"AND PLEASE WILL YOU WELCOME SCARLETT CABELLO TO THE STAGE!" Jimmy Fallon announces, standing up and extending his arm when Scarlett walks onto the set, her smile bright and wave wide, taking her seat on the grey armchair.
"Welcome to the show for the second time, Scarlett," Jimmy begins, and Scarlett giggles, her first time being when her debut album was to be released. "How are ya? This past year has been tough for you." He explains, clearly referring to Theo and the wedding and Scarlett going physically missing for eight months.
Scarlett takes a deep breath, her hands already gesticulating. "Of course it's been hard, I just went through the hardest time when I found out that I was being cheated on, like, minutes before I'm meant to walk down the aisle and marry him!" She rambles, and for the first time, tears never came to her eyes when she's reminded of the day she was planning on marrying Theo. Sure, there was a heck of a lot of nerves and anxiety settled in her stomach, but she didn't cry, because she remembered for the first time in a long time that Tom was with her the entire time.
"Now that's a situation nobody wants to be in," Jimmy frowns for Scarlett, but clears his throat, "But that triggered you to create this beautiful album that's due to come out in less than a month now, hasn't it?" He asks.
Scarlett nods, feeling herself smile at all her songs written and accomplished. "I swear to God, it's my biggest album yet. I wanted to slim it down but I just can't, they all tell the story of my past year."
"Are there any surprises on the album? Any songs that fans will not expect?" Jimmy asks, and Scarlett chuckles in response, her head nodding rapidly. "Oh, definitely. You'll all find out things about me that I've kept secret for months!"
"And I hear you have a surprise for us as one of these songs from the album?" Jimmy prompts, and Scarlett feels herself squeal, clapping her hands in excitement.
"Well, I'm in love with this album, and I want you to be, too." She gushes.
"How about surprises tonight?"
"Yeah! So as you know, later on I'm performing my latest single, No Tears Left To Cry," Scarlett begins, the mention of no tears earning an enthusiastic cheer from the audience, "But also, I'd like to bring someone to the stage who helped me write this song on my first album, but on this album we decided to make it so it's a duet with both of us, because this song just means so much to us."
Scarlett stands, making her way to the stage, a microphone handed to her as she turns to the entrance to the set. "So Thomas Holland, would you care to join me to sing love me harder with me?" She talks lowly into the microphone, and the crowd exploded in cheer and applause, fangirls screaming left, right and centre.
Tom walks on, spinning the microphone in his hand, grinning uncontrollably, running from the point where he entered the set to where Scarlett was, comforting her with a calm touch of her back, the lights getting dimmer as the music begins to play from the track that first hinted to Scarlett how much Tom loved her.
"Tell me something I need to know..."

SCARLETT FELT THE RUSH OF THE POST SHOW PARTY IN FULL SWING, A GLASS OF SPARKLING WATER IN HER HAND AS SHE DANCED WITH TOM EFFORTLESSLY. She had literally the night she had dreamed of for years — singing the song she made with Tom about loving eachother infront of a real audience and singing with each other.
She stared up at him in complete adoration, feeling a certain warmth in her that gave her butterflies that rushed up to her throat, though she soon realised that the midnight morning sickness had kicked in and her eyes widened, holding her hand over her mouth.
Tom stopped dancing, immidiately recognising what was happening and running with Scarlett to the closest empty bathroom and lifted the seat up so Scarlett could do what she does nearly every day: throw up everything consumed in the evening.
Tom sat with her calmly, kneeling with his wife as he picked up her hair and held it in a loose ponytail so none would get caught in her mouth, rubbing small circles on her back in comfort. "This is probably the worst part for you, innit? All the sickness. You won't have to put up with it much longer."
It was a snarky remark, one that wasn't thought of when it rushed out of Tom's mouth, and he screwed his eyes shut in guilt as soon as he did say it. "I know, it doesn't really last beyond four months, so really I'm more than halfway there." She comments back faster than Tom, and he was taken aback in shock.
"We might not have it in a few months, though?" Tom almost asks, but wasn't sure if it was the right call, and Scarlett wipes her mouth with a paper cloth from the dispenser, popping a piece of chewing gum she kept in handy with her at all times nowadays, unable to wipe the grin from her face.
"With Tom Holland for my baby's dad, why would I want to get rid of it? It's no Theo James, I'm telling you. Now he's quite a handful." She beams, and Tom begins to light up, his whole body bursting in excitement as he runs around the bathroom, going back to Scarlett.
"Does this mean...?"
"Camila convinced me that I would kick myself everyday if I aborted because I still had that ridiculous man trapped in my head even though I know a family with you is all I have ever wanted!" Scarlett begins to tear up in happiness, and Tom was already there, full on sobbing as he takes Scarlett in his arms and clutches her tight, sniffing loudly as he kissed her time and time again all over her face and lips.
"I'm going to be a dad! We're...we're going to be parents!" Tom cries, and Scarlett nods, kissing Tom tenderly once more.
"And I'm gonna be a mum!"
