"Papé! Papé! Shouted a little boy. P-PAPÉ!" the little boy ran and ran searching for his father, yelling for him and crying out in the forest.
But the boy wasn't alone out there
suddenly a vicious growl came from behind the small child.
A coyote had heard the boy crying and snuck up on him.
Although a coyote would normal avoid a human, a small child was an easy meal.
"No..." the boy looked at the crazed animal with fear and tears in his eyes.
The animal stared at him with a hungry look in its eyes getting ready to pounce on it's newly found prey.
It suddenly pounced and the boy screamed in fear as he knew his life was over with.
"AHHH!-" Illinois sat up in his bed. His heart pounding in his rib cage.
"Illi?! Illi are you okay?!" Indiana panics as he races into his brothers room.
"I-I had another nightmare... about then..." he whispered.
"Oh illi..." Indiana went over to his once again crying brother and embraced him in a hug.
The state gently hugs him back and eventually pulls away.
*sigh* well i don't see no point n' going back to sleep" the state mumbles rubbing his eyes
"Well it's about 7:00 AM right so you can join me for breakfast if you'd want to, but we need to hurry as dad is having a family reunion with the states and counties today, and I need to help make dinner," Indiana says.
"Sure, I'd like that Illinois said walking out of his room with Indy.

"Su-San are you ready to leave?" Finland shouts from the kitchen.
"Ja hon I'm ready" Sweden replies in a thick accent
"Oh I can't wait to see our grandchildren!" The smaller man says jumping up and down from where he was standing. Though he technically was a grandpa/grandma he had the excitement of a 10 year old on Christmas morning.
Berwald smiles at his husband before motioning over to him that he was heading out to the car.
"Alright then!" Tino replies following the man.
~Somewhere over the rainbow~
"Come on Leilani we have to clean up your room before grandpa and grandma get here" Alfred says to the child.
"But it's soooo boring!" The small personification whines.
"Now Leilani that's not a nice way to act now is it?" Alfred says sternly
The girl pouts and slightly shakes her head.
"What was that? I couldn't quite hear you young lady"
*sigh* it's not very nice at all" she replies
"Well I'm glad we got that figured out" Alfred says to his daughter.
Alfred gets off the floor getting ready to go to kitchen to clean up.
"Oh and remember if you don't clean up your room Santa won't come!"
"But it's not even Christmas yet!" Leilani cries
"Doesn't mean he won't notice your dirty room over the course of the year!" Alfred says leaving the girl's dirty room.
Thankfully that one statement did the trick as when the next time Alfred came to check on Leilani her room was about half as bad as it originally was
"Great job sweetie! Alfred says walking by with a load of laundry
"Thanks mama!" Leilani shouts back
Alfred gives a small chuckle before dumping the dirty clothing down the laundry shoot.
"Alrighty I think we're done here... now I can finally get dressed.." Alfred mumbles.

Alfred was now in a classic red and black plaid shirt with cuffed sleeves and comfy skinny jeans with ripped holes at the knees.
"Good looking there mister" Alfred says pointing to himself in the mirror
"Who are you talking to mama?" Asks Leilani as she entered the room.
"Oh no one dear!" Alfred says rubbing the back of his neck
"Oh, well grandma and grandpa are here" she says
"Ah well they got here just in time" Alfred says picking up Hawaii
Alfred walks down the spiraling staircase and walked up to the front door.
"Grandma!" Hawaii shouts when she saw Finland
"Hi there Leilani!" He says hugging her
"Come on in" Alfred says inviting his parents inside.
Soon after Berwald and Tino came Elijah and Alexander arrived about 20 minutes later.
Indiana's and Illinois' POV.
Elijah pulled his car onto the long gravel drive way before spotting a barn like house and pulling into the connected garage.
"Hey.. Alex are you going to be okay?" Elijah asks his older brother
"Um, I'll try to be for the most part" he replies
Elijah gave a small nod before climbing out of the car with Alex doing the same.
They walked through the front door seeing Sweden playing with Hawaii and seeing Finland and America talking on the couch.
"Hey dad!" Elijah says
Alfred looks over and smiles back at Elijah before looking worriedly at Alex who had tear stains on his cheeks and red puffy eyes.
"...He had another nightmare" Elijah says
Alex nodded solemnly at his brother's response sniffling a bit
Alfred only nodded giving a sad smile towards Illinois.
"Another nightmare? How long has he had them?" Finland asks worriedly
*sigh* "for as long as I know but from what Elijah says ever since The French and Indian War.." Alfred replies.
"Oh.." The smaller man says
"But anyway we should get started with dinner as the states and the invited countries will be arriving soon" Alfred says standing up
"Oh is it time to start cooking yet?" Alex asked from the kitchen
"You betcha now come on I want you to make the baked beans Alex"
"Nice!" Illinois responds
Just before they got started the doorbell rung multiple times.
"I'll get it! Elijah says running towards the door.
As he opened it saw Quebec and Ontario bickering towards each other and Canada facepalming.
"Hello!" Indiana shouts at the two bickering provinces
"Huh? Oh hey Indy!" Ontario shouts back
"Hello brother" Quebec calmly replies
"Hey Uncle C! Where are the rest of em?"
"Eh? Oh well they will be arriving later than expected" he says.
"What a shame, but come on in we're just starting dinner!"
The three walk in and Elijah shuts the door behind them.
"I can't wait for everyone to arrive! We haven't had a reunion like this in forever!"
But what poor Indiana didnt know is that The Frog of Europe would be there...
