Never ever cross in my mind to be like this.
My job is to be an mentalist.
But when I'm with you, I feel like I'm losing my job. My job to read people.
Your beautiful smile and those sparkling eyes make me lose my suave words.
No one can sway me with their sweet talks for I can see through people.
But when she spoke to me.
I swooned.
"Gen, you are really awesome" she praise over small things. As I always look at her straight in the eye as I observed if she was coddling with me. But all of her praises were all genuine sincere.
There was no hint of sugar coating to it, Just Sincere.
"Y/n-chan~ what are you doing?"
"Ohh, Hello Gen, Just helping Senku and Chrome at the Lab" she said. While making her way towards the laboratory. I don't know, What comes to me, When I asked her that question, I was just curious on how will she react to it.
" Ohh, Y/n-chan wanna go on a date?" I jokingly said and immediately regret it as I tried to play it safe and I was going to say Kidding. But When I saw her expression.
She was blushing...

"Oi y/n, are you still not done..." Senku-chan entered the tent and immediately notice the awkward situation between me and y/n.
"What the hell did you do, Gen" Senku-chan said.
"Oh my Senku-chan, you making me sound like, I'm doing something bad, hey, hey Y/n-chan~ don't take it seriously, I'm just kidding" I finally said it
Y/n-chan just nod her head and bow as she excuse herself.
It's very rare to see her act bashful and timid, it was cute.

"So? Whats with the red face?" Senku playfully asked.
"Huh?! No it's not, oh my Senku-chan...stop teasing me" I said.
" Oi Gen, you should minimize your flirty jokes on y/n" Senku said.
"Yeah, I know" I said.
Y/n POV
" Ohh, Y/n-chan wanna go on a date?" Gen asked.
Before the petrification happened, I was a fan of Asagiri Gen. I find magic is fascinating and entertaining as well.
I never thought of being close to him. But when his asking me out,
I couldn't help but blush at him.
Much worst Senku came in.
"Oi y/n, are you still not done..." Senku entered the room and noticed the tension in the air.
"What the hell did you do, Gen" Senku said.
"Oh my Senku-chan, you making me sound like, I'm doing something bad, hey, hey Y/n-chan~ don't take it seriously, I'm just kidding" Gen said.
I'm really an Idiot for Getting my hopes up, I'm just a plain ordinary girl, There's no way, I'll get him to like me. I couldn't help but to blush in embarrass by myself.
I'm very aware of it.
"Oh, Y/n-chan, your're here" Ginro said.
While I just sitting and hugging my knees.
"Oi Ginro, stop slacking we have to guard our village" kinro said.
3rd POV
"Oh, Ginro, Kinro, morning? " she trying to greet them cheerfully.
"Y/n... What's the matter with you?" Kinro concerned asked while Ginro just look at him to her.
" Ehhhhhhhhhh, Kinro do you like y/n-chan!?" Ginro shouted asked.
Y/n just blush along with Kinro, indeed, Kinro found Y/n attractive to his point of view, thats why he sometimes avoid the girl but then she never did the same and keep giving him genuine smile directly to him.
"Kinro, good work, here, have some water" she always bring water to the both guard who guard and work to them also.
He couldn't get himself, speak around her so he just nods and she will just smile.
"Kinro, isn't she like an fallen angel, she's so kind and cute and her boo- body curves are nice" Ginro said.
Kinro just can hear his heart beating fast. He is very aware of him liking the girl.
Back to Kinro and y/n situation.
Everyone was looking directly at the three as Ginro make things worst for y/n and Kinro whose embarrassed.
Gen also heard it and Senku who watch the change of expression of Gen, hearing that Kinro having an interest on Y/n.
Gen isn't carefree as always as he look at y/n and Kinro along with Ginro teasing the two and the other who is present also join with Ginro.
"You making quite a face there, Gen" Senku said. While looking at the flustered y/n and Kinro and other people whose teasing them and back to Gen.
And his back to his carefree.
"Just now, were you watching me closely, senku-chan~" Gen said.
" That's Gross" Senku said. While still watching them.
" That hurt me, Senku-chan~" Gen said.
" Was it really me or was it Y/n and Kinro?" Senku bluntly said.
Senku is very aware of Gen always looking directly to y/n.
Gen only smile at him and act careless.
"I have no idea at all...why...y/n-chan and kinro-chan is involve about me getting hurt, that's a funny thing to say senku-chan~" Gen said.
Senku just look at him and raise an eyebrow.
"It's because your in love with her, right?" Senku said looking at him.

"Good thing, you finally get it" Senku said and start to walk away.

"I have a lot of things to do, so don't bother me, unless you help me" Senku-chan said as he wave his hand as farewell and walk towards the lab.

I just watch in amusement of how Gen is acting around Y/n.
I am always curious about the philosophy matters about this called Love. By Plato and Aristotle,
This is exhilarating.
I'm Ten Billion percent they both feel the same thing.
"Oi enough with the teasing and back to work, we got a deadline to catch, remember" I said and they all leave, Y/n and Kinronalone.
"Thanks Senku" y/n said.
"If your flirting, do it in some other time" I said.
She only blush and the serious type Kinro blush also.
"We're not fli-flirting at all, stupid Senku" y/n pouting said.
I could only smirk at her.
3rd POV
Y/n was a bit annoyed at Ginro.
"You shouldn't shouted such things like that" she pouted.
"Y/n-chan, I'm sorry, come on stop pouting at me, please, I'm really sorry" Ginro pleading said.
"... What can I do, I can't never stay mad on anyone" y/n said and then Ginro was going to hug her but then Kinro just caught him in time.
"Damn you, Ginro, come over here, I teach you a lesson" Kinro said and drag Ginro away from
y/n.
Leaving Y/n alone again.
"Nothing I can do"she thought to herself.
Gen just watch her from a distance and Senku notice it.
"What are you staring over there, you look like a creep or something"
"Waah! Senku-chan you scared me! What staring no not at all"
" Ohh, if it's just y/n, go ahead and tell her already" Senku careless said to Gen.
" I'm not staring at all, tell her what, I got nothing to tell her, ahahaha"
Gen try to denied Senku accuses to him.
Senku just thought that, indeed relationship is such a pain in the ass.
He already lose interest about the philosophy of love.
"Stop being coward and tell her before someone take her away from you" Senku said and left Gen to his thoughts.
Should I tell her, but I'm not good at this matter.
"Gen?" The person Gen avoiding for the moment while his sorting his thoughts about her.

"Oh... Hey Y/n-chan~ how are you doing?" Okay just play it like usually, Gen" he said to himself.
"I'm doing fine, you acting a bit odd tonight, is there something wrong? " Y/n concerned asked to the mentalist whose losing his composure.
"Huh, I'm fine... Aww were you concern about me?" Gen said.
"Of course, I am, your an important person to me" y/n said and smile at him.
That was a foul play.
"Y/n-chan, you know...I"
"Hmm?"
"Love you" Gen said.
She look at me surprised. And she look around.
Gen POV
"Is this a dream?" She said and look at me and poke me.
"It feel so real" she said.
I just look at her, she's adorable.
"Y/n-chan~ this isn't a dream" I said but then it didn't reach her.
She blush and speak again.
" Kiss me, if this isn't a dream, ahahaha...just kidding, kidding" she said with a carefree tone.
3rd POV
Now Gen is blushing hard and wanted to kiss Y/n for acting so cute.
Gen start to hold her in the arm and her carefree attitude subside a bit and Gen kiss her in the lips.
It was just a peck but y/n feel her heart will burst.
This isn't a dream, she thought while Gen kissing her.
She feel her legs getting weak by his kiss. So she hug Gen after the kiss.
"... I also love you, uwaah (>\\\<) I love everything about you"she blurted out.
" I also feel the same to you, y/n-chan" Gen said with full of love.
She could only blush at the handsome mentalist.
"I fall in love with you and your everything, Y/n-chan~ take responsibility for it, Okay <3"
