I'm about to do something I know I'm going to regret and hope that I don't regret it. The last few months have been really good, but even in that happiness, doubt has managed to creep its way in and corrupted all of that. I think. I know—I'm about to do a bad thing, but I'm telling myself now that it's for a good cause. I have her best interests at heart, and all I want is to be the best I can be for her to be happy. But lately, I have been feeling like I'm not my best self. I know she's not asking me to be perfect, she doesn't ask much of me, but I have set my standards—and right now I think I have fallen short of them.
