Nani kissed her baby sister all over her face before facing her towards her.
"You never have to go with him again. I promise", Nani says smiling
"Does this mean I can call you mommy now?", Neriah asks shyly
"You can call me whatever your little hearts desires", Nani says kissing her again
"I love you so much. We are going to get through this even if it's just us alone.", Nani says sitting her on the couch
"Stay here and I'll be right back", Nani says
"Okay mommy", Neriah says placing her thumb in her mouth
Nani looks back at her baby before rushing out the door and to Eris' house only for him to be gone.
"Fuck!", she says sliding down the door that the one thing she wanted in life seemed to slip between her fingers
She cries and places her hand on her belly wishing for a miracle.
"What are you doing?", Eris asks coming around the house from the back
"Looking for you", she says looking up at him through her tears
"Congratulations on your pregnancy", he says offering her a fake smile
"Eris", she starts
"No. I'll be leaving soon. Leaving for New York next week. I won't break up your marriage anymore than I already have", he says shaking his head
"But Eris...", She tries
"You know for a second. I was okay with the baby. Even if it was his. I was willing to help you raise it as long as you left him. As long as you came with me, but I can't do that Nani. I can't be selfish", he says turning to leave
"It's your baby Eris", she screams out
"What?", he asks
"It's your baby. If I tell you everything promise to stay calm", she says wiping her eyes
"Tell me", he said no promising anything
So she tells him everything from what Dallas did to her to the slaps and to the manipulation him and her daddy did to try to get her to abort the baby.
"Baby I'm so sorry. I should have never left you here", he says pulling her to him
"No Eris. It took all that happening for me to realize I loved you and to get the confidence to right my wrongs", she says hugging him
"I'm sorry Nani. Leave with me?", he asks hopefully
"Only if you accept Neriah", She says looking up at him
"Already did. Anybody with eyes can see that you love that little girl to death. I couldn't help but love her too", he says like it was nothing
"Okay. We're going with you", She says taking his hand and pulling him back towards her house
They enter and he picks up Neriah before hugging both of them to himself.
"I'm sorry", he says to both of them
"I will never let anything else happen to you. Any of you", he says placing one hand securely around Neriah while the other rubs her belly.
"Thank you God. For everything", Nani says looking up
