Officer Jaehyun: Okay ummm y/n do you mind having a partner?

Officer Jaehyun: Okay so Wooyoung you're gonna be working with y/n
Wooyoung: Yes sir
Officer Jaehyun: umm Soyeon and Ju-ne you guys will be keeping track of things
Ju-ne: Wait what?
Officer Jaehyun: you guys will be looking up for profiles and such
Ju-ne: like a computer forensic?
Officer Jaehyun: Yes
Ju-ne: oh okay
Officer Jaehyun: umm Leedo?
Leedo: Yes sir?

Officer Jaehyun: alright you're gonna be working with y/n and Wooyoung
Leedo: Yes sir
He nodded and looked at both detectives Hongjoong and Jinyoung.
Officer Jaehyun: I want you guys to keep track of them and make sure they're doing this right and if they're having a hard time help them
They nodded and officer Jaehyun walked away and detective Hongjoong looked at me and smiled.
Detective Hongjoong: you're really good at this y/n maybe we could use you for more scenes and such
Y/n: okay
Detective Jinyoung: you don't think I'm good enough Hongjoong?
Detective Hongjoong: yah Jinyoung don't act like this now
Detective Jinyoung: we've been partners for 4 years now and you want to use somebody else that's not even an official detective?
Detective Hongjoong: Jinyoung shut up it's not like that okay?
Detective Jinyoung: fine..
He walked away and Hongjoong looked at me and smiled a bit.
Detective Hongjoong: hey sorry about that he gets like that sometimes
Y/n: oh it's okay it doesn't really bother me much
Detective Hongjoong: ah okay so um who's this guy? Is he a friend of yours?
Y/n: oh Changbin? Yeah he's my best friend
Detective Hongjoong: oh that's nice well I'm gonna get going and have the rest work on this scene so um you guys can just chill here for a bit
Y/n: oh okay
He smiled and walked away to get back to the scene. Changbin started giggling and I looked at him giving him a confused look.
Y/n: are you okay?
Changbin: dude I think he likes you
Y/n: huh?
Changbin: did you see the way he's been looking at you??
Y/n: no
Changbin: he was admiring your beautiful looks!
Y/n: I'm beautiful?
Changbin: wha- y/n don't be stupid you're beautiful
Y/n: ummm okay? But even if he does like me I'm not interested
Changbin: why not?
Y/n: you know I'm not interested in being in a relationship
Changbin: Yeah I know but still give him a chance
Y/n: ugh fine but if he's not interested you owe me $50
Changbin: deal! If he is interested you owe me $50
Y/n: deal
We both shook each others hand and I flicked his forehead and he started to whine.
Changbin: ow y/n!!
Y/n: never call me beautiful again
Changbin: wow I can't compliment you?
Y/n: yes and no
Changbin: huh okay but anyways we need to get back into the investigation
Y/n: but didn't Hongjoong said we can chill here for a bit?
Changbin: yeah but I don't want to because of Chanyeol
Y/n: oh right well you go ahead I'll chill here for a little bit longer
Changbin: okay
He walked away and headed to Chanyeol. I was relaxing until I caught Jinyoung staring at me. His eyes widened a bit and looked away immediately. I was confused but I just let it slide.
Jinyoung's POV
I was staring over at y/n and when she noticed I freaked out a little and looked away. I headed up to Hongjoong and pushed him a bit. He looked at me with a bitchy look and I rolled my eyes.
Hongjoong: what do you want Jinyoung?
Jinyoung: are you sure you want her to be in more investigations?
Hongjoong: yes I'm sure. Why? Do you not like it?
Jinyoung: I don't think you just want her to be in more investigations I think you're interested in her
Hongjoong: what? Are you crazy? Why would I do that?
Jinyoung: because that's what happened to that last girl but she rejected you after you confessed
Hongjoong: I didn't ask her to help us solve out more investigations because I was interested in her. I asked her to help us because she's very good at this and I think she'll be good for our team
Jinyoung: hmm sure
Hongjoong: I'm being serious Jinyoung
Jinyoung: was that last girl good at this?
Hongjoong: no she sucked ass. Why do you think she dropped out?
Jinyoung: because she wasn't good enough for the team
Hongjoong: exactly
Jinyoung: I still think you're interested in y/n
Hongjoong: if you don't shut the fu-
Jaehyun: Hongjoong. Jinyoung
Jinyoung: oh..uh yes Jaehyun?
Jaehyun: what are you guys doing?
Jinyoung: oh nothing
Jaehyun: why isn't y/n doing anything?
Hongjoong: oh because I said she could relax a bit before starting
Jaehyun: I'm sorry what? Hongjoong no you must have y/n start working I'm not just gonna have Leedo and Wooyoung do it themselves
Hongjoong: oh um sorry
Jaehyun: it's fine. Y/N! Get over here!
She nodded and headed towards us.
Y/n: yes officer Jaehyun?
Jaehyun: just call me Jaehyun
Y/n: oh..um yes Jaehyun?
Jaehyun: I want you to start working now
Y/n: yes Jaehyun
Jaehyun: alright go
She nodded and headed to Wooyoung and Leedo and started working.
Jaehyun: keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't fuck up
We both nodded and he walked away to his teammates. I slapped Hongjoong on the back of his head.
Hongjoong: ow you fucker
Jinyoung: that's what you get for allowing her to take a small break before she even started
Hongjoong: oh fuck off
Jinyoung: shut up and let's start working
Hongjoong: fine
He sighed and we got to work.
