Jisoo PoV
Lisa and I were cleaning up the gym after football practice
"Jisoo how long have you liked Jennie?" Lisa asked
"Well I actually don't know to be honest. Whenever I saw her I thought she was really cute and I never got the time to talk to her before but then I got myself into relationships and rarely saw her at school until now. Why do you ask?"
"Because Jennie's always liked you since middle school" Lisa chuckled
"She mentioned that once I think" I smiled immediately without thinking because of remembering what the girl has said made me so happy
"Chae was talking about Jennie a lot yesterday because she wouldn't stop worrying about her but I told Chaeng that she was in good hands because you were with her" Lisa smiled at me and put her thumbs up
"I'm flattered to hear that Li"
"I'm glad Jennie's feeling better though because yesterday when she fainted I came just in time before she smashed her head on the ground"
"Thanks so much I wouldn't know what to do if she got injured" Jennie wasn't in school today because she was resting from what happened the other day
"Yeah same to be honest anyways you do know the winter ball is in two weeks"
"Yeah I'm organising it because I'm part of the student council"
"Are you gonna ask Jennie to be your date?"
Her question really struck me. I forgot that people needed dates for these things and especially if you were in a relationship you should go with your partner. The problem was that our relationship was a secret and my parents didn't even know that she was my girlfriend let alone knew that I talked to her every day.
"I'm working on it" I smiled at her. I didn't want to concern Lisa with my problems and especially my relationship with Jennie. She had her own relationship and problems to deal with.
"You sure because you should ask her sooner. You do know Chaeyoung and Jennie are going back to work after Christmas holidays so after the winter ball you would have two weeks with her until she goes back to her normal schedule. This means you would probably see her once every two weeks at least depending on her schedule"
My heart sank. This was the reality of dating a celebrity and the thought of not being able to see Jennie every day could not sink into my head.
"How are you acting fine about this? Your girlfriend is busy as well"
"Jisoo I'm in their company now. Remember I got an invitation from YG? I'm a trainee there now and he approves of our relationship. Jennie is going to have two managers now because Chaeyoung is slowly moving to the music department where I'm at. Her singing talent has been recognised and Jennie is okay with that but Chae still wants to support Jennie because she has this sort of attachment to her"
"You guys never told me this?"
"You're busy with all the clubs you do and we know you had to spend all of your extra time with your grandpa" she shrugged
"You could've at least told me when it happened because I feel like I've drifted from you" I was annoyed at Lisa
"It's not that big of a deal"
"Lisa I still want to know what's going on in your life"
"Chill dude you have Jennie with you all the time or I don't even see you anywhere to be honest. You're always late to something so you're running around places"
I paused before I said anything. I really had a lot going on
"Jennie is also hurt that you don't have enough time for her...I'm also hurt" she muttered the last part but I still heard her
I was so stupid. I pushed everyone away without realising and all I did was kept myself more busy with activities that were pointless
"I'm sorry I didn't notice anything" I looked at her sincerely
"Sometimes I really wonder what matters to you Jisoo and what doesn't" Lisa sighed "I'm gonna get going Chaeyoung is waiting for me"
She walked out whilst I still had the feeling of guilt in me. I was supposed to see my grandpa but I couldn't stop thinking about Jennie and what Lisa said 'Jennie is also hurt you don't have enough time for her'. I shut my eyes and prayed that my grandpa would be okay not seeing me today. I sprinted out the gym and heard Lisa shout "Where are you running off to?" Whilst Roseanne had her arm hooked around her's
"To see my girlfriend!"
I ran out the school gates and saw people selling fruits coming in view. I slowed down and looked for strawberries because that was Jennie's favourite fruit
"Excuse me can I please have that box of strawberries over there" they were sitting behind the man running this shop
"Yes ma'am"
He grabbed the box and asked "That's five dollars ma'am"
I took out some left over change in my blazer pocket and just had the right amount
I gave the man the money and was holding the strawberries in a plastic bag
Jennie's house would take a minute by walking so I turned right and walked down the nice houses on that street whistling a tune on that beautiful day evening with the sky painted in hues of pink and blue with a slight tingle of orange
I found myself in front of Jennie's house. I climbed over her fence and went around the back. I saw her bedroom window, took out my phone, found her number and called her.
"Hey Jennie"
"Hey is everything okay? You're with your grandpa now right? Did anything happen?"
"He can wait...look outside your window"
"What?" Her beautiful figure became clearer as she was walking towards the piece of glass "Jisoo oh my god what are you doing here!"
"I brought strawberries" I raised up the plastic bag "I'll climb to you"
Jennie opened her windows and was now on her balcony
"You're crazy you know that?" Jennie shook her head whilst I was half way up her tree
"I'm crazy for you"
Jennie giggled whilst blushing "You're so corny"
"That's what love do to people babe"
I successfully got on her balcony with the strawberries. Jennie wrapped her arms around me and asked "Why did you not see your grandpa but wanted to see me?"
"Because I realised something. I was pushing you away slowly unintentionally and without knowing it I've hurt you didn't I?"
"Well you did spend a lot of time with Krystal and the student council or you had some other club going on"
"That's why I'm quitting all of them"
"You what?" She was shocked
I brought my hand up to her face and caressed her soft skin slowly
"I want to spend more time with you. We're girlfriends and since we're a secret hiding in the janitor closet for five minutes making out everyday isn't ideal" Jennie blushed and hid her head in my neck whilst I chuckled "but I want to hide in the library with you having you in my arms sitting in a pile of bean bags behind bookshelves or going to classrooms to make out and not the janitor closet" I teased her
Her head pulled back so she could see me "That's what you really want Jichu. To make out more" she joked and rolled her eyes
"No I also just want to see you more since we don't have a lot of classes together!" I defended myself
"I'm convinced but I know how much your status in school means to you but you what happens when I get back to work?"
"I'll FaceTime you as much as I can whenever you're free. Or if your work days sometimes finishes at 2am I'll come over to cuddle"
"And when I'm not in he country for a week?"
"I'll come and visit you"
"Even during school?"
"Yes"
"So when I'm in Paris?"
"I'll be there. Not for the whole week but at least the weekend"
"You're willing to do that? Plane tickets are expensive"
"I have a private jet"
"Oh yeah you're rich"
I stared at her lips for a long time whilst she was saying something. I just ignored her and closed the gap between us
Jennie was shocked because she was mid way her sentence but she relaxed into the kiss and made it deeper by tangling her hand in my hair. We pulled away and I blurted out "I love you" whilst she blushed again
"I love you too promise me nothing will ever come between us
even when I'm away with work next year"
"I promise" I kissed her again her lips were just so addictive
As she pulled away she asked "How's the student council going anyways with the winter ball coming up?"
"We're busy but I'm quitting remember?"
"I don't want you to quit something for me Jisoo. You spend so much time and effort in that club but not as much as football of course but getting the role as Vice President doesn't come from no where"
"I'll go on a break then until you get back to work if you want? And whenever you're in school I won't do any clubs"
"Are you sure Jisoo I feel bad"
"Don't baby I want to see you as much as I can"
"You're so sweet" she kissed me
"Why are you so interested in the winter ball anyways?"
"I've never been to something like that before and I see those type of things in movies"
"Couples dancing to slow music wearing nice attire?"
"Basically" she laughed
"Do you wanna be my date to the ball?"
"I would love to but what would others think about us?"
"I'll just say we're going as 'friends' don't worry"
"But then girls will flirt with you"
Jennie pouted
"I'll tell them I have a girlfriend which I do" I smiled "should we eat the strawberries now babe?"
"Yeah sure" She kissed me again
