Her mother is like my uncle.
Happy then mad.
The same hysteria.
I don’t speak to her mom.
I walk up the stairs.
Her mom follows.
She keeps yelling.
She hits me on the head.
I ignore her.
Her eye flashes in my mind.
All black and purple.
I finally understood.
I pick up some of her clothes.
She only has a few.
Her mom keeps yelling at me.
She says she’ll find us.
I say she won’t.
I leave.
