"War..." Mas kumapit ako sa braso n'ya habang papalapit kami sa mga selda.
"It's gonna be alright," He murmured, inabot n'ya ang kamay ko at marahan akong hinapit palapit sa kanyang katawan.
"I'll be here with you," He whispered.
"I know," I sighed. "I just don't know how to deal with him after what he did to me. I didn't expect it to be him, not at all."
"Hindi ko rin naisip," Aniya kaya napatingin ako sa kanya. "I thought it was the asshole Max."
"Max?" Nanlaki ang mata ko at napatitig sa kanya. He sighed and nodded, caressing my hand with his thumb.
"He's too obssessed with you, baby, I can't shrug it off." He said.
Sumandal ako ng bahagya sa braso n'ya.
"He was there when you almost got kidnapped, Win. Nung nalaman n'yang nakuha ka nung mga lalaki, he came to you that instant that when you went out the car, nandun na s'ya."
I nodded and sighed.
"Hindi ko s'ya nakikita ngayon," I said.
"I woudn't let him get closer to you," Nag-angat ako ng tingin sa kanya at nagtaka.
"So, he's just here?"
"Hmm," He nodded at napatango lang ako at humugot ng hininga.
Nang papasukin na kami ng pulis sa visiting area ay kaagad na bumaling ang tingin ko kay Ralph na nakaupo roon.
My heart started hammering inside my chest, I saw Elisse holding his hand while staring sharply at me.
"How dare you!" Hindi pa man ako nakakalapit ay nagulat na ako nang tumayo s'ya, akmang susugurin ako pero mabilis na napunta sa harapan ko si Warrion at itinago ako sa kanyang likuran.
"Keep your hands off." Warrion said coldy, stopping her. Nang matulala si Elisse sa ginawa ay napatikhim ito at nag-iwas ng tingin.
I sighed, marahang umalis sa likuran ni War at hinarap si Elisse.
I saw her stared at me with such rage on her eyes, kita ko ang gustong pagsugod n'ya at nang akmang itatago akong muli ni War ay umiling ako at tumitig ng malamig kay Elisse.
"You wanted to hurt me, huh?" I asked coldly.
She lifted her hand, was about to slap me when I spoke.
"Go and let me file a case to you too para magkasama na kayo ng boyfriend mo sa kulungan."
She froze, nakita ko ang pagkalma n'ya pero puno pa rin ng galit ang mga mata.
"You don't have a right to file a case against Ralph! Wala s'yang ginawa sa'yo!" She exclaimed.
"Elisse," Ralph called.
"Hindi Ralph eh! This woman is pressing false charges to you!" She exclaimed. "She was too desperate to have you! Kasi ako ang pinili mo!"
Napapikit ako ng mariin sa sinabi n'ya, halos matawa.
"Ganun kababaw?" I chuckled at her.
"Yes! Hindi mo kasi matanggap na ako ang pinili ni Ralph kaysa sa'yo! You're a freak, Winter! Childish and narrow-minded bitch!"
I saw Warrion's face crumpled, halatang gustong sumabat pero pinipigil ang sarili.
"You are desperate, Almedarez! You even has the guts to let Warrion pretend to be your boyfriend!"
Nagulat ako doon, nakita kong napataas ang sulok ng labi ni Warrion sa sinabi nito at napailing.
"And why would I pretend to be her man, Miss?" He said in a cold, amused tone.
"Because she was desperate to have his attention! Gustong-gusto n'ya si Ralph--"
"There's no way my Winter would like another man more than me." He said as a matter of fact.

Napakurap nalang ako at napasulyap kay Elisse na umawang ang labi at napaiwas ng tingin. He marched towards Ralph and sat beside him.
"Come on, baby." Inabot ni Warrion ang kamay ko at marahan akong hinila palapit sa dalawa.
The moment I sat infront of them, kaagad akong nandiri sa tingin na ibinigay ni Ralph. His eyes are pleading, tila takot at nagsisisi.
"How's life in jail?" I asked coldly.
"How dare you talk to him like that!" Elisse groaned pero hindi ko s'ya pinansin.
"I-I'm sorry, Winter." Ralph suddenly murmured.
"What? Stop saying sorry, Ralph! Wala kang ginawa sa malanding 'to!" Elisse exclaimed.
"Shut your mouth, woman." Warrion suddenly spoke in annoyance. "I can easily press charges to you."
Natahimik si Elisse at sinamaan ako ng tingin.
"Hindi ko sinasadyang gawin 'yun," Ralph murmured. "I'm so sorry, masyado lang akong nadala ng damdamin."
"You almost raped me, asshole." I pointed out, humigpit ang hawak ko kay Warrion at nakita kong mas nagdilim ang mukha n'ya habang nakatingin kay Ralph.
"Y-You what?" I saw Elisse froze.
"I...I just love you so much, Win." He said. "Nagalit ako kasi may iba ka, akala ko ako pa rin."
Elisse's mouth parted, shaking her head violently.
"W-What are you saying, Ralph?!"
"I'm sorry, Elisse." Ralph murmured. "I...I love Winter."
"You...you said you love me!"
"That's what you want me to say!" Ralph answered her.
"Y-You..." Nakita ko ang luha ni Elisse at maya-maya pa ay napatayo at sinampal si Ralph.
"Fuck you!" She exclaimed.
Nakita ko pang tumitig s'ya sa akin at marahas na pinunasan ang luha bago nagmartsa palabas.
I sighed, naramdaman ko ang haplos ni War sa palad ko kaya napaharap ako sa kanya at doon ako kumuha ng lakas.
"F-Forgive me, Win." Ralph murmured. "I...I just love you so much, kaya ko nagawa 'yun."
"That isn't love, Ralph." I shook my head. "It's far more different than love."

"Hmm," I nodded sadly. "Tapos my sister came inside, panicking, turns out nakuha n'ya ang susi, she was beated and looks..." Suminghap ako nang maalala at mas humigpit ang yakap sa akin ni Warrion at hinalikan ang noo ko.

I was uneasy this time, nangilid ang luha ko at mas kumawala pa iyon nang mabilis na umupo si Warrion sa kama at marahang iniangat ako pasandal sa kanyang dibdib at niyakap ako at nakinig lang sa akin.

I nodded a bit and sighed.
"Ang sabi ko sa sarili ko, aalagaan kita, na pupunan ko lahat ng pagkukulang kong bantayan ka but...when you forgot about me? Everything just vanished."
Nakita ko ang pagkintab ng mata n'ya at ang pagpikit n'ya.
"I was waiting for you to be released from the hospital, I waited for you and tried talking to you but you just walked pass me like a stranger. Sinubukan kitang kausapin but you...you said you don't know me."
Marahas kong pinunasan ang luha ko nang makita ko ang luha sa pisngi n'ya.
"I...I found out that your trauma caused you to forget memories you never want to remember. I found out that you forgot all your bad memories. Then you..." He licked his lip and his tears fell more.
"You forgot about me because I was a bad memory to you." His voice broke.
"W-War..." Nanginig ang boses ko.
"So, I told myself, bakit pa ako magpapakitang ulit sa'yo kung masamang ala-ala lang ako?"
"War," Umayos ako ng upo at sinapo ang pisngi n'ya. "You are never a bad memory to me."
"I-I'm not?" He asked in a soft voice, his green eyes glistening with tears.
"You're not," I murmured. "Hindi, Warrion. Maybe I was dumb back then, I blamed you for the things you have no control. Ginawa mo ang lahat para iligtas kami ni Ate, biktima lang tayo ng masamang pagkakataon. You did your best, baby. That's enough for me."
Tumango s'ya at pumikit, hinayaan akong haplusin ang kanyang pisngi.

Bigla s'yang napatawa habang umiiyak pa kaya napangisi na ako at niyakap ang kanyang leeg.

"Mahal na mahal kita," He whispered.
My heart skipped a bit, nakangiting humalik sa pisngi n'ya at tumango.
"I love you so much too, War. Mas sobra pa sa lieutenant at pwet mo." I whispered.
Natawa s'ya at hinaplos ang likuran ko bago may kung anong kinuha kung saan.
"Baby?" He called a minute after.
