Sorry I haven't been posting one-shots lately. I'm sure you saw my announcement but, it's just that I don't really have any idea what I should do next (*•⎯⎯•*).
Yep, that's right, I haven't been posting one-shots because of stupid writer's block. (T^T) Gomenasai Minna-san!

Ugh...
"Joker-san."
Life absolutely sucks.
"Joker-san."
Why did that artifact take so much time to research? And stupid overimaginative imagination for those nightmares.
"Joker-san!"
Life sucks, at least I have my- *Slap*
"Itai!", yelled Joker as he held his cheek which had started to form a small hand-like mark. "Hachi! What was that for?!", whined Joker as he nursed his cheek.
"Joker-san you were staring into space for the fifth time tonight!", exclaimed Hachi. It was only then that Hachi noticed the dark circles under Joker's eyes. "Joker-san, have you been sleeping alright?".
"Hmm?", hummed Joker in response. "Oh, don't worry about-", but before Joker could finish his sentence, he was interrupted by a yawn. "-it.".
Hachi just sent Joker a suspicious glare. "Really Hachi, I'm fine!", said Joker as he raised his hands up in the universal sign of surrender.
Hachi glared at him for a few more seconds before dropping it with a huff. "Anyway, dinner is ready. I made my special curry tonight."
"WE ARE?!?", and with that, Joker ran straight to the dining area, leaving Hachi there on the balcony of the Sky Joker. ((A/N: Did I forget to mention the location? Whoops!!)
"Hopefully Joker-san will rest tonight, after all, he hasn't slept in a couple of days...", trailed of Hachi before he sighed. "Well, I better get in there before Joker-san finishes all of the curry."
The Next Night...
"It's finally over!!", yelled Joker in relief as he entered the Sky Joker.
"Joker-san! You were so cool!", proclaimed Hachi. Joker just smirked in reply before saying, "I'm gonna go shower, I'm exhausted! I'll go take my deserved relaxing warm shower".
"Okay, Joker-san! I'll be waiting near the TV."
And with that, Joker went to his room before heading towards the shower. When Joker was out of hearing range, Hachi sighed before walking towards the TV, planning to watch tonight's heist while waiting.
"Joker-san has been overworking himself lately...", muttered Hachi as he sat on the couch. "I hope he's alright, I just hope he'll remember to remove his-", but before Hachi could finish, in came Spade and Queen.
Hachi blinked in surprise before jumping up and yelling, "EHH?!?-", but Hachi was silenced by Queen putting her hand over his mouth.
"Hachi-kun! Be quiet!", shushed Queen. "Don't tell Joker we're here! Speaking of Joker, where is he exactly?".
"Wait, wait, how did you even get inside?"
"Maa, maa, Hachi-kun, we're kaitous. We can manage!", cheered on Spade. "Besides, we're here for a bit of revenge.".
Flashback...
Joker was spying on Spade and Queen as they discussed Spade's newest book. Joker hid his presence the best he could as he inched slowly towards the light switch at the corner of the room with his phone in hand which was connected to hidden speakers throughout the room.
Joker flipped the light switch close and put on his night-vision goggles. He stifled a laugh before playing a video on his phone.
"WHO DARES INTERRUPT MY SLUMBER?!?"
Joker laughed at the sound of their screams.
"Happy Halloween!".
Present...
Spade shook his head, ridding his mind of that awful memory.
"Anyway, we wanted to scare him as revenge.", said Queen and Spade nodded in agreement. "The last Halloween was ruined because of him", muttered Spade.
"What was that, Spade-san?"
"Nothing, Hachi-kun."
"Well, we wanted to say-", but Queen was cut off by the sound of a door opening and footsteps.
Joker walked into the room, eyes unfocused with fatigue. It was like he wasn't really seeing them as he walked past them, going towards the couch.
Spade, Queen, and Hachi were frozen in place, with the latter having a different reason as to why.
'Joker-san is extremely sleep-deprived right now! With his fatigue, he might reveal his-!', but before Hachi could finish the thought, Joker did exactly what he hoped he didn't.
He removed his weights.
Spade and Queen watched in shock as Hachi panicked in the background.
The moment Joker removed the weights, he started floating upward, and if that wasn't freaky enough for Spade and Queen, he also started sleeping on the ceiling as if he did this multiple times.
"WHAT THE-", but Spade and Queen were silenced by Hachi. "Leave Joker-san be.", started Hachi. "He hasn't slept in a few days."
"But-"
"No 'buts'"
Hachi went out of the room for a few minutes, coming back with a ladder that could reach the ceiling and put it against the wall. "Joker-san will most likely wake up later this afternoon, so be patient. He's been up for days."
Hachi then proceeded to make tea. As he made the tea, Hachi sighed and thought, 'This is going to be a long day.'
Later That Day, Afternoon...
Queen, Spade, and Hachi were right under Joker talking about nothing in particular, waiting for Joker to wake up when a loud yawn resounded throughout the whole room.
"...ugh. What time-", Joker was interrupted by a yawn escaping his mouth. "-is it...?".
Joker opened his eyes and when he spotted Queen, Spade, and Hachi looking up at him, the two latter with wide eyes. He then realized who they were.
Spade and Queen.
Spade and Queen who was looking at him from the floor. Looking at himself while he was up on the ceiling.
"Shit."
Later...
After Joker got down from the ceiling via the ladder that Hachi placed by the wall earlier, he put on his weights and went in front of Spade, Queen, and Hachi.
He inhaled before asking, "You want answers, don't you?". Spade and Queen just gave Joker a look that says 'obviously'.
Joker sighed in what sounded like resignation before saying, "Let's go to my bedroom, it's safer there."
"And before you ask, my bedroom is soundproof."
At Joker's room...
An awkward silence spread over the room as the four people sat on the floor in a circle position with Joker parallel with Spade and Queen parallel to Hachi.
"Okay, Joker, what was that back there?", asked Spade, breaking the silence. "Yeah! What was that?!", asked Queen less calmly.
Joker sighed once again before saying, "...well, how do I start this?". At this point, Hachi put his small hand on Joker's shoulder. "Joker-san, you don't need to say this now. We can always do it tomorrow or next week."
Joker just looked at Hachi with a small smile of resignation before he said, "It's fine, Hachi. They deserve to know."
Queen was starting to get impatient, as shown by the small amount of steam starting to come out of her ear.
Joker then looked at Queen and Spade before starting, "I guess I should start at the beginning.". Spade gave him a small nod before he continued.
"When I was born, I was normal. Just a regular kid with a father and mother. But then, the morning I turned four, I awoke on the ceiling of my room and I was terrified."
Hachi already knew this so he was watching Spade and Queen's reactions very carefully, ready to defend his mentor. Both of the latter's reactions were confusion, surprise, and curiosity.
"How?"
"I don't know.", sighed Joker. "My parents and I tried to find the cause but we couldn't find anything. Even up until now."
"We didn't know what to do. Ever since that day, I have worn something heavy in my shoes or clothes because due to this weird phenomenon, I float upwards but there are benefits."
"Care to enlighten us?"
Joker smirks before saying, "Wind Manipulation."
Spade and Queen blinked before Spade said, "That explains a lot actually."
Queen's reaction, however, was different, "WIND MANIPULATION?!"
Joker rubbed the back of his head, "Yeah, I can do a bit of wind manipulation...", then he turned King and said, "What do you mean?".
"Well, there's the fact when something dramatic happens, the wind acts up around you.", started of King. "Whenever you jump, you go higher than a normal person should be able to and I do feel a small gust of wind. Then, whenever I'm in a small pickle, and you're around, I feel a small gust of wind whenever I shoot my Ice gun, and it somehow almost always hits the target, but when you're not there, I don't feel it."
Joker and Queen stare at Spade before Queen starts thinking of all the times she's noticed unnatural gusts of winds too. Joker just sweatdrops seeing both of them try and brainstorm the occasions.
Hachi just silently watched the whole exchange, not saying a word because he knows this is Joker's responsibility and totally not because the author forgot he was there, noooooo, totally not!
"Well...", said Joker, catching the other's attention. "...that went better than expected!", he said with a grin.
"Of course, you big dummy!", said Queen before a dark aura surrounded her. "Now, care to tell me why you didn't tell us?", she said in a sickeningly sweet tone.
"H-hey! L-let's all c-calm down!! R-right, S-Spade?", asked Joker, voice wavering. Spade just looked him in the eye and said, "Don't drag me into this."
Right then, Queen leaped up from her position, her diamond sword suddenly in her hand, and yelled, "COME HERE!"
Joker ran away from Queen screaming, "WAIT! I CAN EXPLAIN!!"
Hachi and Spade just watched the two squabble.
"They're going to be doing this for a while, aren't they?
"Unfortunately. Joker-san has the ability to always irk Queen-san."
"Yes, he does, Hachi-kun. Yes, he does."
