Surbhi's POV
We were on shopping togather. I was feeling damn excited. We went to the mall and the first thing I did was to enter men's section. Yeah.. for buying casuals for The Mahir Maheshwari.
It takes a long time for me to shop for any thing and I am sure Mahir have understood that why di and jiju were saying him all the best.
But I was happy buying clothes for him.
After selecting some for him I told him to try on them. But he denied saying that I've chosen them and my choice is always best.
Yeah! My choice is best this time also Mahir. It's just if I could say you.
Thoughts aside Surbhi.
I saw many people looking at us in awe.
Thank god Mahir didn't notice them otherwise it would have been the most awkward situation for me. After buying his clothes we went to girls section. Now it was my shopping time.
I was looking at many dresses..but I'm very choosy when it comes to my clothes. I like something decent and sober yet elegant and beautiful..so this is something which takes time to choose. Finally after searching for three freaking hours I got some good pieces. Mahir was irritated like hell I know.
"Why are you giggling now" he asked as we moved towards bill counter.
"No..nothing. Just thinking that next time you will never come on a shopping with me right" I asked and laughed
"I'll...but never alone with you because you forget that there was a man that came with you to give you company..so next time I'll bring someone who'll give me company" he frowned
"Oops..sorry." I chuckled
"No problem at all Miss. Now if you're done with your shopping shall we proceed. I'm really very hungry surbhi. " he whined and I laughed at his a
We went to the bill counter. I was taking out my credit card when he stopped me.
"Surbhi. Wait. I'll pay" he said.
"What. No..not at all. I'll prefer paying mine" I replied
Yeah!! I don't like if someone pays for my clothes and that too Mahir right now. It..it looks much awkward and on the top of all I'm an independent girl. I'll prefer being independent...
"Arey! Its okay. I would like to pay Surbhi " he told
"No. Mahir. please. Try and understand. I can't right now. I don't feel good please" I replied
"Okay fine..but I'll pay for...umm..yeah this dress which I guess is the best from my point of view and now no denial pleaseee" He pleaded
"Emm..okay fine." I said
"Yayy. " he grinned
Why he's being so happy.
After paying the bill we went to " Hotel Chocolat " for our appetite.
" What will you have"asked Mahir and I looked at the menu.
"Eggless Honey and fruit flapjack and breakfast tea" I said
"Great. Same choice " he said loudly and everyone looked at us.
I glared at him
" Oops. Sorry " he said and I chuckled
Soon he came after placing the order.
" So enjoyed the day" I asked
"Very very much " he said joining his hands.
Sarcasm here didn't go unnoticed by me.
" Okay. Mahir. Now I want a big favor from you " I told
"I'll not give favors.. You are my best friend and no favors in friends. Only orders" he stated
Is this the Mahir...I firstly met?
Soon our orders also came.
"Teaaa" I sqeeked
"Yeah but not as our chai" he said and no doubt in that.
"Yeah so listen. Tomorrow is di's bday and I want something special for her.. So some ideas " I asked
" You are much creative madam... So you say " he told
" I've an idea...Firstly let her sleep well.. And we'll wake up early. I'll make her favorite breakfast for her. No one will wish her till tomorrow.. I'll say this to jiju also. You've to do one thing. Two tire cake is your responsibility. And she loves it when jiju cooks.. So jiju will make her favorite breakfast with me. Then whole day for her. Some good movie at home with all of us and then we both will arrange a candle light dinner for them in the garden outside with some soft and slow music on which she can dance easily " I explained completing
" Wow.. Great. I'll take care of the Cake. Don't worry" he told
" Yeah... Now I'm thinking about gift... What to give her. " I said
" yeah.. Even I'm " he asked
"See...you can give her a laughing Buddha. You know she'll love it. Laughing Buddha is the sign of smile and laughter.. What better can you gift her" I suggested
"wow... Excellent. How great you think " he said and I laughed
" Thankyou thankyou " I replied
" Okay what you'll gift then. I'm sure you've given your gifting idea to me" he told raising his eyebrow.
"Emm..you always read me... But It's fine... I'm going to gift her latest set of some good novels and books that she'll love to read" I said
"Yeah.. And one more thing add in that.. " he told
" What" I asked
" Your handmade greetings.. She'll love it " he suggested
" Hey.. Yeah.. She loves such things.. Thankyou so much Maahir" I thanked
" That's not fare Surbhi. You make rules of no thankyou and sorry and then you break them" he complained
"Oh yeah. Your welcome then" I told and laughed
Soon we finished our brunch while talking about the planning.
"Okay. Come then. Let's buy the gifts from here itself " he said
" Yeah. Just let me call jiju and tell him our plan" I told and called jiju and he was of course in.
Soon we brought a sweet middle sized laughing Buddha which was very very beautiful and a set of her favorite books and there only we both prepared a small greeting for her with her photos.
"It's.. It's beautiful Surbhi " he said
" Yeah...it would've been impossible without your help" I said
" Somebody said me every impossible says I'm possible " he smirked and I punched his head with my hand.
" What to do with you " I huffed
" As you wish" he smirked and I looked away as I know I'm blushing !
"Have you ordered cake" I asked
"yeah. Two tire.. Eggless chocolate cake." he said
" Oh no. But... What if di comes to know if it comes home before we reach" I asked
" No worries when Mahir is here. I've given address to my home staff and they'll come with cake at morning 5. When di will be asleep.. And I've said him to call me instead of ringing the bell. So problem sorted Ms. Surbhi " he explained
" Definitely. Today I'm thinking if you are the same Mahir Maheshawari whom I met first.. You know sometimes I think that how can I fa....be friend with you " I said and covered myself from saying the last sentence.
What was I going to say.
How have I fallen for you. Really Surbhi.
Idiot. What were you going to blabber. Thank God you saved me.
" Yeah.. Yeah.. Because you saw that Mahir since first day that no one else could see..because everyone saw me from here " he said touching his mind.
" But you saw me from here and here "he said pointing towards my eyes and then heart!!
I smiled at his words.
Yes.. I saw his eyes. Those dark brown orbs.. Which can melt anyone like chocolate.
" Now shall we proceed. 8 now" I told and he nodded
"Surbhi. You know what" he asked & I hummed.
" You are the first girl other than mom and Divya di who's sitting in the front seat of my car" he told
I looked at him in shock.
I'm... Am I really that.. Special.
Shut up Surbhi.. You are thinking over. He's just stating it. Nothing else.
"Priya? " I asked
" No. Not even her. She always took back seat,I don't know why " he replied and I nodded.
What can I say. Should I ask him why. No
Not now. Okay shut up Surbhi.
"Hey. Ice cream. Let's eat naa please "I said
" Are you a kid surbhi " he asked
" What.. I want to eat it " I whined
" No.. Surbhi we're getting late. Di told before 9 and it's 8:45 already and it will take 20-25 minutes in ride only" he said
"so what. It's just 10 minutes " I pleaded
" No means no. Not right now" he replied
"I Want ICECREAM " I shouted
" Surbhi. Shut up.. You're behaving like a pregnant lady " he muttered
What. What did he said
" What" I snapped
"I... I mean.. Why is it so important to eat right now. Why are you craving for it so much" he asked
"So it doesn't mean you'll say anything whatever comes in your mouth Mahir" I said irritated.
" You were behaving like that" he replied
" Fine. I don't want to eat it and I'll not say anything what I want to you ever " I frowned turning towards the window and closing my eyes.
I don't know in which world I was when there was a knock on the door of the car of my side.
I looked up and saw Mahir standing there...with...
Two cones of ice cream.
My heart fluttered at this... But I'll not react.
I'm angry on him..
Okay I'm not but At least I'll show this to him.
He again knocked on the door and I turned towards another side and he came and sat on his seat.
"Now what. I'm sorry okay. I've bought you Ice cream. Now eat it before it melts " he said
" I told you that I don't want anything "I stated
" Surbhi. It's melting... Take it right now " he said in a bit serious tone
" I Will Not Take It. Do Whatever You Want To Do" I said emphasizing on each word.
"Surbhi.. Don't Judge My Patience." he said pressing every wordw which he spoke a little long.
"I Am Judging Your Patience. What Will You Do" I mimicked him.
The next moment, I know was that he shoved the ice cream in my mouth
"Whatt" I screamed and I've to take the bite from the ice cream.
No offense.. It was yummy..and I lost here... So now when I've lost the battle of ice cream so what to wait for.
I snatched the ice cream from him and started eating it.
"Next time don't challenge me.. And on the top of it.. Take good classes for mimicking . Your mimicry sucks" he mocked while eating his ice cream.
"Ice Cream is good " I replied totally Ignoring his remarks
" You'll need a Hearing machine before 60s" he said
"Excuse me mister.. I listened to what you said okay "I frowned
" That I too know Surbhi. I just wanted to listen it from your mouth " he smirked
" Fine. Whatever. " I muttered
" Surbhi ice cream on your face" he told
"Where "I asked
" Here" he said pointing on my upper lips
"Here " I asked again...
And the next thing he did was showing me the mirror of the car to look.
And... he was laughing badly.
How can I expect him to be decent right now!!!!
" There was nothing on your face... And your hands were spoiled from the cream of the ice cream and I took advantage of this by saying that and see.. You yourself made your white moustaches... 60s Surbhi " he mocked and laughed
" Wait you... " I yelled
" Hey.. Hey.. Wait.. Want to make moustaches make it.. But don't ruin my tuxedo please " he said
" I'll make them" I announced happily and the next I know was he came a Little closer to me...
This was enough to make my heart beat increase.
He closed his eyes.
"You can make me look in my 60s" he said smiling.
How can I not smile at these gestures...
Everyday he's making me smile by these small reasons. How could I resist myself from loving him more and more.
I carefully made his white moustaches... without ruining his dear tuxedo !
And then we both laughed like idiots.
Soon we were at home. We ate dinner.
He told di and jiju that how much he tolerated me whole day and that shopping with me is a disaster.
Well I know it.
But I can't deny this is going to be one of the best day of my Life.
The first day of outing with Mahir.
