Marinette's POV
We're walking to our new classroom, but I was less focused on that and more on the fact that Adrien was Chat... all those times that I noticed slight similarities and put them in the back of my mind I should have... ugh!
We stop walking at a door with a sign above that says 1-A. I could hear it getting quieter in there.
Nezu walks in and says we're ready, he lets us in, we introduce ourselves and Aizawa asks us if we're settled in. I nod to let him know I am and he says, "Good, now I'm going to sleep."
He gets in a yellow sleeping bag and falls to the floor. Even before he hits the ground me and Adrien are surrounded with our new classmate's. I look around at all of them and notice that some of them look odd. I guess that's a part of the whole quirk thing. They all started talking at once and I couldn't distinguish one person's voice from another's. That's when a guy with engines coming out of his calves spoke louder than them all.
"They can't answer your questions if you bombard them with them all at once." This shuts everyone up.
"Thank you." I say. I look over to Adrien who looks overwhelmed.
"No problem," he says, "I'm Tenya Iida." He holds out his hand for me to shake. I accept his offer and shake back.
I look back to the main crowd and I see everyone. I take a deep breath, okay I'm ready now.
"Hello everyone, I'm Marinette, over there is Adrien, me and him will try and answer your questions the best we can but you have to take turns talking." I say. Everyone seems to understand.
I turn and look at a boy with green hair and I let him know he can talk.
"Hi I'm Midoriya, Where are you two from?"
"Me and him are from Paris."
"Why are you going here? I mean does that mean you two are powerful?" A kid with a black lighting thing in his hair says, "Oh and I'm Kaminari."
"Umm I'd like to think we're powerful." I said still not knowing what my quirk was.
"Cool, what's your Quirks?" A girl who looked like a frog said. Oh no, this is the question I was scared of. I look over at Adrien who looks just as nervous as I am.
"That's for me to know, and you to find out." I told them. I didn't know how much longer I could hold on. If they ask the wrong question I don't know what I'll say. I didn't want people to know that we we're from a completely different place. I don't know them and we don't know enough of what happened to say anything. This was bad... I just wanted to... disappear.
"Hey, how come you don't show up on camera?" A kid with balls on his head said. Wait what? Since when do I not?
'Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I can't leave the earrings.' I heard a familiar voice say in my head. 'You know us kwami's can't show up on camera.' Oh that makes sense, wait, can you hear my thoughts? 'Yes I can... Our bond is even stronger than it was before. I feel that I'm not actually in your earrings but I'm more a part of you.' She said. Wow, that's weird. 'I know, it feels weird too.' I knew what she was saying, I could feel the difference too.
"Maybe it does have something to do with my quirk." I told him. Great, now I'm creating more questions. "Hey, were you gonna take a picture of me?" I asked, trying to get some attention off me. And it worked, in fact it looked like most of them got a bit mad. One girl, with what looked like earphone jack's as long earlobes, stuck him in the eye with it.
"Ow!" He exclaimed.
"Sorry... He's a bit of a perv." A girl with black spiky hair said. " By the way I'm Yaoyorozu and the one that just stuck Minetea in the eye is Jirō." I look over to Jirō and she waves a bit.
"Thanks for that." I say. "What time does this class end?"
"Umm..." Midoriya says looking at the clock, "In about five minutes." Great, I had to go through five more minutes of questioning.
Then the class door opens and in comes a scrawny looking man with blonde hair. "Hey I heard this class had two new students."
I can't tell if this saves me from more questions or puts me in danger of them.
"All Might!" I heard Midoriya say. Suddenly a twinkle in his eyes shone. I could tell he truly admired him. I stand up.
"That would be me and him." I say pointing to Adrien. I look back and he's standing up too. I turn back to him and I say, "I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng."
"And I'm Adrien Agreste, sir." He says stumbling on his words. Wow, he really looses all confidence when he's not behind a mask...
"I'm All Might." He says, "I may teach a few classes here and there and you'll see me in the halls. I just wanted to come by, introduce myself, and check out the new blood."
"Tsh-" I hear the blonde with spiky hair who sits in front of me say. Then he walks straight past All Might out of the classroom.
"Sorry about young Bakugo." All Might says rubbing the back of his neck, "He has a temper problem"
"Oh no, it's fine!" I said. "I'm sure I can deal with it."
I look at the clock, wow, the five minutes really went by fast, thank God.
"Well it looks like class is over." I said. Some people started walking out. As they we're that's when I realized, I have no clue where I'm going.
"So do you know what dorm room you're in?" Midoriya asks me and Adrien. Wait, dorms? Nezu never said anything about that.
"Nope not yet." I said, "we have to go see Nezu again for that."
"I'll take you." All Might offered.
I turned to him, "lead the way."
We all walked out the classroom. Me, Adrien, and All Might going one direction the rest of the class going the other. I whisper to Adrien,
"Why didn't you say anything?"
"Because I was nervous I was going to say the wrong thing." He said, "You seemed to have it down so I went with it."
"What are you two whispering about?" We hear.
"Oh nothing." I say nervously. He stops walking and turns around to face us.
"Look, Nezu told me about you two." He says. "You don't have to tell me anything, but if you want to, my door is always open. I know how hard it can be to keep a secret." He gives a warm and comforting smile to both of us. He turns back around and continues to walk us the way. I walk up next to him.
"Thank you."
"For what?"
"Earlier, you saved me from all those questions, plus right now, for being so kind and leading the way."
"Anytime, after all that's what I'm here for." He stops at a familiar door and opens it to a familiar room and a familiar face.
"Back so soon?" We hear from inside.
"Well yes... You never told us where we'd be staying." I said.
"Oh, yes!" He gets up and goes into one of his drawers and pulls out two items. He hands one to me and one to Adrien. "The room numbers are on the keys, you'll be staying in the dorms." He turns to All Might, "Can you show them the way?"
"Of course." He says "Gladly," he turns and starts walking. "This way." We, of course, follow him once more.
Once we get there a group of our new classmates are waiting for us. All Might saves us, yet again from their questions, just before anyone can say anything. "I think they have had a long day, why don't you ask them your questions tomorrow." He says and everyone complies.
He first leads Adrien to his dorm.
"Goodnight Adrien." I say.
"Goodnight Marinette." He weakly says back. I think today took a lot out of him.
Next All Might leads me to my dorm all the way on the other side of the building. I say my final goodnight to All Might and thank him for the help.
Once I close the door, I finally relax, for the first time all day. I take a minute to myself and sit on the bed. After that I look around the room. There's a dresser, a bed, a desk, a chair.... pretty basic setup. I look in the drawers and I see that there are already some clothes my size in them.
Some PJs, another school uniform and two gym outfits. I close the drawers and look at the desk. There, they're some basic school supplies, about 6000 yen ($55) and some food bars.
All of a sudden my stomach growled and I realized that I hadn't eaten all day. I took a few and got them down quickly. After that I went back to the drawers and put on some PJ's. I laid down on the bed and was out, even before my head hit the pillow.
