REI'S POV
Tonight was the night, we were going raid the warehouse that Karou told us and we were gonna get the supplies to help our fellow homeless folk. Rokuro and I hid in the corner of the shadows and then Rokuro said to me.
"Looks like we've got guards outside the entrance."
"I can see that," I spoke with a small smile.
I pressed my fingers on the earpiece that I was wearing I spoke to Shiro.
"Shiro, do you and the other snipers got your eyes on them?"
"Oh yeah, don't worry, we'll make quick work with them once Zen makes his move."
"Right."
3RD PERSON POV
Shiro drew back his arrow and then Zen snuck up behind one of the guards and then he took him out and then Shiro fired his arrow at the other which killed him instantly. Shiro looked around to make sure no one else heard that and he called Rei.
"All right, you guys are in the clear on the outside, we just need to wait for Karou and Koga to do their bit."
"Good work," Juro told him.
Inside the warehouse, Karou got her guns ready and she put the silencers on them so the noise didn't attract attention. Koga spun his blade and he caught the hilt.
"Ready?"
"Always," Karou spoke with a smirk.
Koga and Karou leapt off the railing from the second floor and then they landed on the ground. The guards spotted them and then Karou fired her pistols and Koga used his chain-sickle on the guards and they managed to take them all down. Koga and Karou looked around to make sure there was no one else and then Koga spoke through the earpiece's mic.
"All right, the coast is clear, you can come in now."
"Rokuro and I are heading inside, Shiro, you and Zen keep an eye out."
"Yes Ma'am," Shiro and Zen spoke.
Rei, Rokuro and Juro came into the warehouse and they had their weapons at the ready. Rei looked around and she began to notice this job was becoming way too easy.
"Guys, something doesn't feel right."
"I know, the guards went down way too easy. This would have been tougher if they put up more of a fight."
Rokuro agreed with Rei. As Koga and Rokuro examined the crates, Rei looked at the guards on the ground and when she shifted one of them over, she noticed there was a blank face on it and then she realised something.
"Oh crap!! it's a setup!!" Rei shouted.
Suddenly, the lights came on in the warehouse. Shiro spotted several vans of swat teams and several policemen.
"Everyone!! there's police everywhere and they've got the place surrounded!"
"We know!"
"Now what do we do?" Shiro asked them until he spotted a few of the policemen climb onto the roof he was on.
"Oh shoot!!"
Shiro shouted before he grabbed three arrows and then he fired them at three of the police. They all collapsed onto the ground and the Shiro told Rei.
"Guys, I'm getting attacked up!"
"We can't help you! we're a little busy right now!"
Rei told him before she drew her sword and struck down several policemen. Keiji came in at the right time and then he stabbed a few of the policemen with his swords. Juro looked around and then one of the snipers shot his leg. Juro shouted in pain and then he fell onto his knees.
"Ah!!"
"Juro!!" Rei shouted before she rushed over to him.
"Juro! are you all right?"
"Just a little sore."
Rokuro grabbed one of the policemen with his bare hands and then he snapped his neck.
"Dammit, there's too many of them!"
Koga said as he swung his blades at the policemen. Zen stabbed some of them with his assassin's blades but, it was still useless. Juro looked at Rei and he told him.
"Rei, take the sins and get out of here when you get the chance."
"What? No, I'm not leaving you."
"Rei, my leg is hurt and even if I did come along with you, I would slow you down. Remember what I've taught you, as a leader you have to make the necessary sacrifices."
Rei didn't want to leave Juro but, when she looked Rokuro and Keiji they both nodded their heads. Rei stood up from the ground and then she spoke in the earpiece.
"Shiro, get your butt here into the warehouse and use your smoke bombs, we're gonna need a distraction."
"Understood."
Shiro told them before he grabbed one of his smoke bombs and tear gas bombs and then he threw two smoke bombs into the warehouse and he also threw two tear gas bombs at the policemen on the outside of the warehouse. The police screamed in pain as the gas stung their eyes while the rest were coughing in the smoke bomb.
"Hurry! get to the back exit now!!"
Keiji shouted and then Rei looked at Juro one last time and then she smiled sadly.
"Thank you, for everything."
Juro smiled back at her before she ran off to catch up with the others. Juro slowly and carefully stood up from the ground and then he got one of his dynamites. He lit it up and then he smirked at the policemen.
"I've always wanted to go out with a bang."
Juro tossed the dynamite at a nearby gas tank and then it exploded, killing him and the policemen and destroying the warehouse. Rei and the other sins looked at the burning warehouse and then Rei shouted.
"Juro!!!"
Shiro caught up with the others and he was shocked when he saw what happened.
"I knew that old man was crazy but, to go out with a bang? I didn't think it actually happen."
"But it did..."
Rei spoke as she lowered her head in despair. Rokuro placed his hand on her shoulder and he said to her.
"Rei, we'll grieve for our leader later but for now, we need to get out of here before the police find out we're still alive."
"Right..."
Rei mumbled before she and the rest of the sins ran off.
Once the sins made their escape, they got to one of the abandoned buildings in Kyoto and then they hid in the shadows as the police searched for them.
REI'S POV
We panted in exhaustion after making our escape and then Rokuro looked out of the window and he told us.
"I think we lost them, for now anyway."
"Karou, how did you not know this was a trap set by the police?!" Zen shouted angrily.
"I didn't know it was the police at the club when they mentioned the warehouse! how was I supposed to know?!"
"Because of you, Juro is dead!"
"ENOUGH!!" I yelled at the sins. "Its nobody's fault that Juro was killed, he chose to stay behind so we can make our escape even if that meant he had to sacrafise himself to do so."
I told the others and they lowered their heads sadly.
"Boss lady is right," Koga told us before he continued. "This is not the time to be bickering, we should be finding another place to hide until the dust settles."
I nodded my head in agreement and then Karou asked us.
"But, where can we hide? there's no way we're heading back the hideout, that's the first place they'll look."
"Luckily, we've got some friends here in Kyoto, if we can find them, they will be more than happy to take us in."
"Right, let's get going," Keiji told us before we left the abandoned house to find another hideout.
We stuck to the shadows for a while and we got to Honno-Ji temple. Shiro peaked his head out of the shrubs of the trees and he told us.
"All clear."
We came out of hiding and then Zen asked me.
"Why are we near Honno-Ji temple? shouldn't we be heading into the city to look for our friends?"
"Normally I would have said yes but, after tonight's events, there's no way that's happening. With the police skulking about we can't take the chance on being seen."
Suddenly, we heard people approaching and then I said to the others.
"Hide!"
We went into hiding and then we saw two people approach the temple. Suddenly, an idea popped into my head and then I looked at Koga and I told him.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"Oh yeah, time to rob some people."
Koga spoke with a smirk on his face while rubbing his hands and having an evil smirk on his face. The sins and I got into position and then with Karou, we walked towards the two people.
"It's such a nice out, isn't Karou," I casually commented until the two people turned to look at us.
"It certainly is a peaceful night out, in fact, it's so nice..." Karou smirked at the two people before we both drew our pistols at them. "It's the perfect night for a little night robbery, don't you think?"
"Oh yeah," I spoke with a smirk on my face.
Four eyes and the brown-haired girl looked at us in fear and then they both raised their hands.
"Please don't hurt us!" The girls begged us.
"You don't have to do this, can't we just talk about it."
"Honey, you're in no position to be negotiating, we've got you outnumbered and surrounded," I told them as the other sins appeared from the shadows.
Shiro held his hunter's knife near four eyes' neck while Zen held his assassin's blades near the woman's neck.
"Koga, Rokuro, search them and find anything valuable on them," I commanded them.
"Yes, Ma'am."
"Keiji, keep an eye out for the police."
Keiji turned his back towards us as he kept an eye out for the police while we continued our little robbery. However, before we could steal anything valuable from them, the sky darkened and then it started raining. We were confused by this and then Karou frowned.
"Oh great, so much for a peaceful night, now my hair is gonna get ruined."
"Karou, there are more important things going on right now aside from your stupid looks."
Karou frowned at me and she glared at me.
"Excuse me, Boss lady, you have no idea how hard it is for a woman like me to make myself look good."
"You're right I don't because I spend more time building up some muscle than wearing makeup and revealing clothes for men!"
"Ah! why you-"
Her sentence was cut off when lighting struck the stone monument, shattering it to pieces. We were shocked by this and then Zen shouted.
"Okay, that did not look like your natural lighting!"
"Boss, I've got a bad feeling about this," Koga told us.
"Yeah me too," I spoke before frowning. "Dammit, I guess I've got no choice but to end this quickly. Time to get rid of the eyewitnesses."
I pointed my pistol at the girl first, but before I could pull the trigger the world around me started to spin and then Rokuro shouted.
"Rei! what's happening?!"
"I don't know!" I shouted back before blacking out.
