~Vanessa's POV~

"How am I going to tell him?!" I exclaimed to Jay as we walked around the hallways.

"You?! What about me?!" Jay exclaimed as we were at the top of the staircase. "I'm his best friend that has to kiss his sort of girlfriend!"

Four days ago Jay and I found out we have to kiss in the play and we still haven't told Farkle which is terrifying us.

We walked down the staircase and just before we got closer to the door I whispered to Jay, "Well, either way we have to tell him. I'm not going to keep this from him."

Jay sighed nodding his head in agreement before we walked into the class room seeing everything was a mess with Cory looking at the scene in front of him in shock.

"Here's our note, Uncle Cory." I told him handing him our note for coming late as Jay and I stood next to him stiff.

"Thank you two." Cory thanked us. "It seems like you two are the only ones without detention."

"Alright." We nod our heads but still looking nervous.

"Why do you two look so pale?" Maya asked us as our group looked at us in confusion and worry.

"Um, well, the thing is..." We started off quickly glancing at each other.

"Last Friday we went over our script and... we realized that-" I started off stuttering a bit.

"We need a manager!" Jay cut me off making me look at him as we had a quick silent conversation.

I turned to the class looking at our group exclaiming, "Yeah! We need a manager!"

"Oo, can I be your manager?!" Maya asked excitingly.

"Are you sure?" I asked her.

"Yeah, Maya, managers don't get a lot of free time." Jay explained to her.

"Well I mean I can take care of some stuff and get Farkle to take care of some other stuff." Maya told us before turning to him. "Right?"

"Yeah." Farkle nodded smiling at us. "Anything for my best friend and my Queen."

Jay and I turned to each other looking even more nervous than before turning to Maya and Farkle telling them, "You're hired!"

"Oh, it's okay we don't need to get paid." Farkle waved off.

Maya turned to him giving him a look saying, "Hold on I never said that."

"Yeah, if you guys are going through all this trouble at least let us do something." I nodded.

"250 a week." We told Maya.

Maya looked so happy that she got up from her seat and gave us a huge hug.

"You guys won't regret it." Maya told us as she sat down.

We nodded with still nervous smiles.

"Why do you guys still look so pale?" Riley asked us confused as was Bubs.

Jay and I turned to each other still not knowing how to say it so I turned to the girls asking them, "Guys, remember when we watched the movie A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits?"

"Yeah." They nodded.

"It was a real good movie." Riley smiled.

"I know right." I smiled nervously. "So you guys remember one of my favorite scenes between Reed and Tessa?"

"Of course we do it was on of the rare moments you squealed." Maya told me.

"Yeah." I nodded. "So what was the scene?"

The girls looked at each other confused before turning to me saying, "It was when Reed and Tessa finally ki-" They stopped once they realized why we looked so nervous standing up exclaiming, "You guys have to kiss each other?!"

"What?!" Lucas and Farkle exclaimed but Farkle stood up which led to him fainting back.

"Farkle!" I exclaimed I turned to Cory saying, "Yeah, continue the class I'm just going to try and get him to come to outside."

"Alright." Cory nodded so I went to Farkle pulling on his legs which was easy since he was light.

"What about me?" Jay asked me as I was near the door while he took a glance at Lucas who had a dangerous look on his face.

I looked up telling him, "You stay and pray that the girls keep Lucas from killing you."

Jay looked at Lucas nervously saying, "Make sure my funeral is good."

I nodded without responding closing the door before I sat Farkle on the bench.

"Farkle." I lightly slap his face trying to wake him up. "Farkle please get up."

I have been trying to wake him up for the last two or three minutes and so far I've made no progress so I did the only thing I could have thought of, I took a deep breathe and slowly leaned in to kiss him. I was about to let go but then I felt him kissing me back holding my cheek after a minute we let go of each other.

I flutter my eyes a bit before clearing my throat saying, "Well you finally came to, Amore."

Farkle softly smiled saying, "I'm sorry I guess I was just shock."

"Yeah I think I got that." I softly smiled sitting next to him. "I get that you were shock, so was I."

We stayed quiet for a bit before he asked me, "You guys really have to kiss each other?"

I sighed looking up softly saying, "Yes, we do." I nodded. "And this may not make it better but its not Jay and I kissing its our characters Reed and Tessa."

"Yeah." Farkle sighed before shaking his head. "It really doesn't."

"Yeah." I told him as I nodded in agreement causing us to chuckle softly. "And I get what you're feeling, if it was the other way around and you had to kiss another girl it would make me feel a bit...off."

"But it's not just some guy it's, Jace." Farkle told me.

"Jay and I are best friends, Farkle." I told him as I sighed. "And he's your's too. You have to be able to trust your best friend."

Farkle sighed shaking his head, "He's not my best friend."

"Farkle-" I sighed.

"He's not my best friend because he's my brother." Farkle finished himself making me smile at him happy that they see each other like that. "And I trust my brother more than anyone."

I smiled before kissing his cheek whispering to him, "I'm happy you have yourself a brother, Amore."

Farkle smiled moving his face closer to mine whispering, "Me too, love."

We smiled at one another before I ruined the moment softly asking, "Now how did you all manage to get yourselves into detention?"

Farkle chuckled causing me to smile as he continues, "Well..."

"I've always allowed you to bend the rules." Cory explained to the class where as Jay and I were sitting at his desk since he put us in charge to supervise them. "But the best of students know just how far they can push before those rules are broken. Today only two of you were those students."

Cory gestured Jay and I as we were going through the scripts. We looked up to see everyone looking at us.

"It's not just because we're good." I shrugged.

"Yeah we can do way worse if we wanted to." Jay told them as I nod in agreement.

"We're just too lazy to do anything." I informed as Jay nodded before we went back to doing what we were doing.

"But you know we're good people most of the time, don't you, daddy?" Riley asked her father but he didn't respond. "Daddy? You're my daddy."

"Why do we need rules at all?" Maya asked Cory.

"You think you could make it in a world without rules?" Cory asked her.

"I think we could do fine in any world." Maya shrugged.

"The rest of you think that?" Cory asked the class which got him nods of agreement with Maya. "Okay. Well, guess what guys. School's out. You've got the whole place to yourselves. No rules." Cory told them. "One hour to behave however you want. Let's see what becomes of you."

"Well, I think we'll be perfectly behaved ladies and gentlemen." Riley smiled.

"Yeah...no." Jay shook his head dropping his highlighter on the desk.

"You guys will be eating each other in a minute." I agreed with Jay setting my pen down as Cory nods knowing this will go crazy.

Cory grabs his brief case already walking out the door when Riley asked, "Where are you going?"

"I'm locking you in." Cory answered her. "The best punishment I can give is to force you to spend some time with yourselves. I'll see you in an hour. Whoever's left."

Cory locked the door leaving us here to supervise what happens to them all.

"I can't believe it. He locked us in." Riley said in disbelief.

"Really?" I asked her.

"Yeah, I saw this coming in the longest time. So I came prepared." Jay said as he pulled out some take out from Carl's Jr. from his backpack making me look at the food with wide eyes. "Dig in, Wolfy, you haven't eaten today."

"Thank you." I thanked him before grabbing a spicy chicken burger and some fries.

I looked up and I noticed Farkle has gotten a bit pale saying, "It's alright, it's not like I'm claustrophobic or anything. We're trapped. I can't breathe. There's more carbon dioxide than oxygen! The ratio is all wrong!"

"Amore, the amount of carbon dioxide and oxygen are the same as it was before the ratio is right. You can take a deep breathe." I reassured him which did cause him to relax a bit.

"Farkle gotsta go." Maya stated.

"I gotsta?" Farkle asked.

"No you don't." I shook my head.

"This is exactly what my father wants." Riley told the standing up. "He wants us to panic and fall apart. We have to show him that we can get through this with out turning into a pack of wild animals."

"No you can't." Jay shook his head. "If you stay together than maybe yes."

"Yeah. Let's form our own perfect society. Rileytown is a land of goodness and rainbows where everybody folds their hands nicely like so." Riley tells them folding her hands. "Who wants to live in Rileytown?"

"Too happy." I shook my head taking a bite of the burger.

"Nobody wants Rileytown!" Maya exclaimed. "It's too lollipop!"

"You're too lollipop!" Riley told her.

"Sister, I'm a lot of things but I ain't lollipop." Maya told her with a serious expression.

"Rileytown had order, structure and our hands folded like so! What do you got?" Riley asked Maya.

"I got Mayaville!" Maya exclaimed standing up on her desk. "No rules, no laws, no hand folding and nobody says no!"

"Too crazy." Jay shook his head eating his fries.

"You got chaos is what you got!" Riley exclaimed. "I got order, you got chaos!"

"You got lollipop, I got whoo!" Maya exclaimed.

"What does Vanessa have?" Sarah asked causing everyone to turn to me.

"No detention." I told them.

"But if you did have detention?" Sarah asked again.

"I'd have Veeville." I shrugged. "Creativity strives there, you follow the rules not all but most, you have your friends there and get to eat a lot of food."

"Ooo." They all smiled.

"Can you get detention?" David asked me.

"Sorry but no." I shook my head going back to the script.

"Oh man." The class whined making me chuckle.

°°°°°°

"Why are you guys over there?" Riley asked the other side of the class as they have separated the class room. "Why can't we just be one happy society that runs the way I think it should?"

"Honey, repeat the last six words and you'll find out why." I tell her not removing my eyes from the script.

Maya nods to me telling Riley, "You want us all to be you."

"We're not all you, Riley." Farkle tells her. "I mean, you know the reason I've never been able to choose between the two of you?"

"Wha-" Jay started off but I cut him off.

"Which one he considers his best best girl friend." I answered his unasked question reading my lines.

"Ahh." Jay nodded going back to his script.

Farkle continued his statement, "Because if it was you all the time, life would be like..."

Farkle started to sing which Riley copied getting stuck in her own trance while Farkle turned to Maya and continued to say, "And if it was you all the time, life would be like Descensus in cuniculi cavum."

"What does that mean?" Jay asked Farkle.

"Descent into the rabbit hole." I answered instead not looking up but when I did they were all looking at me in confusion. "What?"

"How do you know that?" Lucas asked me as everyone else stared at me in confusion.

"It's latin and I know latin." I shrugged but everyone kept looking at me. "What I finished learning Italian and I was bored sue me if it's wrong to learn a different language."

Maya then shook her head walking to the back door saying, "Well, sorry to interrupt your stares but you might want to consider a little thing I call this..." Maya opened the back door.

"He forgot to lock the back door?" Lucas asked.

"Sure." Jay mumbled. "Let's go through a scene."

"Okay." I nod. "Script or no script?"

"No script let's see what we memorized." He tells me so we lay the scripts faced down. "Let's do the scene where Reed sees Tessa in the crowd at the costume dance leading to Tessa and Reed fixing the motorcycle."

I was about to respond back but got cut off by Riley saying, "Maya, we're in detention. You can't leave."

"Right after these commercials." I announced causing us to chuckle looking at the scene in front of us.

"Hey, school's out." Maya reminded everyone. "He said we got the place to ourselves. He said to make our own rules. First rule see you around suckers."

Maya left causing many others to leave so I turned to Jay saying, "Alright let's go."

"Interesting choice in costume." Jay acted with the accent smiling.

"I'm a penguin." I acted without the accent this time having a smile as well.

'Reed' looked down with a smile nodding, "Yes you are." He then looked up to me. "Will you sneak away. S-so we can... finish the bike."

I smiled looking away before turning back to him saying, "I'll waddle out somehow."

We shared a smile as he waddles like Reed did in the movie.

"Farkle?" I heard Riley ask as she saw him about to leave.

"Hey, what part of 'descensus in cuniculi cavum' did you not understand?" Farkle asked her.

"All of it." Riley pouted.

"It means we drop down into the rabbit hole, man." Farkle told her.

I paused on my line turning to Farkle saying, "Actually, Amore, your translation for what you said right now is 'Nos decidemus lepus foramen, vir'."

^^(If it's wrong I apologize, I used Google translate and it's not always 100% right)

Farkle smiled at me not caring if I corrected him or not.

"Stop learning more stuff!" Jay exclaims.

"Ah, boo who I know stuff let it go." I told him. "Back to the scene."

"Lucas?" Riley asked him as she saw him standing next to Farkle who was still here.

"I never do anything, Riley." Lucas smiled leaving the class room in a rush.

Just as I was about to continue my next line but I got cut off by Farkle kissing me which surprised me.

When he detached Farkle smiled at me saying, "See you later, love, Jace."

He then left the room the same way Lucas did as Jay turned to me raising an eyebrow saying, "I see someone's jealous."

"Really what gave you that idea?" I sarcastically responded as we chuckle.

"But no seriously he doesn't hate me right?" Jay asked me curiously and nervously.

"No." I shook my head.

"Are you sure?" Jay asked me.

"Trust me he doesn't hate you." I smiled at him. "You can ask him yourself later."

"Alright." Jay smiled nodding. "Let's go back to the scene."

I nod my head as we go back to the scene.

°°°°°°
"How did I get to be on top of here?" I asked Jay and Harley as I was on top of the supply cart.

"I don't even know." Jay shrugged. "One minute we were in the class room and the next we got here."

"Well I just know that you guys were helping me clean up a class and now we're here." Harley tells us. "Also Matthews wants us three to check on your friends to report back."

"True." Jay and I nodded.

"Because there's no good kids." We heard Farkle say.

"We need good kids to see us, to stop us." Bubs told Maya.

"We're up." Harley says pushing the cart to Maya's group with Jay next to us. "I agree with mad dog and Batman."

"He's not wrong." Jay agreed. "Also if your Batman..." Jay pointed to Farkle.

"Then you need your cat woman." I finished off smiling causing Farkle to smile back at me.

"For me, it was very important for us to be amongst the good." Harley tells Maya.

"Why?" She asked.

"Because even bad kids have good parts. But without the good kids, you may never find out what they are." Harley explains to her.

"You told us you were one of the bad kids when you were younger." Farkle tells him.

"Well, you know, I used to intimidate people. Make 'em see things my way." Harley tells them but then glances at me. "Well, aside from here mother. Melissa was someone you never want to mess with."

"And that's where Wolfy gets it." Jay pointed at me causing me to shrug knowing I did get that from her.

"Did they?" Bubs asked Harley.

"For a while." Harley shrugged.

"Then what happened?"

"I met a good kid." Harley explains which I know he meant about Cory.

"But you seem like such a nice guy." Lucas tells him. "It's hard for me to believe you ever intimidated anything."

"Oo, please show them." I asked Harley which he nods before walking over to the vending machine.

Harley touched the vending machine walking away before giving it a look causing food to fall out.

Harley grabbed an apple that fell before grabbing the cart.

Just as we were about to leave I received a text.

'I need help! Call me!'~Sam

"Woah hold on." I told Harley causing him to stop in front of the 'Rebels'. "I need to make a call." I stood up on the cart saying, "Jay catch."

"Wha-" Before he could finish I jumped off the cart but luckily Jay caught me on time while the 'Rebels' look at me in shock. "Why can't you ever do something like a normal person?"

"Because I'm not normal we've been over this and stop your whining you've done this before." I told him slapping his cheek lightly before jumping out of his arms. "Now come on we need to call Sam."

"Why?" He asked me as he moved aside so Harley could move.

"Sam needs our help." I told him going into my contacts on my phone.

"For?" Jay asked me again.

"To steal the Krabby Patty secret recipe." I smile sarcastically. "Why do you think for?!"

"Yesh, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today." Jay said.

I glared at him but when I did the lockers popped opened causing the 'Rebels' to yelp.

"You're terrifying little girl." Jay shook his head once he took notice of the actions that happen.

"Eh, I'll deal with that later." I shrugged walking up to the lockers. "For now we need to call Sam." Jay nodded in agreement and as we walked away from the 'Rebels' I closed the lockers as I roamed my hand there. When we were at the last locker I turned to Jay saying, "Maybe I should be Harley Quinn."

"You are that terrify." Jay nodded causing me to shrug as we went to the music room.

°°°°°°

"Bye, Sam call me when you get more information about the situation." I told Sam over the phone.

"Alright will do bye, Essa." Sam hanged up just as Cory called out, "Harley, Vee, Jason!"

The three of us walked in the class room into the classroom while the class looked at us in shock.

"Right here." Harley told him.

"You watched them?" Cory asked us.

"Like a hawk." Harley nodded.

"Yeah, we activated our runes to keep a good eye on them." I smirked causing Jay and I to chuckle but Cory looked at us in confusion.

"She means yes we did." Jay told him before sighing. "Ugh, mundanes."

"Wait!" Riley exclaimed.

"You're with him?" Maya asked.

"Who do you think was his good kid?" I asked them with a small smile.

"She's right." Harley nodded. "He's my good kid."

"What do you guys got?" Cory asked up.

"Everyone went nuts." Jay and I told him.

"Except for Zippy." Harley nodded to Riley. "Why didn't you go nuts, Zippy?"

"I was without Maya." Riley shrugged. "Without Maya, I don't think I'd ever unfold my hands."

"What about this one here?" Cory asked pointing at Maya.

"Maya was the ringleader." Harley told him.

"Maya was the first one out the door." Jay informed him.

"I was without Riley. Without Rile I may never come back." Maya confessed.

"Alright." Cory nodded. "Well, detention over, guys. Everyone out. Except Maya."

"Dad." Riley says as everyone was already out the room.

"Everyone out." Cory tells his daughter as we leave the room.

°°°°°°
Later that day I went to Topanga's by myself since Lucas took Jay to talk to him but it was pretty obvious that Zay and him were going to scare Jay.

I was about to go order a vanilla milkshake when I noticed a familiar turtleneck.

I went to Farkle kissing him on the check surprising him.

"Hey, Amore." I smiled sitting next to him.

"Hello, love." Farkle greeted back with a smile and a faint accent.

"Farkle, are you trying to do an accent?" I asked him with a raised eyebrow.

"What? No of course not! That'd be ridiculous." Farkle denied with his cheeks turning a bit pink. "So how was your day today you know besides your conversation with Sam."

When Farkle said Sam's name I say his eyes swirl of mixed emotions.

"It went pretty well." I nodded my head. "I'm trying to help Sam with something though."

"Well you are good with helping people. Sam's getting the best there is." Farkle said trying to smile. "So...is he cute?"

"She's adorable." I smiled at his jealousy empathizing the word she.

"Sam's a she?" Farkle asked a bit relieved.

"Yeah." I nodded with a smile. "Sam is short for Samantha."

"Oh thank goodness." Farkle sighed in relief falling back on the couch.

"By that action I'm guessing you were assuming Sam was a guy?" I asked him as I saw him put his hands on his face.

"Yes." Farkle mumbled. "Does it make me look bad for getting jealous?"

"No." I shook my head. "But I do got to say it is strange to see you jealous. I've only seen you jealous two times and the those two times were today."

"Twice?" Farkle asked. "I've only been like that once and that was right now?" He tried to deny.

"Oh so when you surprised me with that kiss in front of Jay it wasn't because you were jealous?" I asked him with an eyebrow raised.

"No..." Farkle looked away from my eyes as he trailed off.

"Farkle."

"Okay yes it was because I was jealous." Farkle admits. "I don't know why but when I saw you and him going through your scenes in class it just made me want to go up to you and kiss you and for some reason I can't find any possible solution for that." Farkle rambled as he took glances at his computer in front of him.

I looked at his computer looking at his search box history recently before I turn to him saying, "I can tell you."

"Can you?" Farkle asked me with hopeful eyes.

"Yes, Amore." I smiled at him. "It may be because you felt territorial not jealous I think."

"What's the difference?" Farkle asked me confused.

"Well jealous is when you want something that's not yours but territorial if when you want to keep something yours. Also let's get one thing straight I am not an object or some kind of prize you guys can fight over." I tell him but see his confuse face when I mentioned the difference part. "I've been getting bored so I looked up some psychology facts sometimes."

"You don't have a lot of free time now how do you have time to get bored?" Farkle asked me.

"I don't even know." I shrugged. "But this isn't about me I have enough issues to talk about my life."

"But how can I be territorial we aren't official?" Farkle asked confused.

"I don't know it may be because of your emotions." I guessed. "I don't know how to tell emotions that aren't mine even if I could I'd just feel a big rollercoaster of emotions."

"Well enough about that." Farkle closed his computer smiling at me. "How'd you meet Sam?"

"Oh, well she actually audition for the part of Georgie my character's best friend in the play." I explained to him. "She was one of the finalists and she got the part so Jay and I got to meet her on Saturday."

"Oh, so was she nice?" Farkle asked me.

"She is." I nod with a smile. "But once I meet her she did create a good first impression."

Flashback

It was Saturday and Christina told Jay and I that we could meet the actress who got the role of Georgie.

"Vanessa, Jason, this is Samantha Morris she's going to play Georgie. She's actually the same age as you two." Christina smiled. "Now I'm going to leave so you three can have some bonding time."

"Alright." We nodded with smiles as she left the room leaving us alone.

"Hi, it's good to meet you." I smiled holding a hand out for a hand shake.

"Nice to meet you too." She smiled taking a hand out to shake mine as well but then she pulled me closer changing her smile to a serious look. "I'm going to be the star of this show even if I'm not the actual star got that?"

"Woah." I heard Jay mumble while I looked at Samantha expression instantly know she was acting.

"Oo, you're a good actor." I smiled at her causing her to let go of my arm.

"Oh my gosh you actually knew I was acting!" Samantha smiled at me. "People usually think I'm being actually mean and don't talk to me."

I was about to speak but Jay cut me off saying, "Well if anyone could do that is her because she has serious mood swing."

I playfully glared at him before turning to Samantha saying, "And this idiot is my best friend so don't worry if he says anything stupid which is very likely come to me and I'll teach him a thing or two."

"You guys are best friends?" Samantha asked us.

"Yeah." We nodded.

"He's the one that convinced me to audition." I told her.

"You didn't want to audition?"

"She did but she was too nervous to do it." Jay explained to her which I nod to.

"Oh, that's good friendship." Samantha smiled. "Wish I had that."

"You don't have any friends?" I asked her.

"No." She shook head. "My folks move around a lot because of their job which makes it hard for me to make any friends but I'm hoping we get to stay here."

"Don't you make any friends at school?" Jay asked her.

"I'm homeschool." She told us. "Have been ever since first grade."

"Well, we can be your friends." I smiled at her.

"Really?" Samantha asked hopefully.

"Of course." We smiled.

"Oh, thank you!" She smiled hugging us which we returned.

"Now all our friends have a nickname for us." I tell her when we detached from our hug.

"Yeah." Jay nodded. "They call me Jace while Wolfy calls me Jay."

Samantha looked confused so I said, "He calls me Wolfy while two of our guy best friends call me Ney, two of the girls call me Vee, the Ross kids call me Vane, and one guy best friend who's sort of my boyfriend calls me Nessa, Queen and love."

"Sort of boyfriend?" She asked confused.

"It's complicated." I told her.

"No it's not." Jay shook his head. "They are dating but not officially just to take things slow to see how they are."

"Wow, I guess it's not complicated." I shrugged. "Anyways now that we are friends we need a nick name for you."

"Oh, we my parents call me Sam." She smiled.

"Then that's your nickname." I smiled. "But can I also call you Sammy?"

"Yup." She smiled. "Now can I call you Essa?" She asked which I nodded to before she turned to Jay asking, "Can I call you Jace?"

"Well all my friends do I don't see why you can't." Jay smiled.

"From now on you can count on us." I smiled.

Flashback over

I snapped out of my trance when Farkle asked me, "So, how's the rest of the cast?"

"They're good." I smiled. "They are very nice people some are older than us but not by a lot the oldest ones are the ones that had to be adults."

"Well, that's good at least you guys don't have to feel awkward for being the youngest in the cast." Farkle smiled at me putting an arm around me.

"True." I nodded putting my head on his shoulder before my stomach grumbled. "Oh, now I remember why I came here."

Farkle smiled at me before saying, "Don't worry I'll get you something."

"Thank you, Amore." I smiled before he got up to go to the counter.
