~Vanessa's POV~

Jay was with the boys meaning Zay, Lucas, Farkle, Luke and Ravi so the girls and I decided it was a good time to bond and it seemed the dads had the same idea.

While my mom, Topanga and Katy were at the counter Riley was with her dad, Maya was with mine and I was with Enrique which I was lucky he had a free week this week.

We were eating cake and Enrique and I were laughing because Maya shoved some cake into Shawn's mouth.

"Okay!" Cory exclaimed out of sudden. "Evening over!"

"Hey!" The four of us exclaimed.

"Did you girls do your homework?" Cory asked us.

"Do I really have to remind you who I am, Uncle Cor?" I raised my eyebrow while my dads chuckle.

"I did excellent work." Riley smiled once she saw her dad's face.

"I also did excellent work." Maya copied Riley's actions making me chuckle.

"One of us is completely lying." Riley told the men.

"Can you guess who?" I asked with a smirk.

"Give them a hint." Riley smiled.

"You guys need a hint?" Maya asked them.

"No." The dads replied in unison.

"You know a little discipline isn't a bad thing, Maya." Cory told her.

"Oh, thanks, Mr. Matthews." Maya thanked. "I'll ponder on that."

Riley then suddenly started doing some weird head movements confusing us all.

"I'm sorry, what?" My dad asked.

Riley repeated her previous movements still not making any sense to us.

"Yeah. Just because you do the same weird gesture twice doesn't mean I get it." Dad told her.

"You know, this is usually the part of the evening when people give out fatherly advice." Riley informed him making me and Enrique smile wondering how he's going to do this.

My dad turned to me with a shock and scared look which I respond, "Oh, don't worry dad she's not talking about me." I smiled as Enrique put an arm around me. "I have my Papa. Now there's someone missing."

Shawn then looked over to Maya realizing she's the last one left.

"No!" My dad chuckled. "No, it's not my place."

"Go ahead." Maya tells him. "What advice you got for me? I can take it."

"Oh, come on!" My dad exclaimed. "We were having such a good evening. Can't we just leave it at that?" Dad asked standing up.

Maya stood up asking him, "What's the matter? You don't think I can take it?" Maya asked him before punching him. "Boom! Go ahead." Maya then kept punching him. "Come on! Let's do this! Tell me to do my homework. Maybe we will do it. You don't even know it. Come on! Let's do this!" Maya told him as she punched Shawn making us laugh. "Come on. You got something for me? Out with it. I dare you."

"No, no I have this wonderful instinct for too far and we have arrived." Topanga said.

"Speak for yourself, Panga. I want to see how this goes." My mom told her best friend while watching the scene in front of her with amusement.

"There's nothing he could say that would bother me." Maya told them.

"It's not going to happen." My dad denied.

Maya gave him a look before she started making chicken noises.

"Oh, right, right because chicken noises work on a grown man." My dad told her.

Maya kept making the noises before turning to me.

"No." I shook my head instantly.

"Ring power!" She exclaimed showing.

"Oh, come on!" I exclaimed before I joined Maya on making chicken noises.

While we were doing this Riley joined in saying, "Cluck! Cluck! I'm a chicken! Cluck!"

"I'm out." I said standing beside my dad.

"Alright. You want one piece of fatherly advice?" Shawn asked her.

"And here comes the end of everything." Topanga announced.

"Sure, give it your best shot." Maya smiled.

"I think you should dress differently." Dad told her.

Maya stared at him in shock asking him, "What did you just say?"

"Oh, you see... you asked me for advice. I told you... but you pushed." My dad tried to explain.

Maya seemed like she was about to cry making me smile because I know those were happy tears.

"Are you crying?" Dad asked her. "I made you cry?" Maya nodded in confirmation. "Maya, you asked me for advice and I just told you how I was feeling. Why are you crying?"

"Because no one's ever cared enough to say that to me." Maya smiled before going over to him hugging him.

"Well, now I would take exception to that, but wow, I like where this is going." Katy smiled.

Maya then started to sob causing My dad look around awkwardly asking, "Make it stop. Can we make it stop? How do I make it stop?"

While she was still sobbing Maya gave me a look as if she was saying join in but I kept shaking my head but like before she showed me the ring power ring making me silently groan before I go in and join her.

I hugged my dad right next to Maya starting to 'sob' but I kind of did because I was happy for Maya.

"No, no, not join in." My dad whined but we just kept sobbing. "How 'bout I buy you some new clothes?"

Maya and I stopped but when I let go she was still hugging him.

I sat down next to Enrique smiling at the scene in front of me rubbing away my tear stains from my cheek.

"Can I buy you some too, Cariño?" Enrique asked me.

"I don't want to waste any money, Pápa." I smiled at him.

"We have enough money, mija." Enrique tells me. "Come on we haven't had any time together since you got your part."

I think about thinking it be a good bonding for everyone so I smiled at Enrique, "Okay, Papa, let's go."

Riley was looking back and forth on Maya and me so she started to 'weep' laying her head on Cory's shoulder saying, "Okay your right we should be more like them. Now you say I get new clothes."

Cory turned to his daughter saying, "You had your chance, Riley."

Riley stopped her actions before letting go of her dad punching him exclaiming, "Boom!"

"Ahh!" Cory shouted falling back while Riley smiled all innocently.

Not a moment later Jay rushed into Topanga's going to me and with hesitation swung me over his shoulder.

"What is happening?!" I exclaimed.

"10 points!" He exclaimed as he ran us out of Topanga's.

"What the hell?!"

°°°°°°

The next day Maya, Riley and I were with Cory, Enrique and Shawn for a daddy daughter day.

"Riley go and introduce, Maya." I told her while I fixed Maya's collar.

"Alright god-sissy." Riley smiled. "What about you?"

"Nope." I shook my head. "Don't introduce me don't mention me."

"Alright." Riley headed out the dressing room.

"Why don't you want to be introduced, Vee?" Maya asked me confused.

"Because this isn't about me, M." I smiled. "This is about you and my dad getting a stronger relationship."

"Are you cool about that?" Maya asked me nervously.

"I told you before I'm totally fine about this. I want you to have a close relationship with him too. You're not only my best friend, M, your my sister." I smiled which caused her to smile as well. "But just because your my sister it doesn't mean I won't kick you butt if you keep doubting yourself."

Maya smiled, "Thanks, Vee. You're my sister too."

We shared a quick hug but we heard someone saying, "Aww!"

"Riley!"

"Oh, right." Riley responded. "Gentlemen, may I now present the new and definitely improved Miss Maya Hart!"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Come on out." My dad said. "Let's see what you put together."

"Get out there, tiger." I smiled gently pushing her out the dressing room as she was wearing a black dress and black boots.

I looked through the curtains watching the scene in front of me, I saw my dad look at Maya before collapsing on a couch next to Enrique and Cory.

They were about to say something with a smile before my dad cut them off saying, "I know."

"What do you think?" Maya asked him nervously.

"Wow." My dad gushed making me smile. "Look at you."

"Yeah. This might be my favorite day ever." Cory smiled.

"I second that." Enrique smiled as well.

"Shawn you really don't have to do this." Maya told him as I saw her walk to Shawn.

"I want to." My dad admitted. "I want to be responsible for this, if you'll let me."

"Thank you." Maya thanked with a smile. "No one's ever done anything like this for me before."

"You're welcome." My dad smiled. "Now, pick something else out and go back into the dressing room and be happy and come out with that face on."

"You'll be okay?" Maya asked him.

"Oh, I'm fine." Shawn shrugged. "I-I have this chair."

While my dad and Maya were having conversation Riley came into the dressing room quickly changing into a sequence purple dress before getting out there.

"No!" Cory exclaimed.

"But my face." Riley smiled.

"No!"

"But I love you."

"No!" Cory exclaimed once more before turning to Shawn. "I'll teach you that next."

I couldn't take the way the dress looked so flashy so I quickly grabbed an outfit I matched and got out of the dressing room.

"Nope." I shook my head. "That's too much. Try these instead." I handed her a blush pink sweater with black jeans and white shoes. "Try these. They're more your style."

"Ooo, Vee fashion." Riley smiled. "Thank you god-sissy."

I smiled at her as she went to the dressing room and I turned to the others. Maya and Cory smiled at me I'm guessing because of my clothing choice while Enrique and Shawn were looking at me with fatherly smiles.

"Wow, little star/Cariño you look amazing." They smiled at me. I

"Thank you." I smiled. "But I still think it's too much. I mean I still have clothes at home."

"Mija, you've been trying to upgrade your style for weeks and don't say you aren't because we've seen you doing it." Enrique tells me with a smile. "Trust me it's not too much. You don't ask for a lot so get as much as you want."

"Thank you, Pápa." I smiled. "But if you're allowing me to get as much as I want I'm going all out."

"Go for it." He smiled.

And that's how I unlocked my fashionista side.

°°°°°°

"I went shopping for girls clothes and I had a good time!" My dad exclaimed as we all entered Topanga's where Jay, Auggie and the moms were at. "What is happening to me?" Shawn asked Enrique who just shrugged in response holding some bags of mine in both hands.

"What do you think?" Maya asked them.

"Wow! New look, Maya. You look great." Topanga smiled.

"Very beautiful." My mom complimented her with a smile as well.

"You look beautiful, baby girl." Katy told her daughter.

"Nice look, Maya." Jay complimented her too giving her a thumbs up.

"Thanks guys." Maya thanked with a smile.

"Can I have your T-shirt with the big tongue?" Auggie smiled as he asked. "I like that big tongue. Blah!"

"Riena, how much did you get?" My mom asked me.

"The ones Pápa and me are carrying." I told her.

"Wow."

"Dang girl!" Jay exclaimed.

Topanga smiled at us before turning to see her daughter carrying some bags so she turned to her husband exclaiming, "Cory!"

"No! It's not hers." Cory shook his head. "I got her nothin'!"

"Shawn! That's all for Maya?" Katy asked my dad. "It's too much."

"Katy, why do you work so hard?" Dad asked her.

"To keep the lights on, Shawn." Katy responded.

"Katy, why do you work so hard?" Shawn asked her again.

"Because I have a daughter to take care of." Katy admitted.

"There you go." Dad smiled. "And I just have me and my daughter who only ask for food, nothing more."

Once my dad said that everyone turned to me seeing me eat a piece of cake.

I swallowed what I had in my mouth before saying, "I'm a young small Latina girl and a young Latina needs her food." Everyone just kept staring at me with smiles on there faces. "Oh, what ever get back to your conversation."

My dad smiled at me before turning to Katy saying, "I've been able to put a little money away since I don't need it."

"How much money?" Cory asked him.

"'Bout that much there." Dad pointed to Maya's bags. "And now it's all gone. But it's okay because I like taking care of somebody besides me."

Katy suddenly dragged my dad with her to have a private conversation but I don't think she noticed that Jay and I were right next to them.

"Maya adores you don't think I don't know that." We heard Katy tell him. "And the deeper that this gets, the more it's going to crush her when-"

"When what?" Shawn asked.

"When her legs get cut out from under her." Katy finished.

"Katy, can we just have a good day?" Dad asked her. "You keep the lights on. Right? And I dress the kid up a little bit. Can't we just look at her and smile?"

"Yeah. I guess we can." Katy sighed.

"We good?" Shawn asked her.

"We're good." Katy smiled as he walked away. "Thank you."

My mom and Topanga walked up to Katy as my mom asked her, "Yeah, you didn't tell him that keeping the lights on isn't quite as glamorous for your daughter who has a whole new wardrobe, did you?"

"He did a kind thing. I stopped hopping for any glory long ago." Katy admitted.

"Hey, you." My dad called out to Maya. "Who's your mama?"

"That pretty blonde lady." Maya smiled pointing to her mom.

"She does all the heavy lifting. I got to do something fun, so this stuff comes from me and her. Don't you ever forget that." Dad smiled putting an arm around Katy.

"I won't." Maya smiled. "Thanks, mom." Maya went over to her mother and hugged her.

When they detached Maya went back to Riley who picked up Maya's bags telling her, "You know, Maya, you can borrow any of my clothes whenever you want."

"Thanks." Maya smiled. "But you can never touch any of this stuff." Maya walked away with Riley following after her.

"Okay, my turn." I smiled grabbing three bags I had sat down walking over to the mothers. "These are for you three."

They looked shocked as they smiled taking the bags.

"You got us clothes?" My mom and Topanga asked me which I nodded to.

"Honey, you didn't have to do that." Katy told me.

"Your my mom." I told my mom looking at her before turning to Katy and Topanga. "And Riley and Maya are my best friends. Riley's my god-sister and Maya, I already considered her as my sister meaning both of you are somehow mothers to me too." I smiled at them. "And I like giving things to my mom."

All the moms smiled at me with teary eyes before hugging me which I returned. When we detached we heard someone sobbing and we turned to see Cory blowing his nose on my dad's jacket.

"Why are you always sneezing on my stuff?!" My dad exclaimed.

We laughed before I went and grabbed three other bags walking over to the boys.

"This one is for you, Auggie." I smiled giving him a bag before whispering to him, "I made them take us to go to your favorite store."

"Candy Park!" Auggie smiled looking in the bag.

"Yup!" I smiled.

"Thank you!" Auggie smiled hugging me before heading to the couches as he started to munch on his candy.

I smiled at him before I turned to Jay waving bags to him.

"What I got something too?" He asked with a smile.

"Well my best friend has been saying he wanted new clothes too and Demolition had a lot of men clothing as well so..." I smiled handing him the bags.

Jay looked through the bags looking at the new clothes before setting them down giving me a hug.

"Thanks, Wolfy they're very nice also a great nice style." He smiled as we detached.

"No problem." I smiled.

"Mija, as much as we appreciate all these, how much did you actually get for yourself?" My mom asked me.

"She only got herself five bags." Enrique informed her.

"But there are seven left." Topanga said confused.

"Yeah, one I got some clothes for Riley." I told them. "So one bag if for her."

"You didn't tell her did you?" Jay asked me.

"No." I chuckled. "I kind of want to see how far she goes asking Maya if she can borrow her clothes."

"And the other one?" Topanga asked.

"Oh, that's for Sammy." I told them. "She's been wanting some new clothes since she moved here but hadn't gotten the time so I just got her some."

"Oh, yeah speaking of Sam." Jay said. "We have to go to the penthouse at the Ross's with her since the costume design team is starting to make the clothes and they're over there. Someone is going to come pick us up."

"Oh, okay." I nodded. "But when are they going to come?"

"Like in five." Jay checked his phone.

"What? That's not enough time for me to put the stuff back at the house." I told him.

"It's alright, Cariño, we can take it." Enrique told me. "You go ahead."

"You sure?" I asked him.

"Yes." He nodded when we heard a honk outside.

"I guess they're here now." I shrugged as Jay nodded.

He went and grabbed his stuff while I grabbed Sam's new clothes and my phone.

"Bye guys! We'll see you later!" We told them as we rushed outside.

°°°°°°

The next day we were in class and Maya, Jay and I were wearing our new clothes as Riley decided she wanted to wear her new ones tomorrow.

I finally gave her, her bag once Maya kept texting me that Riley tried to take her new clothes.

"It came out of nowhere. The winds were blowing at 175 miles per hour." Cory explained to the class. "A category five hurricane. There is no category six. Who knows what a levee is?"

"It's like a hill or a dam that's supposed to keep water out." Riley responded.

"Suppose to." Cory empathized. "So, we build these protections to keep out the elements, but sometimes the storm is stronger than we are. Who knows anything about New Orleans geography? Farkle?"

"It's below sea level." Farkle responded.

"So where does the floodwater go?" Cory asked.

"Down." I frowned. "Right into the city."

"And what are the results?" Cory asked. "Lucas, Jason?"

"Parish after parish was destroyed." Lucas told him.

"People lost their homes." Jay continues as he frowns as well.

"People lost everything." They frowned.

"Lucas went there from Texas to help out." Riley told her father.

"Did Vee or me tell you that?" Lucas asked her while Jay asked me, "How'd you know?"

"After the hurricane happen my mom, Enrique and I went to New Orleans to help out and before we were leaving Lucas arrived to help out too that's how I knew he was coming to New York too." I explained to him causing him to nod as Riley responded Lucas's question with a, "Nope."

"You know, when it ended there were jazz bands playing on the street. Other people came out of what was left of their houses to dance." Bubs explained. "You know what they do in New Orleans?"

"They have hurricane barbecues." I responded causing Lucas to nod. "Hurricane picnics. Their city drowned but they still celebrated each other. But that's one reason that's one of my favorite cities." I smiled. "Even though they have issues they're happy as long as they have each other."

Cory smiled at me before turning to the class saying, "So, their homes are gone. They have no power. And they live in a city where even geography tells them it's a sucker's bet to stay. What do they do?" Cory asked before looking at Maya. "Maya, raise your hand."

"I don't know the answer." Maya told him.

"Stop hiding out in my class, Maya." Cory told her. "You know the answer. What did they do?"

"They stayed and believed things would get better. And they did." Maya responded. "They got better."

"How come?" Cory asked her.

"Because they had hope." Maya smiled.

"New Orleans is one of my favorite cities in the world too." Cory nodded. "Even in devastation, they didn't miss a Mardi Gras." Cory then smiled at Maya. "The clothes look nice, Maya. But it's the hope that looks great on you."

At the moment Jay and I were going through our scenes at Topanga's when my dad entered.

"Oh, thanks for coming." We heard Katy tell him. "You need to stop being nice to me."

Jay and I looked at each other confusingly before I take off my glasses as we set down our scripts paying attention to them.

"And you need therapy." My dad told her.

"No, kidding." Katy agreed setting down the plates on the table in front of her. "Listen, I love the way you are with Maya and I believe you may be sincere but there's no need to be nice to me." She sat down on the couch in front of her.

"I don't think you and I have ever even had a normal conversation." My dad told her sitting down next to her.

"When Kermit left me-" Katy got cut off by my dad laughing.

"I'm sorry. I just, I just didn't- I never picture your ex-husband as a Kermit." My dad admitted with a smile.

Katy looked at him a bit annoyed before saying, "When Kermit left me-"

Once again she was cut off by my dad's laugh.

"I'm sorry continue." My dad smiled.

"Hm, when he left-"

"When who left you?" My dad asked with a smile.

Katy smiled at him before she got him to quiet down saying, "I decided to shut that part of me off. You know fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on-"

"Me?" My dad questioned her. "Shame on me? Why? Katy I have no idea where this conversation's coming from."

"You're confusing your affection for Maya with affection for me and you don't need to do that." Katy told him.

"Wait, when did I affection you?" My dad asked.

"You put an arm around me." Katy reminded him.

"Oh, Katy come on." My dad started. "An arm around somebody is just an arm around somebody."

Katy nodded before she scooted over to him putting an arm around him pulling him closer to her making me smile at their closeness.

"Okay, what is that?" My dad asked as him moved around a bit.

"What are you doing?" Katy asked him as their faces were close to each other.

She pulled away from giving him a look before walking away as soon as she got up my dad followed her. While they walked away Jay and I noticed Riley and Maya were looking at the scene through the window. Jay and I turned to each other before shaking our heads with smiles.

We turned back to the scene in front of us.

"I know what things mean." Katy chuckled sadly wiping the counter. "I mean, I'm a woman I have instincts. And your charity doesn't extend to me so you don't need to ask me on a date-"

When she said that some hope for them getting together raised.

'Maybe there is a chance for them to happen' I thought with a smile.

"Woah, wait a minute are you asking me on a date?" My dad asked her.

"What! No!" Katy blushed.

"Katy, you seem mad at me for no reason." My dad told her. "Did you think there's a chance that you're actually mad at somebody else who's not me."

"I didn't view my marriage as disposable." Katy told him as she tried to stay on topic. "I was all in I said those things to him in front of God and I meant it."

"Yeah I get it." Shawn nodded. "Yeah, I thought my first real girlfriend was gonna be the one forever. I wanted-I wanted Angela-"

This time he got cut off by Katy laughing loudly.

"Angela, what kind of name-" She tried to laugh but couldn't. "No Angela's a fine name. It's my mother's name actually."

"Yeah, I wanted us to be some version of Cory and Topanga." My dad admitted. "But you know there's only one version of those. Katy relationships end out of nowhere on a sunny day and you pick yourself up and rebuild and you don't look back."

Katy looked at my dad with mixed emotions but before either of them could answer Cory and my mom entered Topanga's in a rush.

"It's really bad." My mom said instantly.

"What?" My dad and Katy asked.

"Knock, knock." Cory said instead.

"Who's there?" Dad asked confused.

"The only person who can change your life from things are going pretty good right now to Ahh!" Cory said very quickly yelling at the end.

"The only person who can change my life from things are going pretty good right now to-" My dad said with Cory yelling at the end. "Who?"

"Well..." My mom trailed off.

Just then someone sort of familiar came in making my dad go a bit pale.

"Hey." She smiled.

Cory and my mom looked between her and my dad with worry looks not knowing what may happen next.

"Angela." My dad said with a wavery voice.

"Oh my gosh." I whispered as Jay and I looked at each other in shock but I had a worry look as well which he noticed so he put an arm around me for comfort which I smiled in thanks.

"Boy, look at you you're here." My dad told her still very shocked.

"I need to talk to you." Angela told him as she pointed at him.

My dad nervously smiled before they went in for a quick hug which made everyone look at dad and Katy in worry.

"Awkward." Cory nodded. "I now pronounce you awkward."

"Shut it, Cornelius!" My mom whispered yelled at him.

Cory decided it was smart to ignore her so he continued, "Hey remember in high school when he found your purse. Remember he got handcuffed at the boathouse, that was a good one. Remember you and him for a while then you went away? Let me show you what it looks like."

Cory then rushed out of Topanga's leaving my mom to stand awkwardly between the ex's.

"Well... I'm just going to show that too." My mom chuckled nervously before turning to Angela. "Good to see you again, Ang." My mom quickly hugged her before running out Topanga's as well.

Katy then walked up to the duo introducing herself, "Hi, Angela, I'm Katy Shawn speaks highly of you." Katy told her shaking her hand.

"Oh, well I think highly of him." Angela smiled shaking Katy's hand.

"Oh, well so do I." Katy smiled nervously still shaking Angela's hand but very slowly before letting go. "Well I'm going to leave you two alone."

Katy then walked outside like Cory and my mom did so now it was only Jay and me with them two.

"We should-"

I cut him of by whispering, "Yes."

We get up from the bay window silently but then Jay dropped him water bottle which made noice because it was made of metal.

"Idiot!" I exclaimed since both my dad and Angela turned to us.

"I know!" Jay exclaimed picking up his bottle.

Since they already turned I turned to Angela saying, "Hi, you may not remember me but I'm-"

"Vanessa!" Angela smiled giving me a hug which I returned. "You are so beautiful!"

"Thank you." I smiled.

She smiled before turning to Jay who said, "Hi, I'm Jason Smith." He shook hands with her. "And I'm not her boyfriend."

"Was that really necessary?" I asked him.

"Yes." He nodded. "Everyone is assuming that already so I'm just gonna say that."

I was about to say something but then just shrugged, "You're not wrong." I turned to my dad saying, "Well, dad we'll leave you to be."

"Why don't you stay?" Dad asked me nervously.

"Because..." Jay looked at the scripts in our hands. "We need to go through our lines."

"You two doing a school play?" Angela asked us.

"No, Broadway." We told her which made her look at us in shock.

"So, can't you guys go over it later?" My dad asked really not wanting to be alone.

"No."

"Why not?" He asked.

"Yeah, we're not going to lie right now." I shook my head. "We just don't want to be part the awkwardness."

"So..." We trailed off walking back. "Peace!"

When we got to the door way Angela turned back to my dad as Jay was pulled to the left side with my mom, Riley and Cory while I got pulled to the right side with Katy and Maya.

"Your daughter is really beautiful." Angela told him trying to get the conversation started.

"She really is." My dad smiled making me smile.

After a couple seconds of silence Angela told him, "I really missed you."

"Yeah?" He asked. "Well you have a funny way of letting someone know."

"She seems nice." Maya said as I sat next to her and everyone else was in front of us sitting at the table. "She's really pretty."

"I'm sorry Maya,Vee." Riley apologized.

"For what?" Maya asked while I looked confused.

"It's my fault." Riley told us. "You hope for things you get smashed. You're right, I'm wrong and I'm sorry."

Maya and I shared a look before I nodded and she told Riley, "Everything will turn out the way it should in the end."

"How can you say that?" Riley asked us. "That's Angela she's going to take him away."

"I'm not giving up hope yet." Maya shook her head.

"And I always have hopes for the impossible." I shrugged. "Let's see if it's worth it."

"Why?" She asked Maya confused why we especially Maya was so hopeful.

"I just got it." Maya smiled.

I saw Cory, Katy and my mom smiling at us but still looking worried while Jay moved his chair to sit next to me giving Maya and me reassuring expressions.

Suddenly Riley got up from her chair and walked into Topanga's making Maya and I turn to each other before we looked through the window as Jay joined us as well.

"Hello." Riley greeted Angela weirdly I suppose she tried to glare before she turned around going behind the counter getting things.

"Well, did you hear my dad died?" Angela asked Shawn.

"Oh, no, Angela I'm so sorry." Shawn told her with a sadden look.

"Military man, war hero, and he dies fishing." Angela tells him.

"I liked him." Shawn informed her.

"Oh, he liked you." Angela smiled.

Riley then came back around smiling at Angela saying, "Bye."

"You know I think about him everyday." Angela admits as she sits down. "Hey, do you still have that thing where you know you can feel your dad standing right next to you."

"I do." My dad admits nodding his head. "Yeah, he was barely there when I was alive but no that he is gone I can absolutely depend on him to show up the most important times in my life." He walked over to the couch next to her. "Angela why are you here?"

"I need someone to talk to and it could only be you. How about that." She told him.

"Okay."

"What do you call this?" Cory asked his daughter as we all surrounded the table.

"Well we've got a storm going on so, uh, hurricane picnic." Riley told him making us smile to one another before we grabbed a chip taking a bite of it.

Since Jay and I were close to the door we could hear the conversation.

"What's going on?" My dad asked her.

"I'm married now." Angela said holding up her ring.

"Yay!" Maya and I cheered maybe a bit too loud.

"How long you've been married?" Shawn asked her.

"Four years he's a military man." She responded.

"Why'd you leave me?" My dad asked her.

"I wasn't ready." She responded him.

"And then you were."

"Well life moves on, Shawn." Angela tells him. "You know I think life puts people in front of us so that we can be prepared for what comes next. I was ready because of you."

"Hope life knows what it's doing." My dad said.

Cory put a reassuring hand on Katy as my mom pulled her into a side hug.

"Why did you come see me?" Shawn asked Angela.

"Okay, my husband wants to have children and you know that I've always been scared of being somebody's mother because my own mother left." Angela tells him.

"Yeah, I guess we were both broken that way." My dad tells Angela.

"Yeah, now he's trying to convince me that I'd make a good one and I need somebody who understands me to tell me what to do." She explains. "I mean I can't talk to my father he doesn't just show up for me like yours does. You're the only one I can trust with this."

"Have kids, Angela." My dad tells her. "Yeah it's terrifying at first because you have no idea what kind of parent you'll be but once you really think about it you realize that the more of you there are in the world you get to sit on a chair and watch them. You'd be amazed." His explanation made Maya and I smile knowing he was talking about us as the moms smiled at us. "The day I knew I was going to be a father did terrify me at first but as I was part of a lot of Vanessa's life moments those were one of the happiest moments I've ever experienced."

"We're here to make somebody else happy." He finished off.

"Thank you, Shawn." Angela thanked him. "I knew I could count on you to tell me what's right. Hey, can I tell you something right?"

"I wish somebody would." My dad chuckled.

Angela stood up and walked up to where Maya and I were watching.

"Who's that?" Angela pointed to Maya.

"That's Maya. One of Vanessa's best friends." My dad smiled.

"She has not taken her eyes off of you since I walked in." Angela smiled.

"She's someone I've grown very fond of." Shawn nodded.

"Hmm." She said before nodding the window. "And that's her mother?" Katy showed up next to me on my left.

"Katy, yeah, that's her mom." Shawn smiled.

The two blondes and I looked at each other before lowering ourselves to hide.

"Hm." Angela said. "Is she the one?"

"What? No." My dad denied.

"Is she the one, Shawn?!" Angela exclaimed in happiness.

"No." He denied again. "I don't know what, I don't know her enough to know anything."

"Well, let me tell you what's right." Angela tells him. "Let what we had make you ready for something. Life nows what it's doing."

A minute later she came out and smiled at us before turning to me and Jay saying, "I better get a date on that play."

I smiled at her as my mom tells her, "I'll make sure to send you the details, Ang."

"Good." Angela smiled side hugging my mom before she sent us all one last smile leaving.

Riley then went in and hugged her father.

"What's this for?" Cory asked.

"Nothing." Riley told him. "Everything. I think we're cute together."

"I know." Cory smiled.

°°°°°°
"How is it going in there, super spy?" Cory asked his soon as we were all, Cory, Shawn, Enrique, my mom, Topanga, Katy, Maya, Riley, Jay, Auggie and me, at Demolition.

"It's bad man." Auggie opened the curtain. "I think she's up to about a million dollars."

Cory had a worried look while my dads just smile at him and since my mom didn't want to get anything she was smiling as well.

Topanga opened the curtain more before existing the change room.

"I don't really like any of it." Topanga told her husband. "I like the ones Vee got for me."

I smiled at her as Cory just laughs with a smile saying, "Who's better than you?"

My dad turned to Katy asking her, "Hey, can I buy you an outfit?"

"He's really good at it." Maya told her mom as she walked up to her taking me with her.

"No, no, you can't buy me anything." Katy shook her head. "We hardly know each other."

"Oh, asking me out on a date?" Dad asked sarcastically.

"Yeah." Katy smiled nervously making Maya and I look at each other with smiles.

"What?" Dad asked getting up from his chair. "Seriously? Right here in front of everyone?"

"Sure." Katy smiled. "It'll be real bad for me if you said no right now."

"Uncle Shawn." Riley walked to him.

"Yeah?" He turned to her.

~Shawn's POV~

"This is like a real important moment in your life." Riley tells me.

"Yeah, I think it is." I agreed turning to Katy, Maya and Vanessa.

"How are you gonna handle this, ace?" Maya asked me as my daughter just smirks at me.

"Tell you how you gonna handle it son." My dad showed up for me. "Take a look at that tough little girl's face. Know what she's doing?" He asked me. "She's letting her guard down just enough to let you know she cares about you." He then turned to Vanessa. "And look at my beautiful granddaughter always trying to do what's best for others, putting others happiness over her own and right now she's trying to get all of your happiness to happen. Are you going to let her down?"

"So how are you gonna handle that because you got to decide right now, what that means to you." My dad told me. "And then take a look at Maya's screwball of a mother." I smiled at Katy just because her nervousness made me realize she did have feelings for me as well. "Do yourself a favor. I noticed how she might be wonderful."

"You going to leave me hanging or what?" Katy asked me as the three of them are waiting for my answer.

"And finally, trust me take a look at the expressions on them faces you know what that is?" My dad asked me. "Hope. Funny thing is they could use just about exactly as much of it as you can. Show if those little girls can let their guard down, why can't you?"

"Maya, would it be okay with you-"

"Okay let it out." Riley said seeing the expression in Maya and Vanessa's faces.

"Yay!" They screamed in happiness.

Once they were done I turned to Katy saying, "Katy, I'd love to go on a date with you. Thanks for asking." I smiled.

Katy smiled at me as she nods.

"That's my boy." My dad smiled at me before leaving.

Suddenly one of Vanessa's friends, Lucas I think, came in and swung her over his shoulder.

"What the heck!" Vanessa exclaimed.

"15 points, ha!" He exclaimed to Jason.

"No!" Jason exclaimed as Lucas ran out of the store but we heard Vanessa exclaim, "What the heck is the point of this game!"

New update, amors!! Hope you liked it!

What do you guys think of Jason and Vanessa's new clothing style?

How do you think Katy and Vanessa's relationship is? How about Maya and Vanessa's?

Do you guys think Vanessa and Enrique have a good father daughter relationship even though he isn't her birth father?

Should I post more about them actually rehearsing with the rest of the cast for the play and scenes with the Ross kids and Jessie? Should I add in more jealous Farkle scenes?

When do you think Samantha should become an official main character?
