Later,Makoto is talking to a bunch of students who later leaves and Akira arrives.
"What's wrong?"Akira asked.
"The students got suspicious when I asked them where they hang out after school.I just want to get some insight.I don't know enough about anyone else,so I'd like to close the distance between and make myself more useful."Makoto said.
"How about we go somewhere next time?"Akira asked.
"What?"Makoto asked.
"Karaoke or an arcade?Maybe we'll find some students there."Akira said.
"That makes sense.Then I'll maybe I'll have you take me."Makoto said.
Later,Akira and Makoto are in the arcade playing a shooting game.
"So this is where everyone hangs out.I had no idea."Makoto said and then an enemy shoots the screen and Makoto is surprised.
"Wha?No way!"Makoto said and screams as the screen says 'GAME OVER'.
They got out of the arcade shortly.
"Oh,so that's how it is."Makoto said.
"To be honest,you were really into it."Akira said.
"Of course,that was just a game but,I wonder if I could apply some of the techniques I learned here during battle."Makoto said.
"You're so sharp."Akira said.
"Perhaps going somewhere I don't normally frequent is what helped me come up with that idea.You know,it may only be a little bit.But I'm starting to understand how people pass time.Interesting,I would've never seen even thought about coming here before."Makoto said.
"You still have much to learn,though."Akira said.
"I...Hey,do you think you could help me out again later?I might be able to give the team more ideas if I can gain increased knowledge outside of my studies."Makoto said.
"I look forward to it."Akira said.
"I need to live up to your expectations now that I've taken up your time.Perhaps it won't be immediately...but I'm sure I can be of use.By the way,you went to the red-light district when you were chasing Kaneshiro right?I'd like to go there as well.No!N-Not for my own purposes.To tell you the truth,I recently got a report that one of our students was spotted there.I'm skeptical but...I'd like to confirm firsthand for myself."Makoto said.
"Sure.After we deal with Kaneshiro,ok?"Akira said.
"Of course.By the way,it's getting late.Let's go home.See ya!"Makoto said.
Thursday,June 23
Meanwhile,the Phantom Thieves and Giorno are at the Palace and Giorno is now wearing blue.
"By the way,what would be Giorno's codename?"Ann asked.
"Hmm.To be honest,it's pretty difficult.More difficult than giving Makoto a nickname."Yusuke said.
"Got any ideas,Joker?"Ryuji asked.
"I don't."Akira said.
"Don't worry.I already came up with a codename."Giorno said.
"Really?"Ann asked.
"So what's your codename,Giorno?"Morgana asked.
"My codename is...GioGio."Giorno said.
"Dude,did you just combine your first name and last name together?"Ryuji asked.
"I think that nickname's pretty cool."Makoto said.
"Agreed."Yusuke said.
"Alright,alright.Let's just go to the Palace already."Ryuji said.
Later,The Phantom Thieves and Giorno are in the underground vault and they are solving a PIN entry panel and Akira is types 010.
"Next?"Akira asked.
"I think it's 2 at the end."Giorno said.
Then the first Vault suddenly opened.
"What the!?The whole vault just moved!?"Ryuji said.
"So my deduction may be correct."Makoto said.
"There's still more vaults.If we open all of them,we can find the treasure."Giorno said.
Then they hear Kaneshiro's voice.
"Money...I need more money...I must grow richer!As long as I'm rich anything will be possible."Kansehiro's voice said.
"That voice...it's Kaneshiro!Is he watching us?"Ann asked.
"That doesn't seem to be the case."Giorno said.
"It sounds more like the voice of his heart.I guess all he really thinks about is money,after all."Morgana said.
"So he blackmails people outta their savings and that's still not enough?What a douche."Ryuji said.
"More importantly,the message in the journal was the PIN code!"Ann said.
"Yes,it seems so...but I doubt it will be that easy from this point forward."Yusuke said.
"The rest of the pages were torn out of the journal.Who knows what clues they may hold."Giorno said.
"Well,let's not pessimistic.We should look around and try to find other clues.Time to head further in and find those PINs!"Morgana said.
TIMESKIP
Soon after,they were able to open all vaults.
"H-Hey,this is an elevator,yeah?So a way down really did show up.You're like some kinda prophet,Queen."Ryuji said.
"It's mostly thanks to that notebook.We wouldn't be here if it weren't for that.More importantly,did you hear all those things Shadow Kaneshiro was saying?"Makoto asked.
"Oh,yeah!I was wondering about that!Didn't he seem kinda...insecure or something?"Ann asked.
"That sounds correct.Plus,he kept bringing up how rich and powerful he wants to be."Giorno said.
"So if he's insecure about that crap...he thinks he's really just some poor weakling,huh?"Ryuji said.
"Maybe by thinking he was going to be a strong,wealthy man..."Makoto stops talking.
"He convinced himself it was true."Giorno said.
"I wonder...Well we will discover the truth for ourselves when we change his heart.Let us hurry,Joker."Yusuke said and they enter the elevator.
Later,they arrived at the heart of the vault and they see the treasure.
"There it is!The Treasure!"Morgana said.
"So that's the treasure.Looks...odd."Giorno said.
"Not yet.It's not materialized."Akira said.
"From here on we're gonna need this callin' card thing."Ryuji said.
"A calling card?"Giorno asked.
"I see.Making the target believe that the Treasure is in danger will cause it to materialize."Makoto said.
"That's a bold trick.But...it sounds good to me."Giorno said.
"Huh?They understood?"Ann asked.
"Joker,we'll defer to you regarding its timing."Yusuke said.
"Ok guys,let's get ready for the heist!"Morgana said and they exit the Palace.
Friday,June 24
Meanwhile,a man,who is holding a card,approaches Kaneshiro.
"Excuse me,sir but,uh,I found this on the car.There's something written on it."The man said.
"Hm?Read it."Kaneshiro said.
"Um,but..."The man said.
"I said,read it!"Kaneshiro said and the man clears his throat and he reads the card.
"Sir Junya Kaneshiro,the money-devouring sinner of gluttony...you indulge in scamming others with horrendous methods that target minors exclusively.We have decided to make you confess all your crimes with your own mouth.We will take your distorted desires without fail.From,The Phantom Thieves.I-Isn't this bad?"The man asked.
"What of it?"Kaneshiro asked.
"I-If something happened to you...I mean,if the higher-ups find out about this..."The man stops talking.
"Don't waste your time worrying about this useless crap.Just keep quiet for now."Kaneshiro said.
"B-But it's...posted all around the city.People are talking about it online too."The man said.
"Grr...All of you,bring me your earnings!If you don't surpass your quota...I'll kill you."Kaneshiro ordered.
"Y-Yes,sir!"The man said and he leaves and then Shadow Kaneshiro appears.
"Phantom Thieves?Don't make me laugh."Shadow Kaneshiro said and Kaneshiro appears.
"Hey,we're leaving.They'll pay for this."Kaneshiro said.
Meanwhile,The Phantom Thieves and Giorno,who is still wearing his blue outfit,are now in the accessway.
"Looks like the calling card's been posted all over Shibuya."Giorno said.
"A good idea,no?"Makoto asked.
"Given the theatrical nature of this one,Kaneshiro must surely have been contacted about it."Giorno said.
"You 2 are like the brains of this Phantom Thieves operation!Ryuji,you should follow their example!"Morgana said.
"Y'know,I'm the one who went postin' it everywhere,right!?"Ryuji asked.
"I was with you,remember?"Giorno asked.
"Oh,right.Sorry.Also,we even had to get all dressed up so they wouldn't notice us!"Ryuji said.
"Let's not talk about this right now.We need to move.Right now."Giorno said.
"Giorno's right.We don't have time for idle chitchat."Makoto said.
"We're going up against a truly horrible criminal this time."Ann said.
"And we're teaming up with a Mafia boss too.Also,that prick ain't gonna stop us now that we got our 2 awesome new members!You 2 remember how this works?"Ryuji asked.
"Yes.Once we steal the Treasure..."Giorno stops talking.
"The Palace will crumble and the Palace ruler's heart will change."Makoto said.
"Wow,you guys got that quick!I think Ryuji's still struggling to comprehend it all."Morgana said.
"Evil adults are nothing more than garbage and I am no better.I will resolve this,I swear it!"Makoto said.
"Sounds like you're fired up,Queen!Alright,Joker!Give us the signal!"Morgana said.
"Let's do this."Akira said.
"That's the answer I've been waiting for."Giorno said and he smiles.
Later,The Phantom Thieves and Giorno are now in the heart of the vault to see that the room is turned into a safe.
"W-What the hell?!"Ryuji said.
"He changed the entire room into a safe so quickly!Tch,I guess this Palace isn't bank for nothing."Morgana said and then they hear footsteps.They turn around to see Shadow Kaneshiro and his men.
"Greetings.Welcome to my private city bank.I'm surprised you made it here alive.It seems you are quite lucky.Oh,and I see that you already have a new member besides Ms.Nijima.What are you doing here?This has nothing to do with you.Only them."Shadow Kaneshiro said.
"I'm helping them defeat evil adults like you from the inside out,Kaneshiro!"Giorno said.
"And we're gonna change your heart and make you confess everything you've done.That'll save all those people who're suffering 'cause of your actions!Even with police're strugglin' to deal with you,so this'll make the public believe in us too!"Ryuji said.
"Those in power work the ones below them to the bone for the money.Such is the hierarchy of the world.Just accept your fate as a source of my wealth!"Shadow Kaneshiro ordered.
"We'll never agree to that!"Yusuke said.
"And hierarchy?You have to be out of your mind."Ann said.
"All of that was forced on me too,you know!?I went through crap until I crawled out of the dregs!Now it's my turn to profit on everyone else!"Shadow Kaneshiro said.
"Still!Don't you think you're getting back at the wrong people?"Ann asked.
"What a pitiful man."Giorno said.
"It doesn't matter whether you're clean or dirty!Only the clever come out on top!The strong and the smart devour the weak.That is the natural order of things.You damn brats who think you know the world through the crap you read online will make the perfect prey."Shadow Kaneshiro said.
"Hmph.He is utterly hopeless."Makoto said.
"It's always the fool who get tricked!Fools who have to pay for their foolishness.And if the fools don't learn,well they have to suck it up and stay as plain,stupid fools!"Shadow Kaneshiro said.
"Will you just shut it already?!"Ryui said.
"I guess there's not much point saying anything to you fools!This is where my gracious lecture ends.Now then,I hope you're ready to work as slaves here for the rest of your lives.Especially you,kid."Shadow Kaneshiro said.
"That's outrageous!"Yusuke said and Shadow Kaneshiro snickers.
"I'm gonna swarm all over you...and squeeze out every last penny!"Shadow Kaneshiro said as he rubs his hands and something grows behind his back making his men terrified and they run away in fear.
Then fly wings emerge from his back and his eyes starts to look like the eyes of a fly.
"A fly?"Giorno said.
"I can take care of this myself.Wassup yo?Come get some!"Shadow Kaneshiro said.
"You filthy fly on dirty money...Get the hell out of my face!"Makoto said and Shadow Kaneshiro laughs.
"Aight,here we go,yeh pieces of crap!"Shadow Kaneshiro said and all of them readied themselves.
TIMESKIP
Later,someone is watching The Phantom Thieves and Giorno fighting Kaneshiro through a CCTV camera.
Akira fires his gun at Shadow Kaneshiro while Ann strikes him with her whip but he deflects them.
"Yo-yo-yo,that doesn't hurt a bit,yo!Your fierce attacks are like a handful of thumbtacks!"Shadow Kaneshiro said as he keeps deflecting their attacks.
But then,Gold Experience Requiem's arm appeared and punches Shadow Kaneshiro in the face.
Then Gold Experience Requiem continues to deliver more punches.
MUDA!MUDA!MUDA!MUDA!MUDA!MUDA!MUDA!MUDA!MUDA!MUDA!MUDA!MUDA!
The punches sent Shadow Kaneshiro to the air and he slammed against the metal wall of his safe.
"You managed to give him a direct hit!Nice one,GioGio!"Morgana said.
Then,Kaneshiro scowls and gets up.
"Argh!Looks like I gotta bring out my big guns!"Shadow Kaneshiro said.
"Hmph.All buzz and no bite.You truly are a dirty fly,Kaneshiro."Giorno said.
"Hehehehe.We'll see about that!Time to roll out!Here he is...my guardian robot!"Shadow Kaneshiro said as he enters the safe which opens,revealing a gigantic robotic piggybank and he lands on top of it.
"Gyahahahahahahaha!Yeh ready to die!?"Shadow Kameshiro said.
"What the hell is that?"Ryuji asked.
"A pig?!"Morgana said.
"It ain't a pig,yo!This is my Palace's swine-model defensive mechanoid,Piggytron!Goin' against me's a real bad crime,yeh know?It's time for yeh go to hell!"Shadow Kaneshiro said.
"Dammit.I didn't expect he'd have something like this up his sleeve!Joker!Have us regroup if think we're at disadvantage!We need to take that robot down but we'll be in trouble if it attacks us when we're weakened!"Morgana said and Akira nods.
Then the Piggytron brings out its guns.
"Everyone!Run!"Giorno yelled as it fires at them and they run away as fast as they can.
"Some pig,huh?He had a secret weapon!"Morgana said.
"Yo,yo,yo anyone who defies me,yo gets the old heave-ho!"Shadow Kaneshiro said and then the Piggytron starts to fire missiles at them but they dodge it.
"And so you brats find there's real hell to pay,you're all gonna die,but have a nice day!"Shadow Kaneshiro said and the Phantom Thieves are tired of running.
"Dammit,he's not giving us a chance to fight back!"Ryuji said.
"Don't worry about that,Sakomoto."Giorno said.
"Huh?"Ryuji asked and then a huge tree emerges from the ground underneath the Piggytron and it knocks the Piggytron and Shadow Kaneshiro down.
(cue Giorno theme (best part) )
"W-What the hell?!"Shadow Kaneshiro said.
"Did he just...grow a tree?"Ryuji asked.
"That's amazing!"Ann said.
Soon Shadow Kaneshiro is on the ground and Giorno approaches him making Shadow Kaneshiro back away in fear.
"Ahhh!F-Forgive me!I won't mess with you brats,I swear!"Shadow Kaneshiro said.
"Oh please.Hearing you grovel from a human being like you is just pathetic.More importantly,it's useless."Giorno said as Gold Experience Requiem appears and Shadow Kaneshiro whimpers in fear as Gold Experience Requiem delivers a flurry of powerful kicks.

Soon after,Shadown Kaneshiro is defeated and a bunch of huge gold comes out of the Piggytron that they later destroyed.
"Kaneshiro!"Makoto said.
"I'm not gonna let anyone have it...this is my money."Shadow Kaneshiro said.
"Your money?You stole all of it from innocent people!"Giorno said.
"Fine.I'll call off the debt."Shadow Kaneshiro said.
"Fine?You're still soundin' pretty condescendin'"Ryuji said.
"You're right.I'm a poor,ugly,idiot.How am I supposed to live a normal life like this?It's all because of our society!Weak people can't lead a happy life,no matter what they do!I'm a victim too,you know?!Yeah,none of this is my fault!"Shadow Kaneshiro said.
"The more you talk,the more pathetic you sound."Yusuke said.
"I just wanted a place where I could belong!You get that,don't you?!"Shadow Kaneshiro asked.
"Bullcrap!All you did was surround yourself with people you could use,solely for some easy money!"Ann said.
"And you think you're the only one who's gotta deal with bein' labeled?Me...and all these other guys...we're fightin' against that!"Ryuji said.
"But don't worry.You'll finally have a place where you belong."Makoto said.
"A place where you can make amends,for the rest of your life."Giorno said.
"We're gonna do something about that distorted heart of yours.Free of charge."Ryuji said as Shadow Kaneshiro is about to return to the real Kaneshiro.
"I'm glad you understand.Now,hurry up and return to the real Kaneshiro."Yusuke said.
"Seriously?You guys don't have any tact.Especially with that incredible power.These Palaces could net you loads of cash!You could do whatever you wanted to people's hearts!"Shadow Kaneshiro said.
"We're not like you,Kaneshiro."Giorno said.
"Where do you find meaning in that naive sense of justice?You know,there's already someone out there taking full advantage of what Palaces have to offer."Shadow Kaneshiro said making the Phantom Thieves and Giorno shocked.
"What?"Makoto asked.
"What are you talking about?"Giorno asked.
"I'll let you in a little something...there's a criminal using other Palaces to accomplish whatever they damn well please.They don't care about consequences.Psychotic breakdowns,mental shutdowns...anything goes."Shadow Kaneshiro said.
"Is that...the same person Madarame's shadow spoke of?"Yusuke asked.
"Spill it!Who're you talkin' about!?"Ryuji asked demandingly and Shadow Kaneshiro snickers.
"Don't even bother.You are nothing compared to them.Better be careful.A chance encounter with them could prove fatal."Shadow Kaneshiro said as he returns to the real world and he disappears.
Then,the Palace starts shaking.
"We can think about that later!Grab the Treasure;there's no time!"Yusuke said.
"C'mon!We should take that large one over there.Wait,Morgana?"Giorno said as they turn to see Morgana staring at the Treasure in awe.
"MRRRRROOOOOOW!T-Treasure!"Morgana said.
"Can someone explain what's gotten into him?"Makoto asked.
"This is soooo coooooool!Wowwweee,being a human is greatttttt!"Morgan said as turns around.
"It's...it's...it's....shiny,shiny,golddd!"Morgana said as he pounces at Ann's face.
"Hrgh!?L-Leff ho off mee!"Ann said as she removes Morgana and throws him and Morgana is now in his vehicle form.
"You shouldn't throw animals,dammit!"Morgana said.
"Enough,already!Let's get it in,everyone!Hurry!"Ann said.
"He can turn into a vehicle?How bizzare."Giorno said as he enters the vehicle and they steal the Treasure.
Later,everyone is in the real world.
"Owww."Ann said.
"I think I cracked my ass."Ryujo said.
"Ann,are you all right?Is yours cracked as well?"Yusuke asked.
"If it is,I'll heal you up."Giorno said.
"Of course not!"Ann said.
"Isn't it supposed to be though?"Makoto asked.
"Urgh,that's not what I mean!More importantly,it's dangerous for us to just charge out like that!Ack,everyone's staring at us!"Ann said.
"At least,nobody was hurt."Giorno said.
"Uhhhh,I wouldn't say nobody."Ryuji as they turn around to see a gold briefcase on Morgana's head.
"That briefcase!"Ryuji said.
"It appears to have been the cause of Morgana's demise."Yusuke said.
"That's not what I meant!Isn't that Kaneshiro's..."Ryuji stops talking.
"Treasure?"Giorno asked.
"Hey,the light's red!"Makoto said as Ryuji rushes to Morgana and the briefcase.
"Where should we open it?"Makoto asked.
"How about at a karaoke?"Ann asked.
"I think a karaoke isn't a good place to open a briefcase.Plus,we'd have security cameras to worry about there."Giorno said.
"Oh,I got the perfect place."Ryuji said.
"Oh,that's right!"Ann said.
"I was just in the mood for some coffee too."Yusuke said.
"And we need to fix Morgana up!"Ann said.
"So...warm.."Morgana said weakly.
Later,everyone is in the attic of the cafe and Ann is healing Morgana with an ice pack.
"This place is oddly calming."Makoto said.
"So you do live here."Giorno said.
"Have you learned anything new?"Makoto asked.
"It's sealed by a rotary lock.We'll need the combination to open it."Yusuke said and Morgana screams in pain.
"MEOOOWGH!"Morgana screamed.
"A rotary lock,hm?"Makoto said as she examines the briefcase and starts to rotate the lock and it opens.
"I knew it."Makoto said.
"How did you get that?"Yusuke asked.
"I simply memorized the combination.I saw him open and close it so many times,after all."Makoto said.
"W-Well that's...scary.But amazin' too!"Ryuji said.
"Urghhh,that burns.Hey,hurry up and open it."Morgana said and they open the briefcase revealing tons of money with Kaneshiro's face on it.
"H-How much is this?"Ryuji asked.
"I believe one stack is 1,000,000 yen."Giorno said.
"1,2,3...uhhh,there's 30 of them in here!?"Ann asked.
"30,000,000 million yen...even after splitting it,we still each get 5,000,000!"Makoto said.
"Woah!It's gonna be delixe prok soup combo for me here on out!"Ryuji said.
"You have to think bigger than that."Morgana said.
"Not to bring down the excited mood,but does this money look real to you?"Yusuke asked.
"What?!"Ann askes as she looks closely at the money.
"Children's Bank?!"Ann said.
"For real?"Ryuji said.
"I'm guessing this was all an act to make himself seem tough."Giorno said.
"I agree."Makoto said.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"Ryuji said.
"Well hey,at least it feels like we totes busted this case right?"Ann asked.
"What do you mean?Is busting a case good or bad?"Makoto asked and Giorno laughs.
*Woah!I didn't expect Giorno to get the joke!"Ann thought.
"To think the reward for the Phantom Thieves is feeling they "totes busted" the case.That's a good one,Takamaki."Giorno said as he chuckles.
"Now,hold on a second.Even though the contents are nothing more than trash,the case itself is quite nice."Yusuke said.
"Alright then,let's sell it!Glad we got that sorted!"Ryuji said.
"By the way,Morgana,have any of your memories returned?"Yusuke asked.
"No,not at all."Morgana said.
"C'mon,did that hit your head make you forget even more?"Ryuji asked.
"It's easy for you to talk.You're not the one who lost your memories."Morgana said.
"You have amnesia?"Makoto asked.
"I didn't expect that."Giorno said.
"Something like that.He does remember searching for Treasures though."Ann said.
"Hm.I hope your memories return soon then."Makoto said.
"So...what happens next?"Giorno asked.
"First,we wait for Kaneshiro to have his change of heart.We have 15 days left."Morgana said.
"It's gonna be big this time.People're gonna make a hige deal out of it for sure."Ryuji said.
"Hey,you know what Kaneshiro said at the end there?About that criminal using the Metaverse?"Ann asked.
"Yes,I was bothered by that as well."Yusuke said.
"No point mullin' over it now.Let's wait and see how Kaneshiro's change of heart goes first.We should prolly just lay low for a while."Ryuji said.
"I never thought I'd hear those words coming from you,Sakamoto-kun."Makoto said.
"It's getting late.I'll head back to my hotel now.See you!"Giorno said.
"Bye,Giorno!"Ann said as Giorno heads downstairs and leaves the cafe.
