A guy wearing royal blue slim suit business jacket over his plain white t-shirt and black athletic fit jeans walked, happily toward the Roast Duck Restaurant.
His undercut brushed up hair and black stud earrings accentuated his bad boy aura despite his smart casual get up.
He carried a mini bouquet of Peruvian lilies and assorted color of roses in his left hand while his right hand held a big rainbow llama plushie.
As he got inside the restaurant, he eagerly scanned the place to look for a young man and an adorable little girl.
When he saw the pair, he glided toward their table and approached them.
"The more acquaintances you have,"
The guy said while looking straight at the window's street view.
"the less you know them." The young man replied after sipping his tea.
"Uncle Rong!" Europa's eyes sparkled with glee when she recognized who the guy was.
"Hello, there sweetie pie! Welcome to Beijing." Qin Rong said as he handed Europa the flowers and llama toy.
Europa stood up and stretched her chubby arms to receive her gifts.
"Thank you, Uncle Rong. They are pretty." Europa said as she smiled brightly and hugged the llama doll.
"Uncle Rong's glad you liked them." Qin Rong said in a happy tone.
"Cough...cough... She's just five years old." Wang YuVin murmured.
Qin Rong gave out a hearty laugh as he sat himself down.
"Haha are you jealous, my wife?" Qin Rong chuckled as he took a sip of his green tea.
"Of course! Where's my gift?" Wang YuVin asked then pouted his lips.
Qin Rong almost spit his drink back into his cup. He didn't expect Wang YuVin's counterattack.
"Senior, please forgive this stupid junior of yours. This lowly junior won't tease you again." Qin Rong said as he lowered his head down.
"Hmmm... But where's my welcome gift?" Wang YuVin asked while stretching his right hand out.
"Woi bro! Are you really serious about receiving a gift?" Qin Rong asked in disbelief.
"Yeah." Wang YuVin nodded his head as he gave Qin Rong his reply before sipping his tea.
Before Qin Rong can give his answer, a scent of roasted meat wafted over them.
Qin Rong then grabbed this chance to change the topic.
"How about we eat first? I bet Europa's already starving." Qin Rong said as he glanced at Europa.
"Europa's hungry now, right?" Qin Rong added with a smile.
"Yes, uncle Rong! I want to eat roasted duck now." Europa answered, seemingly enticed by the delicious scent of the roasted duck.
Wang YuVin raised his hands up and surrendered as if he was also beckoned by the smell of the food.
Moments later, the food Wang YuVin had ordered for them were all served.
A huge platter of whole roasted duck stuffed with Chinese sticky rice, piles of lettuce wraps, a basket of spring rolls, and a tureen of almond tofu mixed with fruits and some crushed ice.
After the waiter had filled their glasses with orange juice, they folded their arms and silently offered their meal to Buddha.
They then began to help themselves with their food as they shared stories in between bites and chews.
