Mahir's POV
We came home. That ice cream incidence.
I know these memories will be cherished forever in my life whether I'll have her with me as what I want her to be or not. Her innocence and her sweetness.. It's just breathtaking. Now after having our dinner we all were behaving as if there's nothing tomorrow.
"Okay. Di. Let's sleep. I'm too tired " said surbhi
" What... You all are sleeping so early " di asked
" What. It's 11 Neeti. It's much late okay. Not good for your health " said jiju and I and Surbhi looked at each other suppressing our laughter.
"Yeah. It's late right. Sleep everyone " said di looking at all of us with a frown.
" Yeah di. Good night. I'm too going to my home now " I told
" What. It's too late.. You stay here only " told jiju
" Yeah.. Yeah.. Mahir.. Jiju is right. " said surbhi
" Em.. Okay. Fine" I replied.
I too knew that I'm here only but it's fun.
"Fine. Good night everyone " Wished di and went to her room without saying anything.
As soon as she went away we all three started giggling silently.
" Thankyou Mahir. You helped a lot" said jiju
"No formalities jiju. You both are just like divya di and Raj jiju to me.." I told
"Okay.. Fine. I'm going to her. She'll act as if sleeping but I know Neeti will not sleep till it's 12!! You both take care of everything " jiju said giggling
" Okay. Good night and don't sleep. Wake up at 5 sharp" Surbhi reminded
"Okay. Madam" said jiju and went.
"Hmm.. So.. Now" I asked
"Now... Decoration time " she announced
" Yeah. Wait " I said and dialed a number on my phone
" Yeah. All set. Come inside " I commanded
" What.. Mahir" asked Surbhi
"Have some patience Surbhi " I told and went towards main door opening it with no noise
" Come inside very silently " I said
I ordered my home staff to come with ready balloons and decorative items!
" When did you do this" asked Surbhi shocked
"When you were in your room getting freshened up" I said smirking
" You're great " she squeaked and hugged me
What!! She hugged me. What a sudden shock.
I didn't know how to react but I didn't think twice and hugged her back.
Surbhi may be realized her sudden action so she moved back !!
"Emm...whe..where this decoration "I asked her so that she don't feel awkward
" Yeah.. Firstly outside her room and in dining " she said
Soon very silently all the decorations were done. Outside Di's room all the balloons were hung. It looked great.
Then every inch of dining was decorated with balloons.
NEETI.. These foil ballons were hung on the wall. Silver and golden Balloons with ribbons were stick on ceiling.
Centre table was decorated with her favorite pink roses and then came the two tier chocolate cake.
Now the floor was covered fully with balloons and balloons everywhere.
This was not all my idea. Surbhi's contribution was more. After all girls are best in this field.
I was spreading the rose leaves from basket on the table and suddenly I turned with the basket and Surbhi was standing there.
I collided with her and the basket flew in air while the rose petals fell on us.
A total cliche scene from movies!! But it was happening!!
And I was looking at Surbhi who was looking at me without a blink.
For sometime I even forgot that there is anything else or any work to do...what I could see was only that angel in front of me.
I knocked my senses when Surbhi mumbled a sorry.
"Hey.. not your mistake. I turned without looking... but see the table is decorated itself" I said and she nodded.
Some rose petals were still on her hairs & I don't know what came in my mind.. I picked them out of her head slowly and Surbhi didn't deny..she closed her eyes.
When she opened her eyes I was standing there smiling.
"Decorations done madam " I said
"Perfect. It's Done" said Surbhi.
"Wow... See.. You did this all" I told
After all it was her idea.
"Mahir. A change in sentence. Wow.. See.. We did this all" she whispered
"Yeah. We did this all" I smiled
" Wow.. You both. Is this our dining " Asked jiju coming
" Yeah.. Jiju... Our dining " chuckled Surbhi
" You both together did magic guys. Thankyou so much" Thanked jiju
" jiju... Come on. She's not only yours. She was mine before you came okay " said Surbhi smirking
" She's mad" I and jiju mocked in unison
"Shh.. Slow. She'll wake up. It's... 5. She'll wake up after two hour "said Surbhi
" Yeah..okay...you both go and rest. I'll wake up for 2 hours "said jiju.
" I'm not sleepy at all" this time I and Surbhi said in unison.
"Okay fine. "said jiju
" jiju. What you are gifting her" asked Surbhi
"See. This one" said jiju showing us a box.
I smiled at this.. Yeah.. I know it from long because after dinner I and jiju were talking about the same when suddenly I got this idea.
" Platinum necklace with a heart at the center and a red rose of ruby" Whispered Surbhi exclaiming
" Yeah" said jiju
"It's great.. Wow.. What an idea jiju" said Surbhi
"That wasn't my idea. It's Mahir's idea" Revealed jiju
"What. It's... Your idea... You didn't tell me. " said Surbhi frowning
" Because I wanted you to see it " I told smiling
" Wow.. My company is having a good effect on you " she said laughing
Yes surbhi. Your company is having a very very good effect on me.
" Mahir. In which world" asked jiju
"No.. Nothing. Come let's make breakfast " I said
" What. You know cooking " Surbhi exclaimed
" I... I.. Know somewhat "I told
" Woww.. Great. Come "said jiju and we all went to kitchen
" Okay.. Guys very slowly please " Warned Surbhi
We all made some healthy sandwiches and chocolate pancakes for her. This was totally Surbhi's idea.
" What to serve with this hot chocolate pancakes " I asked Surbhi
" Vanilla ice cream " said Surbhi
Ice Cream...
This word was enough for both of us to remember the ice cream incidence.
" Oh hello.. You both. In which world you both are dreaming. " Asked jiju
" No.. Nothing " Surbhi replied
" Yeah . nothing... " I said and turned towards Surbhi.
" Surbhi... Ms.. Moustaches " I smirked
" And you... Whom.. Mr. Moustaches" Mocked Surbhi and we both smiled
"Okay. Surbhi. It's seven.. Her alarm is going to ring anytime. Everything ready "asked jiju
"Yeah jiju. All ready. Mahir... Come" said Surbhi
We all went upstairs and we were seeing everything from there.
Di's alarm rang and we listened the opening of the door.
As soon as the door opened sparkles and rose petals fall on her.
She was shocked.. And then she turned and moved outside of her room. Her face was delighted.
"Happppyyy bdaaayyyy" we all came and screamed.
"Ohh my god. You all remembered " di said
" How can we forget your bday" asked Surbhi
"Mahir. You too were with them in their plan" Aksed di and I nodded scratching the back on my neck.
"A very happy bday di. Thankyou so much for making me feel home here. You've made me feel like family. Thankyou so much" I wished
" Mahir. You are family and next time don't say thank you okay I must say thank you... To You all... Love you all.. I thought that you forgot my bday" said di and hugged me
"Awww..my di.." giggled Surbhi and hugged her
"Ehmm... Ehmm.. Happy bday wifey" said jiju
I and Surbhi looked at each other and laughed silently.
"Thankyou " said di.
" Okay now... Surbhi... Make di ready and then blind fold her and come outside " I said and she went inside.
After half an hour di was there ready with blindfold.
" Come Neeti" said jiju and then we took her to drawing room.
"Ready.. 3..2...1..go" Surbhi announced happily and removed the blindfold.
"Happppyyy bday " we all screamed again .
Di looked shocked everywhere. Her face was having that shocked expression.
" Woww.. It's beautiful " Exclaimed di
" Indeed everything here is beautiful " I whispered looking at Surbhi.
She was looking breathtaking even in her simple night shirt also.. She didn't sleep since night but her was still glowing!
" Mahir..I'm talking about the decorations " di told.
Shit!! Am I caught!!
" Yeah di... I'm saying about decorations only " I said covering myself up
" Really.... Well we will think and talk about it later on bro" di smirked
What did she mean.
"Okay...so who's idea it was of decorations " asked di
" We all" said Surbhi
"Di.. Now cut the cake" I told and she looked at me with smirk...
Why she's passing me such looks. Have I done anything.
She cut the cake and I gave her my gift.
"This is for you di. This is laughing Buddha.. The sign of happiness and joy.. And that's what I pray for you. Only Happiness and laughter di. "I wished
" It's so beautiful Mahir. Thankyou so very much lil brother " di grinned and ruffled my hair.
" Di.. Now shall I. " Asked Surbhi and I looked at her and smiled
" Mahir.. Shall she " Di again smirked...
Why di is behaving all different since morning.
" Yeah.. Sure why not "I told
" Happy bday..and see I didn't get more good than this" Surbhi frowned
Di opened the box and smiled.
"You always know what I want right. Love you baby sis... And these bookmarks and roses and this greeting is the love.. Thankyou so much " exclaimed di
" Actually this greeting is not my idea" She told
" Yeah... And this laughing Buddha is not my idea" I chuckled
"I know this.. This Buddha might have been Surbhi's idea and.. This greeting is made by you both right "said di looking at me and Surbhi and we both nodded
" You all made by bday most memorable one by this all" said di hugging both of us.
"Now.. Ladies and gentlemen may I " jiju asked and we all laughed
"My lady. That's for you" said jiju bending on his knee and giving her the red rose.
"How romantic " exclaimed Surbhi
I wish I could do the same one day... Or more than that for you.
" Aneer thankyou so much...I love you " said di
" Ewww... Don't start here " Surbhi made a face and I laughed at her antiques
" Madam.. When your turn will come,then say" jiju smirked and the next I know was Surbhi all red.
"I.. I.. I'll be.. Back in... Minutes " said Surbhi running towards her room and we started laughing .
"Why are you laughing Mahir" asked jiju
"Emm..no nothing" I replied
"Yeah..yeah...nothing " di said smiling at me.
I excused myself and went in the garden.
The way she ran away all red due to shyness...
How much I want to be with you like this...How much I want to celebrate with you like this...
I hope I'll be able to make this possible...
But I don't want to ruin this friendship.. because for you... I'm your friend...
But how to tell you Surbhi that You've become My life..
