I prepared my ice on my right hand and attacked that demon. Nagpalabas ako ng ice spikes at hinagis sa kanya pero mabilis niyang nailagan. She's fast! Like really fast!
"Too slow, young girl.", she smirked at me.
My eyes widened as I realized that I've been tied up with threads and I'm hanging on the tree. If I'll try to escape, my body will be in pieces, damn!
"Who are you!?", I managed to ask.
She just laughs, "I'm a demon and you're a REA student. I expected that you're strong, but I'm afraid you're not. Too slow. Too weak. Too scared. Oops, my bad."
"That thread will cause your death so let me just devour you, young girl."
Oh, shit. Am I that weak? I don't wanna die!
"My, that's not a good thing to say!"
A girl suddenly appeared beside the demon. Medyo nagulat pa yung demon kasi nanlaki ang mga mata nito.
Napaatras ito bigla at doon na sinipa ito ng babae. Natumba ang demon at inapakan naman ng babae yung tiyan nito.
"Hello there!", the girl smiled at the demon.
"Spare me. Please. Maawa ka sa akin, I'm just a young girl!"
The girl pretends to be shock but smiled again, "Hmm? Very well. Let me just ask you one thing and if you'll answer it honestly-"
She stared at the demon, "I'll spare you and we can be friends!"
"How many people have you killed?"
"Two."
Iniwas niya agad ang tingin sa babae. Tumawa naman yung isa, wtf why is her laugh so soft?!
"There's no need to lie! How many?", she's smiling but the tone of her voice is different.
"I'm not!"
The girl's expression turned serious, "Nang papunta ako dito, may nakita akong mga nakasabit sa puno, your threads are full of blood. And i think it's 18 of them. All dead."
She smiled again, "It's alright! I can just punish you-", she touched the demon's eye, "I can take these eyes out-", she crossed out the stomach, "or I can slice this and let your organs out, one organ per person whom you killed. That's a perfect torture for someone like you!"
"In that way, you can be forgiven."
The demon's eyes widened and anger is visible in it, "What-"
"Don't worry! You're a demon so you can survive with all the torture!"
I kept silent. The girl seemed so nice but she's scary as fuck! I can't do anything because of this thread tied in me!
"Sinong niloloko mo!? Die you witch!", sabay tulak niya dun sa babae.
The girl landed gracefully on the other side, facing the opposite direction of the demon.
"I see we can't be friends. Then, farewell to you."
Naging mabilis ang pagkilos nito, bago pa umatake ulit ang demon ay lumipad ang babae na parang bumwelo tsaka itinutok ang sword nito sa demon. I can't see where did the girl stabbed or scratched the demon but she's already on the other side, twirling her sword on her hand.
"You may think that you're safe since you're not beheaded, but girl, there's someone like me who uses poison to kill demons like you."
And I can see the demon holding it's own neck like she can't breathe and poof- she lying on the ground just like that.
"Work's done! Hey, demon! I hope I can see you in hell one day! Patay ka na diba? You can't hear what I'm saying. My bad!", then she chuckled and looked at me.
"Oh dear. You're too tied up."
Sa bilis niya ay hindi ko agad nakita na pinakawalan niya ako so ang ending nahulog ako sa lupa.
"Ack-"
Pumunta ito sa tabi ko para matulungan akong umupo, "Sorry, the tree's too high, I didn't noticed it. Ayos ka lang?"
Tumango ako kaya ngumiti siya. She wearing a uniform and it says "KILL" on the back part, her hair was tied up in a bun with a ribbon and her sword seemed so unique.
"Mind if I ask if who are you?"
She chuckled, "I forgot to introduce myself. Antheia Achelois, F-Class, rank 3."
Huh!? Anong class at anong rank!?
"Huh?"
"I'm just a lower class slayer and it's my job to kill demons."
Pinagpag niya ang uniform niya at ibinalik sa ayos ang espada. Tumingin siya sa akin dala pa rin ng ngiti niya. Is she immortal?
"We're not like you, Krystal. We don't possess powers like ice or whatever. They trained us to kill demons with our own skills."
Whoa. Own skills!?
"Like me, I am a slayer who uses poison and the other uses techniques like water or flower."
Hindi ako makapagsalita. Like wow. Really.
She waved her hand, "see you soon, Krystal! 'Til we meet again and please train hard. You lack some of the skills of being an immortal and a reaper."
I can't argue with her. As much as I want to hit her, she's right. I lack skills. Ang nagawa ko lang ay yumuko.
"And please held your head high. Don't be ashamed of what you've done!", she yelled while jumping in the air, making her exit.
