Being gay wasn't easy
It wasn't a choice either
But again I was here being thrown comments about my sexuality .
In sports no one would come near me in fear I would touch them up or something its as if they all thought I liked them all .
I've tried explaining to them its just the same for you but I just happen to fall in love with guys but ..
To no avail they still don't listen .
Not even my teachers gave me a chance
And so here I was standing alone again in the porchway of the schoolyard doors
I saw a long slender figure march its way towards the gate and open it cautiously remembering to check for any people before making what appeared to be " his " move .
I watched in surprise as he tiptoed his way over to the bench in the far left hand corner of the playground
He slipped his phone out of his pocket and just stared at it for about 20 minutes occasionally moving his finger as if he was scrolling or something
I watched him for the whole 20 minutes he didn't even acknowledge me staring at him .
He didn't look up. I noticed a tall figure walking along one of the lanes with what appeared to be a childs hand firmly clenched in his palm.
I stared back over at the boy who was squinting into the distance at the figures as they began to get closer to the fence the boy became more intrigued into who it was
My curiosity had got the better of me by now and I had unhinged the door open and was creeping over to the boy to ask him what was wrong when all of a sudden he screamed
" LUCY! "
I watched him bolt forward slamming the gate behind him running after the man and to my surprise I found myself running after him
I was too curious
I had to know
I mean as fast as my feet would allow giving me just enough room to be a perfect distance away from this boy .
The tall figure had the child dragged on the floor beside him until he came to a busy intersection into which he tossed the child right in front of a moving vehicle
This boy was clearly angry now he ran into the road kicking the girl out of the way leaving him to be smashed into the road by the car .
I ran over to him and immediately checked if he was breathing .
He wasn't
HE WASN'T FUCKING BREATHING ...
