Deceit had chosen the colors he wanted for his room. The ceiling and walls halfway down would be a sky blue, and down would be green.
Although the wall wasn't going to be completely filled in with the colors.
He had asked his two guardians if he could try and paint a realistic field.
He had grown good at painting in the time he was in the orphanage. He had nothing to do so he would bribe children who snuck in with money he had stolen from the mistress to get him paints and canvasses.
The mistress had found them and beat him, then burned them right infront of him.
"We can go shopping for the paints tomorrow, right now we should eat something."
Deceit froze. Eat? He thought they want me to eat? No other adults wanted me to eat..
He frowned, thinking this had to be a trick.
You want me to eat? Are you going to hit me if I eat with you? Or eat too much?
Coffee looked mortified "did I read that right? You think we'd hit you for eating too much or eating with us?"
Deceit nodded.
"we would never do that!" Smiley shouted, horrified.
Deceit flinched at the volume.
Please don't yell.
Coffee translated "he said not to yell. Okay, Dee? Look we won't hurt you. You can eat as much as you'd like and we would like to eat with you since we're a family. We won't ever hit you."
Deceit sighed in relief. His hands were shaking.
