as far out as the stars seem i want to touch them but i can never reach
grasping at the fueling fire of the sun i grab to nothing and fall to dust
although the stars seem far they're never out of my reach
but the world keeps pushing me back to try and teach that you should never go for your dreams
so i go for the stars once more and i land in space
nothingness consumes my waking grace, as i let the air from my lungs fill the empty place
i shot for the stars but i couldn't reach
i learned my lesson that space tried to teach
