Andre's POV
I run my fingers through my hair repeatedly the very thing Ann said I should stop doing. I shouldn't chicken out. I have to tell her the truth. "I love you damn it!" I rose my voice of out frustration.
Ann froze in her steps and blinked twice shrieking, "what!"
I walked closer to her and took her hand in mine, "I love you Ann, very much. I've realized I can't keep fighting this feeling anymore. I need to liberate myself, give myself a chance to love again, take that risk of loving you even if I lose I know I lost to the most beautiful and sweetest thing and person alive , your love and you."
She loosened her hand out of my hold , going back to the table, "why should I believe you ? You told me you can't love a week ago and you tell me now you love me, do you expect me to believe you out of the blue?"
"I know I said that Ann but believe me I mean what I'm saying right now , I love you so much. I talked to my mother about how I felt and after talking to her I knew and concluded I can't fight this anymore , I'm hurting myself and you , been wishing in my head you never meet anyone to take you away from me while I can't love. Wishes are powerful just like words and it's about time I man up and confess what I feel for you and that's what I'm doing now, I don't mind if you don't love me back , I'll accept and about the kiss , I loved it."
I didn't realize she was crying till she wiped her eyes , "when did you realize you do ?"
When did I realize I do? "Thanksgiving dinner party. I couldn't get enough of you just by being in your presence , your face haunted me that morning at the coffee shop till that party. It heightened the night I kissed you and it's been massive since, I was a coward then but now I'm standing up for my love."
She drew nearer to me crying, "I love you too Drey, I do so much I couldn't tell you cause I was afraid you'll reject me like you said the kiss was a mistake."
I cupped her cheeks , wiping her tears with my fingers, "babe, I'm sorry it wasn't a mistake , my feeling were heightened then and I didn't know what to do after I kissed you , I fled away because I was a coward , I was ashamed my kiss had messed up our friendship."
"So what now?"
What now ? Oh yeah ask her to be your girlfriend!. She said she loves me too , but is she ready to be labeled as my girlfriend? There's only one way to find out .
I slowly got on one knee and took her hand in mine, "Anniella Naana Morrison , will you be my girlfriend?"
She took her hand away from mine and turned her back to me. You've just been rejected , congratulations on standing up for your love!
I was hurt still on one knee looking at her body slowly turning towards me smiling and she shouted, "yes Drey! I will!"
Have I ever been relieved in my life before like I am now? Obviously no. I cupped her cheeks and did what I did that night , we shared saliva for the second time , this time it was different we both were giving in.
We parted breathing heavily, I carried her bridal style and went back to the shore with her . We run into the sea, smiling and splashing water on each other .
Today I found the love I had been running away from. I stared at her happy face , smiling being carefree , splashing water on me and I'm glad more than ever I made the right choice, Anniella.
We made our way back to the shore and laid down admiring the stars in the sky. An idea struck me, Anniella one tome told me her favorite is Perfect by Ed Sheeran , tonight's all about her why don't I sing it for her ? My vibe ain't that bad and not good either. It won't hurt.

I felt my shoulder wet , I looked at her face only to see her crying . I was alarmed and made an attempt to get up , she placed her hand on my chest to stop me , she smiled "I'm fine-uh- just this song gets me pretty emotional and you sang it on this special day-it's made it more special for me and perfect , just like the title."
"I know you love this love I just didn't know this much and I'm happy more than ever I sang it." I pecked her forehead .

She chuckled , "non Monsieur I'm not yours till that diamond is on my finger!"

"Lest I forgot I'm gonna pluck a from one of the bough of mistletoe, we kissed there." I shot her a wink and went back to the table where I plucked a berry from a bough and kept it in my pocket.
"So how did you find this place and planned everything?" She asked curious. It was cute seeing her purse her lips.
"Actually El and Chloe found this place, they said they was going to be a romantic Christmas even here and helped me plan everything."
Her eyes bugged out, "Chloe and El knew?"
"Yeah , they promised me not to spill it out to you that's the reason you didn't know though it concerned you."
She looked like she was putting pieces together, pursing her lips , "so that's why El was so hyped about this whole dinner thing, Chloe too and the trio meeting and whispers that I asked you about."
I nodded causing her to pinch me, I yelped, "ouch you meanie." It did hurt but not that much , I was being a drama queen.
Ann wasn't perturbed , she rather stuck her tongue out at me, "that's what you get for keeping secrets, what if I had a heart attack from all this big surprise huh?"
"I know my baby is strong enough to contain this big surprise" I pinched the bridge of her nose causing her to giggle.
"Whatever, just don't keep secrets again or I'll castrate you the next time."
"Baby how will I get mini Anns or mini Andres?"
She shyly hid her head in the crook of my neck.

I cupped cheeks sharing saliva one last time before she leaves. I broke away and pecked her forehead, "I'll call you in the morning."

That made my heart swell, she's said it many times this night and it still has that affect on me , I waved her watching her leave and open the door.
I got back into my car and drove away. I woke up today feeling very happy in my system. I had talked to my mother on Christmas Day and told her how I felt about Ann , she listened like she always does and advised me to go with what my heart wants , take a risk for life is all about risk taking , if you can't take a risk , you'll never win or know what you're missing out and she was damn right. I didn't know I was missing the joy and happiness that comes with loving and being loved right back!
I parked the Lamborghini Urus, I used it today just because Anniella loves it , she told me it was her dream car , I'm going fulfill that dream for her and all her dreams that I can as a human fulfill for her.
I stripped out of my clothes and took a bath rubbing my body to get rid of the sand and sea weed. I wore a pajamas pant and got into bed grinning like a Cheshire Cat. This day is too Perfect.
I took out my phone and stared at my home and lock screen wallpaper of the picture I took of Anniella today. I opened my Instagram and decided to post it , show off me jolie fille brune (my cute brown skin girl)
