~Let the Story Begin~
The girl glared at me and said with an sneer
"Yes, you did stole my man...I seen you dancing with him at the party. So, don't play dumb with me."
I crossed my arms thinking about what she just said and it all came to me. She continued while, her glare gotten worst.
"You know that tan olive skin, 6'1 tall, skinny but, strong and I mean real strong. The pearly teeth of his smile with his grey eyes and dark jet black hair...Yeah, that guy is my man. And thanks to you he broke up with me. After, 1 year with him and all it took was a damn party."
I looked at her shocked, it's really no use of hiding the fact I dance with him and nothing else. I said while
"He asked me to dance. I was getting a drink for my friend. HE grabbed my drinks and put them on table and HE dragged me to the dance floor. WE don't do anything but, dance which was one dance and I would like to say Not Thing More Happened after that. OKAY..."
She shook her head and was about to say something else until, Jeremy came behind me and sneak his arms around my waist and he kissed my cheek and said with a smirk
"Nice game, Hon"
The girl chuckled and said while glaring at me
"And a slut stole my ex boyfriend. My gawd, your just a booty call, And you can your boy toy and my ex to your damn collection of yours, Slut."
Every time she spoke the word slut and couldn't help myself to get angry at her. She doesn't know me and calling me a slut. How can a nerd be a slut? I know it's not me. I can tell I'm mad as hell just how I'm shaking silently and how my hands are shape of a fist and my nails digging into my palm. But, I calmed down just by Jeremy's movement. He was rocking me silently from side to side and he said to her
"Sorry for your bad relationship with your loser of a boyfriend. But, don't start shit with my girlfriend. She wouldn't steal your boyfriend when, she got me."
The girl was taken back by that and Jeremy continued
"So, go find something to do and don't ever call my girl a slut. When, I can see one that's right in front of me."
Now, she was shocked as hell. I watched as she flip us the bird and was marching back to her teams bench. I was a bit surprised myself and Jeremy kept rocking side to side with me and he said lightly in my ear
"You better now, Gwen?"
I said softly
"Yeah, much better thank you Jeremy."
With that moment he spinned me around just to see his cheese grin upon his face and said
"Your welcome, boss. Anything else you need I'm here to help."
I sighed and said with a small blush on my face
"Again, thank you and don't call me boss and ummm... Can you let go now?"
Now, it was his turn to blush. He chuckled and finally let go of me. Once, he did I can see Kevin running to me. He said while, waving the keys literally in front of my face once he was near us.
"You should cool down. I can tell she means nothing. Just an upset girl. But, you want to take a drive in the hottest car,"
I grabbed the keys that was in front of me while, saying to them
"I need to get change, okay. I'll be back in like 5 minutes or 6, then we can drive."
He had a huge smile on his face that he gave me a hug real quick then he let go. I guess Jeremy followed him too. Not noticing he stole the keys of my and took off running. I sighed and started walking to the bench where everyone is at getting their gear off. I took off my cleats, shin guards, socks, and I put on flip flops that's Nike the withe check ones. I quickly packed all of my gear into my gym bag and grabbed my regular clothes out of it. I zip up the bag and started making my way to the girls locker room where must of my team meets are at.
I walked into the locker to hear the shower's going on, girls chatting about what to do on the weekend. or some just hurried up dressing. I walked to the back and hurried up to put on my clothes. I changed into a tank top that's black, then my team jacket which is the school colors that's black and orange, then put on my white short shorts. That, Amy forced me to wear because ,we are going shopping today. I sighed and pulled my hair out of a ponytail and comb my fingers through the waves of my dark locks. Once, I was finished getting dressed I put my Uniform in my gym bag and started walking out the locker room. But, not before, taking a glace at the mirror. Every time, I looked in a mirror...I noticed something different every time.
I finally walked out of the locker room all together. Once, I walked out the door I looked across the hall of the door to stare eyes to eyes with Arnold. He smiled at me and I can feel the angry and butterflies appearing once, again. I stared at him one more time and started walking away from him. I can hear a sigh echo in the silent halls...Then, I can hear running real clear, while trying to catch me...He was saying
"Wait up."
I was thinking to myself way should I wait for him. He was the cost of me getting benched and getting hit from some girl I don't even know. That wasn't cool at all. I continued walking until, I finally got to the exit. Before, I can even opened the door. He put his hand on top of mine and said with this look to his face...a that had sorrow all written on his face in bold.
"What is wrong?"
I looked at him and said while, backing up with my arms crossed
"Please, don't smile and ask me what is wrong. I was bench and got hit by some girl who claimed of you being her boyfriend in the middle of the game."
He looked at me bit surprised and said
"Who was she?"
I said while, standing my ground
"I don't know you tell me."
He said while, walking to me
"'I'm not dating anyone...But, I want to."
I shook my head and said with a hint of anger while, he's getting closer to me
"That's not what she said. But, if you don't mind I must leave. See ya later."
I walked passed him just to have him grabbing my hand...He spinned me around to face him. My eyes went wide when, he did that. He said while, stared at me with guilt in his grey eyes...Just trying to con me and so far.... I don't believe it.
"I'm sorry Michelle did that to you, ummm..?"
I stared at him and said while rolling my eyes
"It's Gwen, Arnold."
He stared at me and said with a small smile
"Sorry, Gwen. I really don't mean for all of this happened like it did. Can we start over?"
I looked at him and I mean really looked at him...He does look sorry enough I want to see if I can get something out of this. I then said with a soft sigh
"Fine but, as friends nothing more, okay."
He shook his head and said while, letting go of my hand
"Sorry, but I want to be something more than friends with you, Gwen."
I was a bit surprised at what he just said. Really he wants to be more than friends with me. The guy barely know me at all. I wander what happens if he finds out that I'm a nerd. I said while, walking to the door
"It's friends or nothing at all. You pick."
I opened the door and started walking out to hear him close behind me. He sighed and said
"Fine, Friends for the moment and let's see what happens."
I said while, walking down the stairs with a small smile tucked to my lips
"Friends it is."
I turned around to face him and I said with a smile
"I'll see you around later, Arnold."
He gave me a small smile and said with his hands in his pockets
"Can I have your number first? You know so I can text you and stuff..."
I raised an eye brow at him and said while, tugging on to my gym bag
"And stuff?"
He was about to say something until, Dexter walked up to us and he said not taking his eyes off of Arnold
"You ready to go, Gwen?"
I sighed and said to him
"Just one minute...I'll be at there."
He nodded his head and came closer to me and kissed my cheek. I was surprised, I tried my best not to blush. I guess it worked and I watched him walk away with a smirk. That smirk of his can melt a chocolate bar on it's own. I looked at Arnold, I can tell he was pissed and I sighed and said while, reaching in my pocket for my phone
"Here put your number in here."
He was about to pull his out. Until, I said with a smirk of my own
"I'll text you when, I can. No need to give your phone to me."
He sighed and waited until, I was finish. I handed it back after, I saved it. I said while, walking away with a small smile
"I'll see you later, Okay."
He just nodded his head after, I took my final glace at him and I started walking to the parking lot. To see have of the student body surround by my brand new car. Kevin was smirking and talking to the whore's scratch that I mean girls...If I really mean it. I sighed and said while, making my way through
"Are you ready to leave?"
He sighed and tossed the keys to me and said loud and clear
"Back away from this beautiful looking car made of man-kind."
I had to roll my eyes at that while, getting to the driver's side and unlocking the doors. I got in and pushed the unlock button and he got into...I turned it on to hear the radio was on. I shut my door and never notice that there was a letter on the window shield wiper. I opened the door again and grabbed it and said to everyone around the car
"Back away from the car."
They all did surprisly and made a path for me. I got back in and shut my door and put my sit belt on and looked to see if anyone is in front or behind us. I can tell it was clear and I started driving away. I dash out off the parking lot and went on the road and I said to Kevin
"Do you know who put that letter there?"
He said while, reaching to turn the music up
"Nope, no clue but, where are we going?"
I said while, taking a glace at him
"Were going to the mall to get some clothes and I need to find a job."
He groan and said while, staring at me
"You don't need a job...Gwen."
I'm still going to look for a job. The whole car ride to the mall was auguring about get a job. It was completely pissing me off. Then minute I park the second he got out and the same with me after, I turned the car off and grabbed the letter that has a gift cards inside.And I said after locking the doors
"We're shopping together and your spending about $200 in stuff...The main thing is clothes okay. We'll talk over lunch."
He was still mumbling things but, I turned it out not listening to a thing he says when, we got into the mall. The first thing I seen was the last person I wanted to talk too.
TURN IN FOR NEXT TIME. I'M TERRIBLE SORRY FOR WRITING SO LAST. I WAS GROUND FOR THE MOST STUPIDEST THING IN THE WORLD...FOR MAKING MY SISTER CRY. FIRST OFF...THE GIRL IS GOOD WITH ACTING. SECOND THING IS SHE STOLE MY HOMEWORK FOR MATH CLASS...WHICH I SUCK IN THAT CLASS BUT, I'M STILL DOING OKAY. THIRD THING I HAD TO CLEAN UP THE BASEMENT, MY ROOM AND HELP OUT WITH OTHER THINGS.
