What if Tony blipped instead of Peter?
Dust.

Peter looked around fearfully, a loud tingling sensation at the back of his neck- warning him.
He watched as people began disappearing, fading into dust. They'd lost. He watched as Peter Quill dusted, many others following. But that's not what scared him most. The sound of the last of the Ironman suit failing terrified him, absolutely petrified him.
"Dad?" He asked in a shakey breath. The man looked up at him, fear woven into his features. The man looked down at his hands as the swiftly descintgrated into nothing.
"I'm sorry, Peter. So sorry." And the man was gone- he had disappeared- falling effortlessly to the ground as a pile of ash.
Peter cried out in pain, grief, anger. He sobbed and sobbed, praying that he would disappear to. But it never happened. It NEVER happened.
Five years.
