nessa sips on her water some more before she attempts to get ready for tonight. some tiktok guy that the girls are fans of is having a pop up shop event for his clothing line and nessa was dragged into it because she gets dragged along to everything else. tonight was no exception. she doesn't really mind however, she's just happy to be out of the house and spending time with her best friends.
in the middle of applying some simple makeup, nessa's phone vibrates against her vanity, the glaring screen letting her know she has a new notification. thinking that it could be the group chat, nessa reaches over, struggling a little to receive her phone. when she manages to grab it, her eyes skim over the text message before her freshly gelled brows contort into a confused expression.
"hey number neighbour?" she whispers to herself, beyond bewildered by the text.
quickly, she type a response.

josh exits the messaging app, a smile on his face. it felt nice talking to nessa. she seems cool and definitely passed the vibe check. he makes a mental note in his head to thank his friends for telling him about number neighbours when they get back.
deciding that he should follow nessa's socials like he said- he opens up the insta app and types her name into the search bar. seconds later her profile pops up and he clicks onto it, his jaw dropping slightly when her photos load. she's gorgeous.
