My career was in shambles and she was also traumatized. After I was found innocent and freed, Adaline decided to leave the limelight and go low key. She realize lies spread by the media can destroy what you earn with your sweat in a total second. Adaline wanted to leave the panorama of the media and keep to herself, that's when I helped her set up her NGO."
Wow. I don't really know much Drey. He never told me about this drug issue and even his sister. I think it's agonizing for him to talk about it. One case solved, two more to go. "Nooo, how can I send an sms when my phone with my sim inserted is missing?
"Mmnh." His phone got lost before the pictures were posted and an sms was sent to from his number, ending things with us a day after the pictures were posted. Something isn't clicking here. There are missing pieces to this puzzle.
"What was the content of the message, show it to me lemme see if the location can be tracked."
"I've deleted it a long time ago, who keeps a beak up message?" I rolled my eyes.
"Our chances of finding out more about this mysterious sms is gone to the wind then."
I remember something, "one last thing Drey, was it Adaline you were cozy with in your hotel?"
"What do you mean by cozy?"
"You were kissing her forehead, laughing at something with her and had your arms around her shoulders."
Drey looked at me, stunned. "Did you send a detective to spy on me or you has a cam on me?"
"Just answer the damn question Drey."
"Yeah why?"
"Someone sent me pictures and videos of you two."
"Who?"
"I don't know."
"There's more to this whole thing. From my perspective I think someone wanted to break us up. Why would someone send you a package with pictures and videos of us and also someone else send a break up sms?" Drey said after thinking.
I think same too, whoever did that really won. I was stupid, I should have trusted Drey to know he wasn't capable of something like that. It's not my fault, I was in doubt and suspicious after what Achille told me.
Speaking of Achille could he have done that to prove his point? Gosh I'm so confused. I can't tell Drey either. What if I tell him? Where's my evidence it's really him? I can't give baseless accusations, it's going to create more conflict between them and even strain my relations with his parents.
Drey pinched my nose lightly and smiled down at me, "stop looking cute with your thinking face, what happens to us?"
"What happens to us as in? I very well know what he's talking about.
"I know you're not dumb Ann so tell me."
"Why should I be the one to tell you?"
"You're the one who doesn't want anything to do with me."
"Yes and even know."
Drey's expression changed, he held my hands and stared at me with sad eyes. "But Ann, I didn't send the sms and I didn't cheat, why won't you take me back?"

This time around, I made the bold move of connecting our lips sitting on his laps. He was surprised by my actions and pulled away to look at me. I smiled at him and he reconnected our lips again, I fully gave in running my fingers through his hair. He deepened it and growled.
It took everything within me to pull away. "I love you Drey and I take you back, let's pick up from where we were disrupted." I said to him laughing.
He laughed too, "that's my baby girl." His eyes raked my arm, resting on my left ring finger. He scowled, "where's the ring?"
"Somewhere in a far away garbage dump site."
"What!" Drey let go off my waist, "Ann that ring is the symbol of my love for you and my promise to be yours and love you forever. How could you."
I couldn't help but laugh. He glared at me, clearly displeased with me disposing off the ring and laughing too, "chill boo, I still have it but not on my finger it's in my drawer at home as I speak."
He relaxed and pulled me to him. "Don't ever give me a heart attack like that again." He whispered into my ear and but it gently.
"Never ever boo."
"I love you so much Ann, you don't know what I went through when I thought I lost you. Please don't ever leave me, ever."
"I promise not to, but you should also promise to make things clear in situations Athens twat our love. I love you so much too boo, I went through hell these past months."
"I promise to make your life now heavenly. Your life is going to be like a fairytale like the princesse you are. This is the promise to you from your Prince Charming, Princesse." Drey kisses my knickers and beamed at me.
I rested my head on his chest, my face is heating up. I love it when he calls me princess in French. We laid down with my head on his chest as we gazed at the sky above us. It was so beautiful combined with the tides of the sea on this special night where I've gotten back the love of my life.
I raise my head to look at Drey to find him staring at me in adoration. I blushed and bowed. "No no baby let me gaze at your beauty. God really was showing off when He was creating you." He leaned it to kiss my forehead. I entwines or fingers and went back to laying in his chest.
