The next day was the fashion show and launching. And Baekhyun was anxious. There were models everywhere and makeup artists and hairdressers attending to them. Baekhyun exhaled when he walked into his closet, where all his designs where proudly hanged and those models will be showing each and every one of them off to the world in two hours.
"Breathe Mr. Byun," Henry whispered from behind him. "You'd pass out if you keep pacing around like this."
"I'm trying okay," Baekhyun answered, exhausted. Soon his uncle came in and asked the models to get dressed and get ready. "The place is full Baekhyun. We should be ready at 15. Are the models ready?"
"Yes uncle, They are."
"Good job, Take a deep breath son. Take a deep breath. This is not your first fashion show. You have been doing this is Paris, and the US, you can still do it today." his uncle pats Baekhyun's shoulders before leaving.
"You see what I said, I told you you can do it." his manager, Henry ranted and Baekhyun just rolled his eyes. If only they knew what's in his mind. If only they knew how restless he's been all night thinking about a certain tall, blonde giant with Yoda cute ears. Baekhyun wants to see Chanyeol and tell him everything, but with the way, the CEO walked out on him last night, will he even give him the chance to explain himself to him?
The show started and the models came walking down the aisle one by one. And photographers, journalists and magazine press where busy taking photos and videos of the event. But Baekhyun's mind was elsewhere.
He spotted some of his fans holding a banner that caught his eyes. No it was a bit far, Baekhyun could not see the content of the banner well. He really hopes it's not what he thinks. "GIVE LOVE A CHANCE." "GENDER IS NOT A BARRIER TO LOVE" he was touched. Could it be that they know about him and Chanyeol? Or was his eyes deceiving him?
He stood up to go see for himself, he walked back and passed through the backstage to the corner where he could see the banner clearly and it struck him. [ 'GIVE LOVE A CHANCE." "GENDER IS NOT A BARRIER TO LOVE' ] he gasped and stepped back. On turning around, he collided with a tall figure. Thank God he didn't hit the ground.
"Oops, I guess someone is engrossed and didn't notice me approach them." the man snickers, and Baekhyun glances up and immediately jolts back. "Kri-kris? You?"
"Yes me, Baekhyun. What were you thinking? That I'm dead? Tsk" he shook his head and suddenly, his eyes looked above the smaller and caught the chanbaek banner. He smirked.
"Chanyeol really loves you. I hope you know that Baekhyun. Even though I tried to get you back then, he chooses to protect, I'm impressed. Honestly. He's not the chanyeol I knew way back in school."
"Why are you telling me this? Aren't you one of those that wanted me out of his life? Wait... What am I even saying, who let you in here by the way?" Baekhyun said. He was so angry at Kris. He didn't know he hated him until this minute.
"I care about you Baekhyun."
Baekhyun gave out a sinister laugh. "You care about me huh? since when? News flash, you never cared about me. You and Irene and his father got all you wanted. And Thanks to you." He turned to walk away when Kris gently grabbed his wrist.
"Wait. Baekhyun look, I did not come here to have a fight with you okay. Yes I know I did wrong and I'm sorry but you have to give your heart a second chance. I still haven't gotten over the punch Chanyeol landed on my face when you disappeared because he thought I had a hand in it."
"Let me go Kris. Before I punch you." Baekhyun gritted and showed Kris his tiny paws and Kris wanted to laugh. In the end, Kris let him go. With his two hands in surrender. "Sure princess, I will. I don't want you getting hurt."
"Like you care." Baekhyun eyed him and still walked away. As he was going, Kris yelled out "Chanbaek" and Baekhyun paused. He turned and eyed Kris. And the tall idiot was just waving at him and smiling sarcastically, "I'm just a fan you know." he winked and smiled and Baekhyun ended up scoffing. He shook his head and walked away.
"He's so cute. Damn." Kris blurted when Baekhyun has disappeared.
The show lasted for 3 hours and finally ended. And Baekhyun walked down the aisle with his models to wave and greet the audience and everyone cheered him up. He got more endorsements, and gave so many autographs at the end and took many pictures with fans. They knew he was gay, and loved him for whom he was. And he was happy.
And not to mention, Kyungsoo and his fiancé Jongin, Minseok and his hubby Jongdae, Sehun and his baby, Luhan were there too and he took them backstage. They were his VIP guests Afterall.
He entertained his friends and saw them out. As he was returning, he met Kim Junmyeon. Junmyeon had actually attended the show and Baekhyun never knew.
"Mr. Kim, Hi." he smiled and Junmyeon smiled back. They shook hands, "Congratulations Baekhyun. And please drop the formalities. Junmyeon is fine."
"Oh, okay." he looked at Junmyeon and wondered if he came alone or with someone. "You-you came alone?" Baekhyun asked curiously and Junmyeon tucked his hands into his pants.
"Where are you expecting me to come with someone?" Baekhyun blushed. He knew Junmyeon was aware of his encounter with Chanyeol yesterday. Because they're best friends and he was the one that asked his manager about him. "No. I was... I."
"Well I would have come with my fiancé Yixing, but he traveled to China, So..."
"Oh congratulations on your engagement Junmyeon," he said and played with his nails afterward, while Junmyeon just watched him.
"Baekhyun?"
"Hmmm?" he hummed but couldn't look at junmyeon.
"Is there any part of you that still loves Chanyeol?" Junmyeon asked and Baekhyun slowly nodded, still playing with his nails. He finally looked at Junmyeon and his eyes were already welled up with unshed tears. "I'm so sorry about yesterday. I couldn't think straight, I pushed him away."
"Baekhyun, let me give you one advice. If you love someone or anything, go for it. You never know what you have until you lose it. I'm not saying this because I want you to go back to Chanyeol. But think about it. Have a nice day." Junmyeon walked pass him and Baekhyun wept.
"Junmyeon?" Baekhyun ran after the man and Kim junmyeon paused in his track. He turned to face Baekhyun and saw the younger crying. "Junmyeon please help me. I Love Chanyeol so much but I can't face him. Not after what happened between us. But I really want to tell him everything. Please help me." he walked up to Junmyeon and hugged him, crying so badly.
Kim Junmyeon exhaled. He held Baekhyun to himself. And told him everything was okay. "In as much as I would love to take you to Chanyeol, I need you to meet him alone."

Baekhyun got to his hotel that evening and took a warm bath. He finished and got dressed in simple black ripped jeans and a white and black stripes top. He brushed his hair, did his normal routine before going out. He actually met his manager talking with a guy in the lobby and used that as a cue to leave the hotel.
Because Henry would want to know his whereabouts. But this is his life, his love life and he was not gonna let anyone decide for him. He drove to Chanyeol's new house. Yes he was told by Junmyeon that the CEO bought a new house a year ago, so Baekhyun took the address.
When he got there, he saw the former gateman he knew when he was dating Chanyeol 5 years ago. And the man quickly and gladly opened the gate for him to drive in.
Baekhyun turned off his ignition but didn't step out yet. His heart was pounding so fast, he felt like passing out. There's this pain he felt inside which only Chanyeol can take away. "You can do it Baekhyun. You're strong you can do it, just take a deep breath and calm down," he whispered to himself before pushing his door open and went ahead to exchange bows with the gateman before go for Chanyeol's front door.
Chanyeol had just finished working out about 15 minutes ago and decided to take a cold shower. Just as he was stepping out of the tub, his doorbell rang. He quickly grabbed a towel to wipe himself dry, before taking his bathrobe With him. He quickly wore the fabric. "Hold on," he answered as he approached the door.
The moment Baekhyun heard his deep voice from inside. He wanted to panic. He wanted to run away. He subconsciously took a step back just as Chanyeol pulled the door open and came face to face with him.
