What happens? What is the old man saying?! Let's find out!

Alex's POV (continued)
What does that have (anything) to do with all of this?! My (parents) don't even know anything about this world.
"What?! What do my parents and Suzy's have to do with (anything)?! My parents don't even (know) about this world!!" I told him, and yelled.
Mary and Jess looked very worried and very afraid. Oh they should be! I thought.
I marched up to them, angry right now. I was completely and utterly exhausted from all these puzzles and clues. Can't anyone just flat out say what I need to know?! Is that so hard?! It's like a goose chase! Ugh, I am sick and tired of all these questions, running through my head and I want answers now!
"You have to tell me, (now)! I want to know what exactly is going on! Why you look nothing like Suzy and why both me and Suzy have the same picture of our grandparents. Why I'm a werewolf, when I thought I was human? Why I don't know what going on? I need (answers) and I need them (now)!" I told them angrily.
They looked absolutely terrified. So do the pack. They look really scared, but I'm too mad to feel guilty. I keep glaring at them.
"Are you going to tell me or not?!" I asked, murderous right now.
They sighed and looked at each other before nodding. Jess started speaking.
"I think you better call your parents. We have to tell you and Suzy together." Jess said.
"But my parents-" I started.
"Don't know about this world, and are on business trips. We know, that's just a cover." he explained.
I was confused now. How did they know? Just a cover? What were they really doing?
"Just call them, we'll explain together." Mary said, sighing.
Everyone was looking at us. My anger was still there but it was mixed in with the confusion.
"The meeting has ended. You all may go now." I told them.
Everyone was too scared to do anything but leave. It was only me, Alec, Zane, Mary and Jess. I didn't really want him here for this.
"Alec, I'm sorry. But I need you to leave." I told him.
He nodded, confused and a little hurt. I didn't want him to know yet. I'd tell him everything about me at one time. Then he'd have to decide if he still wanted the broken, messed up, confused, me, as a mate.
That left me, Zane, Mary and Jess. I pulled out my phone and called them. Mom picked up at the 5th ring.
"Hello? Alex, what's wrong? You never call." mom asked.
"Come home, now." I stated, angry.
"I can't just come home, right now. How dare you talk to me like that! I'm your mom!" she replied astonished.
"Yah, right! You are (not) my mom! I know for a fact now! You never acted like it and I know your not! Neither is John!" I yelled at her, angrily.
Mary, Zane and Jess looked at me in shock. They didn't know that I had figured it out.
"What?! We are your parents you will not treat me like that!" she said, outraged.
"Oh can it! I know! I'm a werewolf, and not the regular kind either! I'm blue and black for crying out loud!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.
Zane, Mary and Jess looked at each other and then at me.
"John! She figured it out. I knew we shouldn't have left, I had a bad feeling about this." I heard Stephanie (my so call "mom") say to John (my "dad").
"Hold the phone out. We'll be there in a second." she said, giving up.
I did as she said, and held the phone out, confused a little. What is that gonna do?
There was a flash of light, from my phone, and suddenly Stephanie and John were here.
What was that?! I thought, weirded out.
"How did you do that?! Magic! So what your a witch and warlock!" I said.
"Smart girl! You were always on top of things! That's how we raised ya!" John said.
"Raised me but didn't give birth to me." I said, sadly.
"Oh! We're so sorry! We couldn't tell you, we were suppose to tell you on your 18th birthday!" she said.
"So what? I'm adopted?" I asked, wondering how I got into the care of these two.
"No. We're actually your aunt and uncle." Stephanie said.
"So, my mom and dad gave me over to you? What they didn't want me? And what about Suzy? They didn't want her either? Are Mary and Jess also my aunt and uncle?" I asked, not getting it.
"No, we're your parents best friends." Jess said.
"So, they didn't want me or Suzy? What did we do wrong?" I asked, wondering what we could have possibly done to make our parents hate us.
"No!" Mary, Jess, Zane, Stephanie, and John all said together.
"They loved you more than anything in the world. They're still watching out for you. They just couldn't keep you. They are the two most powerful people in the world, and a lot of people want to hurt them. If anyone found out you and Suzy were their daughters they'd tell the whole supernatural world and everyone would try to get their hands on you. So they had to give you to someone else and try to raise you normally." Mary explained.
I snorted. Normally, ya right! Normally, my foot! We were not raised normally.
"How come Suzy gets to know she's a werewolf and I don't?" I asked, going to the next question in my head.
"Suzy isn't as special as you. When she grows up, she'll have a normal life. You won't." Stephanie answered.
"Why? Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" I asked, getting wary.
"You have both your parents powers and thats something everyone wants. Suzy was born just a normal werewolf." John answered.
"What is my parents powers?" I asked, worrying now.
"Your mom and dad are both werewolves, they had special powers, they were Elements. Your mother can control water and air. Your father can control earth and fire. When you were born, you got both your parents traits, which means your the Lifest It means that you control water, earth, fire, and air. Your called the Lifest because in Fire there's love, in Water there is sadness, in Earth there is strength and in Air there is wisdom and thats what you need to live and if you die the world dies." Zane informed me.
"Oh. My. God. Please tell me your joking and I'm being punk'd or something." I begged.
They all looked at me sadly.
Oh no! I'm able to control all the elements! This isn't good! If I become unstable, or really emotional, then I could put the whole world in danger! Great.
"There is two in the whole world. Ever. When you turn 18 you'll stop aging. You also won't be able to die, nothing can kill you. You can still hurt and feel pain, but you can't die. Before you turn 18, though, you can die. If you die, then the world will die with you, because you control all the elements and if the one that controls them dies, then they die." Stephanie said, fidgeting
"No. Way. Please tell me your kidding or I'll really believe you!" I said, pacing.
"Anything else I should know?!" I asked.
"Yes. Call Alec please." Mary said.
Alec? Alec are you there? I thought to him.
Yah, right here. Is there something wrong? He thought back, immediately.
Come back, I need you now. I thought to him.
I'm coming, he thought back.
He was here in 5 seconds flat. I stared at him. Amazing. Guess he was really worried.
"Alec go stand next to Alex and hold her hand." Stephanie told him.
He started at her, confused, but did as she asked. He came over and held my hand.
"Stay right there." Mary said, and she and Stephanie went to the kitchen.
Not like we were going to move. I thought.
Ha ha. You ok? Alec thought back.
Not really. I'll explain everything tonight. I promise.
He nodded, understanding. He's so nice to me. I feel guilty that he has to go through all this with me.
"Alex, Alec. I want you to lift this water. Together. Go." Stephanie said.
"What?! Are you serious?!" Alec asked and looked at her as if she's crazy.
"Wait! Don't tell me Alec is the other Lifest?!" I asked.
"The what?!" Alec asked, but everyone ignored him.
"Maybe. See the the two Lifest are mates. Even if their not werewolves. They still are bound together. If you two die then everyone dies. So stay together. It is said that when the two Lifest powers are combined, then they can do anything, but since you guys haven't had any training, if you can pull this off then that itself is anything." Jess said.
We closed our eyes and concentrated but I really didn't think we could do it. It sounded all crazy to me.
I heard gasps, and opened my eyes, only to gasp myself. Me and Alec we lifting the water, it was shaking but we were holding it! How cool is that?!
"Ok, now let go." John said.
We stopped focusing and the water went back into the glass. Oh my God! No way! I can't believe we just did that!!
"What is going on?!" Alec asked, still confused.
So they explained it to him. Everything starting from when we left. He had the same reaction I did.
"But wait. How am I one of the Lifest? My parents are normal werewolves." he said.
Good question, I thought to him. He smiled at me, and I smiled back.
"Alex is the first Lifest. Her mate or whoever she loves and feels a bond to, would have to have her powers." Zane explains.
He looks at me, and I look down, feeling guilty. I'd caused him to be a freak of nature, he probably hates me now! Great job Alex, I thought to myself.
I'm sorry! I'm so sorry, Alec! Please don't hate me! I'm really sorry! I thought to him.
Sorry?! Hate?! He thought. His eyes widened.
I know I should be more sorry and you have every right to hate me, despise me even. I'm really sorry! I thought.
Alex! Shut up! I don't hate you! I don't despise you! I love you! Nothing in this world could make me even think about hating you! And you don't need to be sorry! I think it's kind of cool, actually. He thought to me.
Really?! Are you sure? Your not mad? I thought to him.
No! I'm ok with it! Why, your not? It'll be ok Alex. He thought to me.
Wow! I really misjudged him the first day! He's so sweet! He's worrying about me!
No, I'm fine with it. I was already a freak and now I'm freakier! I thought
You are (not) a freak. You're you. And that's a beautiful, smart, loving, kind, and brave 17 year old girl. He thought to me.
He really did love me! No one ever said that to me! Not ever, not once, in my 17 years have I heard anything, even remotely close to what he said to me.
He wrapped his arms around me, and I hugged me. I wrapped my arms around him and buried my face into his neck. I breathed in his scent and relaxed into his arms. I wish I could stay there forever but a cough interrupted our moment. We split apart.
"Can I meet my mom and dad? I really want to see them!" I said.
"We don't know how to contact them. They're cloaked using a protective shield me and John made for them. We can't even track them. They said on your 18th birthday, they'd return and take both you and Suzy and explain everything. Everything. Their are parts to their story no one knows, not even I. And I'm a witch, who knows all." Stephanie told us.
Great. So I have to wait 6 more months.
"When is your birthday, by the way?" Alec asked.
"June 18th." I replied.
He nodded. We sat down on a couch and asked prepared to ask all questions. Mary, Jess, Stephanie and John also sat down, knowing this would take a while.
"Why couldn't Suzy and me still be sisters? Why did mom and dad separate us?" I asked, starting off.
"Suzy's just a normal werewolf. She inherited nothing but the werewolf gene, but the rouges want her because she knows something important. Your parents never told us what though." Mary said.
"Wait! The rouges got her?!" Stephanie said.
"Yah. They also got Ty, Lauren, and Jay too." Jesse said.
"Oh great. Just great. This is a disaster!" John said.
"Whats so important about them?" I asked.
"Lauren and Ty are in disguise. They're actually witch and warlock but they're here for your parents. They were sent to this pack to watch Suzy and make sure she didn't develop any powers and Jay is actually Alec's protector, he's also a warlock in disguise. We thought we knew who your mate was, because he'd have to be very strong and intelligent. And Alec is ranked number one strongest Alpha. He's pretty smart and strategic too, but your the brains and he's the muscle." Stephanie explained.
"Wait. How come I didn't know?" he asked.
"They weren't exactly sure that you were my destined mate. I could be anyone but you were the most likely candidate." I told him.
"Thats my, girl! Always one step a head!" Stephanie said, proudly.
"Ok. But it still doesn't explain what they want from Lauren, Ty and Jay." Alec said, not getting it.
"Ty, Lauren, and Jay all report to my mom and dad which means they'd have to know where they are. I bet that's why they kidnapped them. To find out my mom and dads location" I said, or explained.
"No, sweetie. But very good thinking. Jay, Lauren and Ty know the same thing as Suzy. They had to tell someone in case they died. So they trusted their protectors." Mary said.
"Anything else?" I asked.
"Theirs a lot more but your going to have to ask the questions because we aren't allowed to tell you unless you ask." Stephanie said.
"You must ask the right questions too. The ones you really want to know. Your mom and dad will tell you the rest." John added.
"Ok. How come it was kept a secret from me? How come you guys didn't tell me? Don't say it was so I could live a normal life because I know that's not true." I said, sad, now.
"Oh! Sweetie! I'm sorry! We're both sorry! We didn't know it would hurt you." Stephanie said.
"Yah, well your wrong. Just like everything else. You don't know me. No one does. No one cares either." I said, and stood up.
"Honey, don't do this! Don't pull away!" Stephanie begged me.
"Too late. You pulled away first. You've always kept your distance. You never really loved me. No one ever did." I said, and ran.
"Alex!" I heard everyone say, but I ignored them.
I ran like crazy. I ran, and ran, and ran, until I didn't know where I was. It had started raining, but I still ran. The rain and my tears mixed in, with each other. I couldn't take it anymore and sat down.
Everything's a mess now. My whole life is a lie. Everything I thought I knew, I don't know. This is my real life. Not the one I had before. This is me, a Lifest.

I know that was kinda sad but (this) is Alex. (This) is her real nature. You all probably thought she was a good, smart, happy girl. But I told you in the first chapter. She's Emo, because she's broken. She's hurt. She's in pain. And in the next chapter I'll tell you why.
