be out of asr's life and it is going to be lavanya all the way)
Rajiv hung up. He was not convinced. Somewhere deep down he felt that something was wrong. But lavanya was not ready to listen. So to keep a tab on things rajiv decided to go to lucknow himself.
At shantivan:
Everyone was sitting quietlly in the evening.
Nani: khushi bitiya ke bina ee ghar kitna sunasuna lagat hai.. (this house looks so empty without khushi..)
Anjali: haan nani ab to ghar mein pehle jaise chahel pehel bhi nehi hoti...(yes we miss those chirpings)
Payal: khushi to hai hi aisi....jaha jaati hai waha sabke dil mein bas jaati hai...(khushi is like that..she makes a way into everyone's heart whereever she goes)
Suddenly they heard a sob and turned. Everyone had their mouth wide opened seeing mami sobbing.
Mami (sobbing): he..helo hi..b..bye bye...
Nani: kaa hui gawa manorama aap ro kaahey rahi hai? (why are you crying?)
Mami: sasuma hum bhi khusi ko too much missing karat hai...(I am missing khushi a lot)
Everyone looked at each other and smiled. It was so unusual for mami to cry for khushi. Mami realised the same and quickly corrected herself saying: humra matbal...hum arnav bitwa ko missiya rahe hai..aur sath maa uu feree packagewa khusi ko bhi..hello hi bye bye (I am actually missing arnav...but along with that I am missing khushi)
Anjali smiled and said: hum jantey hai mami..(we know mami)
Aakash walked in just then and said: ab jab hum sab bhai aur khushiji ko itna miss kar rahe hai...to kyun na ek kaam karey? (since we are all missing them why don't we do something)
Payal looked at him and said: kya aakash? (what aakash?)
Aakash: kyun na hum sab kuch din ke liye lucknow ho aaye....kal achanak jaake unhe ek surprise de de...kaisa idea hai? (why don't we all go to lucknow for few days...lets go tomorrow and give them a surprise)
Everyone jumped up in excitement.
Anjali: arey wah aakash...yeh to bohoti achha idea hai...(great..this is a brilliant idea)
Payal: haan do din baad khushi ka birthday hai...to sab milke manayenge...(its khushi's birthday after two days..so we will all celebrate together)
Aakash: ok then hum kal subah subah nikal jayenge lucknow ke liye...aur haan yeh bhai aur khushiji ke liye surprise hai so koi unhe nehi batayega...(so we will set out for lucknow tomorrow morning...and this is a surprise for bhai and khushiji...no one is going to tell them)
He looked at his mother.
Mami gulped and said: hello hi bye bye...ee surprigewa healthwa ke liye bohutii danjerous howat hai...uu kaa hai zyada der stomachwa mein rehene se stomachwa mein pain howat hai...helo hi bye bye (surprises are dangerous for your health...if you keep them in your stomach for long it starts paining)
Aakash:maa please..aap bata dengi to sara maaza kharab ho jayega.. (mom please...if you tell them all the fun would go)
Mami covered her mouth and said: thik hai aakash bitwa...silenciya ko helo hi aur talking mouthwa ko bye bye bolne ka padi...(ok..i have to be silent now)
Aakash: so thats it...hum sab kal lucknow jaa rahe hai.(so that's it..we are going to lucknow tomorrow)
Everyone had a huge grin on their faces hearing this. Roshni also laughed out loud..seemed even she was happy for the fact that she'll meet arnav and khushi after a long time.
