Wooooo! 22 chapters!

Alex's POV (Still)

If you see these () around a word, they mean the same thing as when a word is in italics. They're just emphasizing it. Thx

We went outside and there was a parking lot at the back of the house. It held all of the cars, which was cool. We were taking Alec's and Brendan's car. I got into the passenger Suzy into the the middle seat and buckled her in. We split up, Alec, me, Suzy, Pam, and Jay, in Alec's car and Brendan, Claire, Oscar, Jake, and Pen, in Brendan's car. We all got in. I was about to sear in the passenger seat, when Pam called out.

"I call shot gun!" she yelled.

I laughed and held the door open for her. She got in, happy. I laughed again.

"Pam! Come on! Let Alex sit their!" Alec interjected.

I nudged him in the ribs, when I saw Pam's guilty face. He rubbed his ribs, and looked at me astonished.

"It's ok, Pam. I don't mind at all. Your brother just wants me for himself." I told her, loudly.

Alec sent me a surprised look, as everyone in our group laughed. I smiled at him.

"Isn't that right Alec?" I said, playing a little.

"So? What if it is?" he said, hotly as he got into the car.

Everyone laughed again before getting into their assigned cars. I smiled, happy that I fit in.

I sat with Suzy and talked to her. She's so cute! I keep thinking. I know I've said that a lot but it's true. She's sweet too.

"What did Alex do when she left me?" Suzy asked, using me in third person.

I remembered this mornings events in Alec's room and blushed, deep red. Alec took at me through the rear view mirror, and I blushed deeper and looked away.

"I was talking to Alec about something." I told her, not giving any details.

Yah, talking, Alec thought to me.

It scared and startled me, I jumped and let out a little squeak. I looked around, hoping no one noticed. Good, they didn't.

Shut up, I thought back, blushing.

I definitely want to (talk) to you some more, he thought to me.

I've got to learn how to block, I thought.

He frowned at this, and pulled into Sunny Dale Daycare. I unbuckled Suzy and picked her up, and carried her out. Alec got out of the car and went with me.

"You should stay in the car with Pam and Jay." I told him.

"No, I'm suppose to make sure that they all get to school, since I'm the leader of this group, and Alpha. That's why I didn't just tell Brendan to drop them off." he explained.

We went in and the little kids all looked at us, with awe on their faces. They were all really tiny and really cute! We went into Suzy's class and the teacher came up.

"Hello, Suzy!" she said, happily.

"Hi." Suzy said, shyly.

I smiled at her, and put her down. She went over to play with her friends. I smiled at her, and she waved good bye.

"You two have such a lovely daughter! She's so sweet! She always listens and never gives us any trouble!" the teacher said.

Wait, what?! Daughter?!

"Wait, she's not our daughter." Me and Alec said in sync.

"Oh! I'm so sorry! She just looks a lot like you." the teacher apologized.

"No, she's my sister, and this is my boyfriend." I explained. Alec gave me a weird look.

"Oh! Sorry! She could be your daughter, though. She's just as pretty." the teacher complimented.

I blushed. I'm not use to compliment. I don't get many. Not even when I was a kid. My mom and dad always said, that's nice sweetie, not go play, or honey, I'm busy but it looks good. They were all empty.

As we left, I asked Alec, a question.

"Do me and and Suzy look that a like." I asked him.

"Yah, she does look like your daughter." he answered, honestly.

We got into the car and Alec started driving again. We sat in silence for a while.

Why did you say she was your sister and I was your boyfriend? Alec asked, in my head.

I jumped startled, and squeaked. No one noticed, good.

Stop that! It freaks me out! I'm starting to think she is my sister, we look a like, our parents lied to us about the same thing, and she and I have the same photo. And what are you if your not my boyfriend. I told him, in my head.

I thought we were friends, he commented.

(Friends) don't do what you we did this morning. Nope, your my boyfriend. I told him.

Hmm. I like that. I'm yours, and your mine. He thought back.

When did I say I was yours. I thought, teasingly.

We'll see about that, he thought back.

We got to the elementary school and Jay, me, and Alec got out. I asked Pam if she wanted to come but she declined.

"Why are you coming?" he asked me.

"I'm Female Alpha. I have to stick by my Alpha." I said, looking at him. He gave me a surprised look.

The elementary kids also looked at us. Jay was in 5th grade so we went their. When we got their Jay went to his seat and put his backpack down. The teacher came up again.

"Hi! I'm Mrs. Sky! You must be Jay's parents! It's nice to meet you!" she said.

Why does everyone think that?! Do we really look that old?!

Well I guess Jay did look like Alec. He had the same hair color and the eye color but not the same eyes, Jay's eyes had little gold flecks in them, if you look close enough.

"We're not his parents." we said together.

"Oh! Sorry! He sure looks like you!" she said, to Alec.

"I'm his cousin, and this is my girlfriend." he explained.

"Oh! Sorry for the confusion." she apologized.

I walked over to Jay, with Alec right behind me. He looked at me intently wondering what I was going to say.

"Jay, you know the drill right? Meet us out in the carpool lane." I told him, he nodded.

"Good kid." Alec said, messing his hair up.

I picked up a weird sound. My senses had heightened along with my height and my speed, all my werewolf traits were coming back.

It sounded like a growl, a wolf growl. A rouges maybe. They were somewhere here. I exchanged a look with Alec. He had also heard it. I looked at Jay and he too had heard it.

"New plan. We'll come get you from the office a little earlier." I edited the plan, a little.

"Try to stay with a lot of people ok? And warn the pack." Alec said.

"Ok, will you pick up the others too?" he asked.

"No, but I'll contact all the leaders and tell them to pick you guys up a little early." Alec told him.

We all agreed. It's a good thing that all the 5th graders and up were supplied with cellphones. We told Jay to contact us if anything went wrong, he slipped his cellphone in his pocket.

Normally, I'm not one to break rules or let anyone else break rules, but this isn't a normal situation. So I let him. We left school in a hurry.

We got into the car and Alex sped up. We needed to tell everyone to be careful and pick up the kids early.

"Guys what's wrong? You walked out of Jay's school with horror." Pam asked and informed.

"There might be rouges at Jay's school. We need to pick everyone up early and announced a public meeting." Alec said, and explained.

He tossed me his phone, still talking and driving.

"I'm picking you up early. Inform the wolves at your school. Stick in a pack, ok. If anything goes wrong call me or Alex." He said, giving directions.

Pam tossed me her phone while listening and nodding. I punched in my number and saved it. I tossed her phone back and gave her my phone, to write her number. Alec continued talking.

"Alex, call the pack, all the numbers are on my phone and on speed dial. Tell them to pick up their group early and that we're having an emergency public meeting. Leave them a voicemail. Or text." he said, still directing.

I nodded and started texting and leaving messages. We arrived at Pam's school and all three of us got out. We took Pam, and Pen came out too. We sent them to their classes, they had the same classes.

"Hi! I'm Ms. Brook! Nice to see you, Alec. Who's this?" The teacher asked.

So she knew Alec? Huh?

"Hi, I'm here to drop off Pam and Pen, today. This is Alex, my girlfriend." he said, politely.

I still don't get how they know each other.

I went to Pam's school, on her first day she was nervous and asked me to come, he thought to me.

"Nice to meet you Alex! You guys better be off to school, don't want to be late!" she said.

Aw! That's sweet! That's so brotherly of you. I commented.

He smiled slightly.

"Yes, we should get going now." I said, and turned to leave.

We left the middle school and headed for high school. My personal hell, I thought, sadly.

It can't be that bad, Alec thought back.

"Yah, it is" I said, out loud, as we got into the car.

"I've been with most of these people since elementary school and they don't even know my real name." I told him.

"Oh? Alex isn't your real name. What is it?" he asked.

"It's my nick name. That's what most people say when they figure out Alex isn't my whole name." I said, sighing.

"Sorry. What is your whole name?" he asked and apologized.

I started texting and leaving messages again. I was a really fast texture because Bells and Olive got annoyed if I didn't text fast enough so I had to learn and now I could win a speed texting competition.

"It's Alexandra Coles. I actually like my first name but in middle school. I was teased and the guys started to call me Alex, I hated it so much, and told them to stop, but they didn't and it stuck and went to high school with me." I told him, telling him, a story that even Bells and Olive didn't know.

They weren't there in high school. They went to a different elementary and middle, together. I was alone in elementary and middle so they didn't know about the thee guys I'd let into my heart.

He looked at me, sadly, and I looked away. That's why I didn't tell anyone. They would pity and feel sorry for me. I didn't want that and I didn't need it either.

"Don't look at me like that! I don't want you pity and sorries, and I don't need them!" I yelled at him, still not looking at him.

I could feel the tears threatening to escape, but I was stronger than that and pushed them away, getting back to typing.

"Alex, look at me." Alec said.

I refused to meet his eyes, because I might start crying if I saw the pity and sorry in them. I didn't want to cry.

We got to school and I finished sending all the messages.

"Done. Everyone knows now. I also transferred the packs numbers to my cellphone." I told him, and got out of the car.

He was in front of me in a flash. I immediately looked down, not wanting to meet his eyes. He lifted my chin up, but I still wouldn't look at him.

"Alex, look at me." he said, intensely.

I sighed and gave in, and looked into his eyes. They held love, and sadness. The tears in my eyes pushed back up, wanting to surface, but I blinked them away, trying really hard not to cry.

"Hey! Guys, I got the message." Brendan said, popping out of nowhere, with Claire, Oscar, and Jake.

Me and Alec broke apart. And I made sure my eyes and face didn't show anything. Oscar looked at us weirdly.

"What happened? You came out of Jay's school looking sick." Brendan informed and asked, repeating Pam.

"We think their might be rouges at Jay's school. We heard a growl, and it was a wild and crazy kind. We informed everyone already." I started off.

"We need to pick up our group early. There's an emergency public meeting. Meet back here at about 2:00 so somewhere in the middle of 7 or 8 period. I want everyone here." Alec picked up where I left off.

"Be careful. Stay in groups, or packs. Make sure nothing happens. And if something does happen contact us immediately." I said, picking up where Alec left off.

They started at us weirdly. As if we were aliens from another planet saying hi in English.

"What?! Didn't you hear us?! This is important!" we said together.

"How did you do that?!" Brendan asked, amazed for some reason.

"Do what?" we said, together again.

"Pick up where the other left off, and talk together." Claire asked.

We shrugged together, then looked at each other and shrugged together.

"You guys must be in sync with each other. I heard from Zane that The True Mates are in sync with each other. They do things like you guys together like that." Jake said.

"This is not the time to be thinking about that! Rouges! Guys!" I said, or yelled.

There was a chorus of sorries, and the all turned serious.

"Let's go." me and Alec said in sync again.

I shook of that weird feeling, I got whenever me and Alec did something together.

Jake and Claire went to their classes, stuffing their phones in their pockets, and me, Alec, Brendan, and Oscar went to ours, while stuffing our phones too. I went to my locker and theirs were right next to mines, conveniently. We went to class together, since we missed homeroom. Mr. Jenson. We all took our seats, and he started lecturing.

How come I'm the only one taking notes?! I thought, with frustration. I bet if these people put a little effort into studying and taking notes, they'd all pass or get A's. Ugh.

I keep worrying about Jay. I can't believe he's stuck in a school with the rouges! They could hurt him!

Relax, Alex, Alec thought to me, nothing's gonna happen.

I jumped started, but fought the squeak that was threatening to escape.

If you keep doing that I won't be able to relax! Cut it out! I thought back.

Sorry, your gonna have to get use to it. No one else ever complains. He thought back.

Well they're all use to it. My head is the only private thing I have. That and my iPhone and I would like to keep it that way. Now stay out of my head. I thought to him.

He pulled out of my head, with a sorry. I sighed and went back to taking notes. When the bell rang, I waited for the guys.

"Alex, I can practically see your tension. Please relax." Oscar said, looking worried.

"Sorry, I have a tendency to worry. And when I worry I snap at people." I said, looking at Alec apologetically, he smiled back.

"But this time it's not worrying. I have a really bad feeling about this. Guys, take my word on it. I bet you $10 that something bad is gonna happen. I'm never wrong. When I say something bad is gonna happen it does. I promise you something really bad is gonna happen today." I told them, worrying.

"I'll take that bet. I bet $10 everything I'll be ok and your worrying, needlessly." Alec said.

"I'm on Alec's side. It'll be ok. Nothing's gonna go wrong and your worrying too much. I'm not betting money, though, because this seems like it's your fight" Brendan backed up Alec.

"Sorry guys, I'll go with Alex, she seems to have an eye for this kind of thing. I'm not betting on anything, because I want to see where this goes." Oscar said.

"Ok! Let's see where this goes. Even though I know I'm gonna win." I say, and head to class, with them following behind me.

This is gonna be one heck of a day! I thought. And I'm making $10 too!

*********

How was that?! The bets are even, so who do you thinks gonna win?!

You know what to do, or I won't upload. (evil glare)
