I was on the couch thinking as I stumed my guitar randomly.
I sighed and looked at Stella who was playing with a piece of rope.
"Oh Stella I don't know what to do" I said frustratedly as I buried my face in a pillow.
I heard her whine. I move the pillow to look at her and smiled. I booped her nose.
"I'm not upset with you girl, It's just, I'm thinking about a... person I meet name Sour Cream" I started to blush.
"I mean I just meet him but I can stop thinking, he makes me feel so helpless and I want to do something about it but then again do I want to? I never felt like this way before" I said.
Stella looked at me confused.
I petted her head.
"Don't worry, it's a human thing" I assured her.
I started back to play the guitar, I like the tune and started to sing.

Suddenly I heard giggling and the door being closed.
I looked up to see Garnet by the warp pad, grinning at me.
I smiled nervously at her.
"Hey, Garnet, exactly how much of this did you hear?" I asked.
"Oh we heard everything" She grinned and sat down next to me.
I blushed but frown when a way of douth hit me.
"What's wrong Y/n?" She asked.
I sighed.
"It just that I'm not used to this feeling, I'm happy yet scared, happy that I found someone, but scared that he doesn't like me and even if he does I'm scared that I'll lose him and I'm not fully human, I'm a hybrid, and why would he want to be with a hybrid when he could be with a normal human girl " I told her honestly.
Garnet place her hand on my shoulder causing me to look at her.
"Look Y/n you are looking down on yourself, beating yourself down and you shouldn't. Anyone would be lucky to have you and if your heart tells you that his the one, listen to it and don't be scared of what the have in store just live in the moment and when the future becomes present you'll face it know that you lived your best life and you did what made you happy " She explained to you.
"And that Sour Cream guy, I bet he likes you too, fully human or not "
I looked up at her.
"Wow, thanks Garnet but how do you know that?" I asked.
"Fusion Vision" She stated the grin reappearing.
"Is something good going to happen in future? is that why you are grinning so much?" I asked.
"Yes. Yes there is"
I smiled and got up to go into the kitchen.
"Well thank you so much for the talk Garnet, I really needed it. I'm going to try and make some cookies want to help me... Garnet? Where did you go?" I turned to see she wasn't there anymore along with Stella.
"Well, I guess that Ill make them by myself" I sighed.
(3rd POV)
Steven and Connie were coming back from checking up on Sadie and the band when the walked inside to hear Y/n talking about her feelings about Sour Cream.
Steven and Connie started to fangirl over this and when she started to sing Steven recorded the whole song after Y/n finished they nodded at each other knowing what to do and quickly made their way to the outside to go and tell Sour Cream the news.
While they made their way to Sour Cream they could help but grin.
"I can't believe Y/n likes Sour Cream" Connie said
"I can I thought it was odd how close they acted when they first met but it makes sense now that they both like each other" Steven told her.
Connie was beyond happy though she had know Y/n for a short time she wanted her to be happy on Earth, Steven was happy too and wanted Y/n to be happy.
They made it to Sour Cream's house, breathing a bit heavy.
"Sour Cream!" They called out.
Sour Cream, Jenny and Buck stopped their conversation and looked at them.
"Oh hey, Steven, Connie, what's up?" He asked the two.
"Hey, you two okay?"
"We're fine" Steven told him.
"Yea just a little out of breath" Connie said.
"So what's the news?" Jenny asked.
Connie and Steven smiled at each other then started to explain to Sour Cream what Y/n say about him and how she even made a song about him.
Sour Cream was a blushing mess while Buck and Jenny were teasing making him blush even more.
"She really likes me" Sour Cream said, in a dream-like state.
"Well Sour Cream, you got yourself a good one" Buck told him as he patted his back.
"So what are we going to do now?" Jenny asked him.
Sour Cream looked at Connie and Steven, and an idea came to mind.
"I have an idea, and I'll need everyone's help for this one"

I had finished baking the cookies and put them in a bowel.
I smiled at my accomplishment. I picked up a cookie and took a bit.
My eye turned into stars as a burst of chocolate goodness hit my tongue.
"My Stars! This is so good!" I smiled as I took another bit.
I heard Stella whine. I looked at her.
"Aw, Stella I'm not sure if you can eat human food like this" I told her.
She put her front paws on my leg and gave me an irresistible look on her face.
I sighed in defeat.
"Fine only once, but if you get sick don't blame me" I kneeled and gave her the cookie I was eating.
She took it and ran off with her short little feet to the couch.
I smiled and looked outside. It was past midday and getting a bit dark.
Then my phone started to vitiate in my pocket.
I pulled it out and saw Steven as the caller ID.
"Hey, Steven where are you? I have not seen you and Connie went out"
"Hey Y/n, can you come outside to the beach" Steven stopped mid-sentence and started to giggle.
I was confused.
"For a few minutes, its a surprise"
"Uh okay let me put away the cookies I made." I told him.
"Great! See you then!" He handed up before I could say anything.
I put away my phone in my pocket and put a kitchen towel over the cookies.
'Steven, what exactly are you up too?' I thought.
I made my way down the stairs and was shocked to see Sour Cream, Jenny and Buck with their instruments and Steven and Connie standing near the stairs.
Before I could ask anything Jenny and Buck started to play and Sour Cream started to sing.

I stared at Sour Cream in shock as he walked up to me.
"You did this, all for me?" I asked.
He sheepishly rubbed the back of his head.
"Of course I did, Y/n you are the coolest girl I have ever met" He said as he holds my hand.
"And I wanted to know if you wanted to go out with me on a date?" He asked me nervously, his face was red.
I wasn't too sure what a date was but my heart told me to say...
"Oh yes! I would love to go out on a date with you" I told him.
Suddenly he picks me up by the waist and twirls me around.
I squealed in surprise and place my arm on his shoulders as we both started to laugh, happy that we get a chance to be each other.
He put me back on the ground and pull me into a hug.
"Thank you, thank you for giving me a chance" He told me.
I smiled and inhaled his scent from his hoodie.
"Of course I would give you a chance, after all, I really do like you" I told him as I smiled at him, my face flushed.
He place a kiss on my forehead causing me to melt a bit.

We could hear the others cheering us on.
We pulled away from each other embarrassed, but I secretly didn't want to.
Steven and Connie pulled me away while Jenny and Buck stood next to Sour Cream
"So I'll see you Saturday night, 7:00 a.m?!" Sour Cream asked as I was taken away from him.
"Yes! I'll see you then, my darling!" I shouted after him with a smile.
He smiled back but I was already halfway up the stairs, with Connie on my left and Steven on my right.
"Oh Y/n! I'm so happy for you, congratulations" Connie told me.
"Me too! And we're going to help you with your date outfit after all this is your first day" Steven said as Connie nodded in agreement.
I smiled nervously.
"Um you guys, quick question... What exactly is a date?"
