Spring's Interlude
To the rose over there
on the other side of the garden
planted in the darkest corner of the soil
where the light barely crawls in
hold on dear
don't you wither
don't you grow cold
don't you lose hope
you are beautiful even alone
The sun will rise again
across the entire field
and when the leaves
stop shivering,
you will find warmth
and you will find strength
to bloom even louder than
all the other flowers
that never stopped
