Honeybee's POV
My optics opened, though my sight wasn't clear just yet. As my vision cleared a bit, I saw that was in some sort of ship or at least I think it is. I sat up from the berth I laid in and tried to remember what happened to me, though so far only a few, like how the war for Cybertron was happening, me leading the scouts to Tyger Pa-.....Scrap! Am I one with the Allspark?!
Oh no, oh no, no, no, no, please tell this is not happening! Then again it doesn't look like anything like the Allspark. The thought of Tyger Pax was then brought into my processor. I wonder if Bumblebee is okay. I hope he's okay, I mean I don't feel him offlining in any way.
I took a look at my surroundings before getting off the berth, only to notice a mech in his seat at the front of the ship, just stirring through space. Hopefully not a Decepticon. Before I could even stand up from the berth, the mech in front of me looked behind his back, only to see me awake.
'Scrap'. I said it in my thoughts as I panicked, knowing I don't know what to do. I tried my best to stay calm. I'm a Cadet, you should know how to Calm!
"It's good to see you're awake, soldier." The mech said, only to find it familiar.
Wait a fragging minute.....soldier? The only one I know who would call me that is Optimus Prime and Ultra Ma-.....Sweet Solus Prime, I'm in the ship of ULTRA MAGNUS!!! My optics widen as I just stared at Ultra Magnus. Mostly because I didn't know how to respond to the commander himself!
He puts the ship into autopilot, before heading towards me. I couldn't look at his optics as I just looked at my pedes, still having my optics wide at the situation. I mean, there's no way out of this, mainly because we're both in the middle of nowhere in space and we're alone in his ship. I took a deep vent before speaking to him, but not making any optic contact.
"H-How long was I out, s-sir?" I cursed myself for stuttering, knowing that he is very much a professional.
"You have been in recharge for 3 mega cycles." He responded, "We were able to save you before you nearly went offline."
"I-I see." Was all I could say looking a bit sad.
"Why so glum, Cadet Honeybee?" He asked as he sat beside me on the berth.
For some strange reason I felt my air vents kicking in.
"I-I'm just...I'm just worried....for Bumblebee, t-that's all, sir." I said. Why do I kept stuttering around him?! Some professionalism I am!
"Your brother is alright, I can reassure you." He said before placing a servo on my shoulder plate, "Optimus Prime gave him orders to safeguard a planet to where we could all reunite."
I build up the confidence to look at him in the optic before speaking. "And...that planet would be?" I asked hoping to finally see my brother.
"I'm afraid Optimus only gave us the coordinates to go to this specific planet, which I am currently following." Ultra Magnus said
"Oh. How did I ended up in here, last I remember was getting crushed by a falling building just to save Bumblebee before every went dark for me." I said, thankfully not stuttering anymore, but why is my air vent still on?!
"A rescue team found you. Once we were about to leave Cybertron, I was asked to look after you while you were in deep recharge." He said
I looked back at my pedes and nodded my helm. Closed my optics as I took a deep vent, calming myself, Completely this time. I looked at the commander once more and stood up from the berth, facing him. As a Cadet, I spoke to my commanding officer, professionally.
"Sir, if it would not be much to you, I will help you in navigating those coordinates that Optimus Prime has given you." I said
"Very well soldier." He said before walking back to the front.
I followed him to the front and sat behind on the passenger's seat. I looked at the set of coordinates that were given and traced it. From the planet's location, it was in a different galaxy, which is light years away from our current position. I sighted at this and pointed at the direction towards the galaxy.
Few hours later, I detected an Autobot life signal and decepticon signals as well.
"Sir. Scanners have detected Autobot life signal and two decepticon signals chasing them." I said alerting him.
"Noted, Cadet." He said as he overrides the ship, trying to catch with the two decepticons from reaching an Autobot ally.
Right then you both saw three ships; two attacking the other. An urgent comm link was received as you accepted it. Magnus started firing at the two.
"May day, may day, This is Autobot, Chromia, if you're another Autobot, I am need of immediate assistance!" A femme said, Chromia said it as she tried her best to avoid.
"Chromia, this is Honeybee, Ultra Magnus and myself are doing the best we can." I said through the comms. "Can you try to turn around towards us?"
"I'll try my best, Cadet!" She said
Her ship was in between the two decepticon ship from from behind. Ultra Magnus was able to hit one of the ship's engine and with two more blasts it blew up. Chromia's ship maneuvers itself as it gave us a clear target lock on the last decepticon ship. As Magnus kept shooting, Chromia's ship was hit, causing one of her engines to be damaged. If that wasn't enough, the decepticon ship just crashed itself on to hers, causing an explosion as the two ships collided, a suicide just to let her join the Allspark.
My optics widen at the sight. "CHROMIA!!!" I cried out, seeing that a fellow comrade has just fallen an join the Allspark. Tears were coming through my optics as the thought of Chromia's death reminded me of the day I couldn't be able to save my creators.
Ultra Magnus was shocked at the sight as well but we both knew that there's nothing else we could do, but stop the Decepticons. I buried my helm into my servo as I just let my tears fall down. It hurt seeing a comrade's death and with it reminding the death of my creators. I didn't care if Ultra Magnus was staring at me. I didn't care if I was the only one who survived. I didn't care if I joined the Allspark, as long as I saved a life, but just lost more than one.
I felt a servo on my shoulder and by knowing who it was, I didn't care to look at him in the optic. I didn't deserve to live. I should've been offlined a long time ago.
"Cadet, there was nothing we could do now." Ultra Magnus said
"First my creators, then our team and now Cybertron. What kind of soldier am I if I couldn't even save just one life" I cried out,
"Honeybee, I know it's hard, I felt the same way when I lost my creators and comrades as well." He said,
"I just wished you didn't found me back there!" I snapped in front of him. "You should've just left me back there to just.....just.."
"Rust in peace. Leave your brother alone with a torn voice box?!" He said almost shouting at me.
"What?" I asked hoping it wasn't true.
"Bumblebee lost his voice box, Megatron torn it out when he was captured in Typer Pax, when you led the scouts there." He explained, "He was left there for scrap, but only to see that he wasn't the only one left for scrap. He told us that he wanted to save you from the wreckage but was caught out in the open."
My optics widen after hearing that. I knew Bumble would never leave me alone, not only that, it caused him to loose his voice just to save me. Bumblebee can be stubborn sometimes, but it never let me stop loving him for all he has done for me. I slapped my forehelm for being so stupid to snap in front of my commanding officer. Tears formed again in my optics at the thought of my dear brother again.
"His voice box wasn't completely fixed, but enough for us to understand." He said as he made me look at him, by using his digits on my chin.
I shook my helm and leaned back against my seat and looked back at the window. I wiped out the last of my tears as I pulled myself together. Now is not the time for crying.
"Let's just get to these coordinates." I said not looking at him, but right at the scanners.
"Soldier?" He asked
"Don't worry about me, sir. My problem is not important right now. Let's just proceed." I said as I wiped a single tear that fell on my faceplates.
"Very well, soldier." Ultra Magnus said as he speed up the phase of the ship, heading towards the planet that Bumblebee is in.
