I can hear it in my ears
There's a fizzing
I'm dizzy
Think I need a seat
My feet flare-up
Menacingly
They look ruby red
So I lie down instead
Put them up on the bed
And my pounding head on the cold floor
Maybe then my nerves will stop screaming
My mouth is steaming
Breathing is a chore
Manual labour
I'm sure the neighbour would scream in horror
If she ever saw me in this state
So I reach for a blanket to cover my indecency
Listen to the muffled melody
The symphony of the poison coursing through my veins
