~Vanessa's POV~

"Come on we have to hurry!" Jay exclaimed as he rushed upstairs to the Matthews. "Race you, Wolfy!"

"I'm carrying the presents, Jay!" I called after him but it was useless he was already rushing upstairs, though I can't be annoyed by it since this is the first Christmas his spending with people since his mom passed.

"Here Cariño I'll take the bags." Dad said as he took the boxes from my arms with my mom's help. "Go on and win him."

"Thank you papa!" I smiled before racing up catching up to Jay and passing him.

A minute later I got to the Matthew's front door waiting for Jay and my parents. Not a second later all three of them got there and I sent a smirk to Jay.

"I win." I taunted.

"Should have seen that happening." Jay said out of breathe.

"Let's get inside so you both can get some water." My mom said as she got her keys for the Matthews apartment out opening the door.

Once my mom opened the door we heard Cory say, "Well, I need the holidays to be good for your mother."

"Liar!" My mom, dad and me exclaimed in unison as Topanga pointed at us agreeing with us.

"Liar!" Cory smiled pointing to himself. "I need the holidays to be good for Shawn!"

"Shawn's coming!" Cory and I exclaimed in unison so happy to see him.

When the buzzer rang Cory ran to the intercom shoving my dad to the side making him fall to the ground, luckily he put the present down before hand but I couldn't say the same for him.

"Ow!" Dad groaned as my mom and Topanga looked not shocked for Cory doing that.

"Shawn?!" Cory asked excitedly over the intercom ignoring what he did.

"Maya." Maya answered.

"Shawn?!" Cory asked again.

"Aw, what's the matter?" Maya asked. "Your boyfriend not here yet?"

"He's not my boyfriend!" Cory exclaimed.

"Stop lying Cory, you and Shawn have been married for years." My mom smirked.

"No we haven't!" Cory argued.

Jay, Riley, my mom and me turned to look at Topanga who said, "Oh, then what are we going to with this 'Cory and Shawn 4-evah!' ornament?"

"Oh, that?" Cory asked as he walks up to his wife. "That goes right in front of the Cory and Topanga wedding ornament."

He takes the ornament out of her hands and goes to put it in the tree. Riley and Jay looked confused but I really wasn't he was always like this when Shawn would show up.

"All our lives." Topanga, my mom and dad, who was still laying on the floor, told the two confused one.

My mom turned to her husband seeing him go behind Cory who finally fixed the ornament on the tree.

"You might want to run, Cor." My mom warned him.

Cory looked confused before turning to see my dad was looking at him with a bored expression.

Cory nervously chuckled know what was going to happen, "Oh didn't see you there, Ric."

My dad continued to look at him with a bored expression so Cory grabbed a box of tensile saying, "You know I love tensile they make the Christmas trees look so beautiful and also they do this." He then threw all the tensile from the box to my dad's face before running away to somewhere in the apartment.

"You can run but you can't hide, Cory!" Dad exclaimed as he chased him.

"Him and Shawn are really close." My mom told Jay and Riley as she went to help Topanga make cookies ignoring the fact that her husband was chasing one of her best friends.

I went to go and play a little with Auggie since I missed the little kid.

"Yeah, I heard a lot of him from, Wolfy." Jay told my mom as Maya walked in the door.

"I don't even think he exists." Maya closed the door just as Cory came back to the living room still running but stopped once he heard Maya's statement.

"He's real Maya. Lissa and I have known the guy our whole lives and he's real." Cory said before my dad come in the room and jumped on top making fall on the floor with my dad on top of him. "Ahh!"

"I should have filmed that." I said before I turned to Auggie asking, "Shouldn't have I?"

"You should have." Auggie nodded before smiling. "It would have been funny."

I laugh with Auggie before I head to where the girls and Jay where at.

"I think there may be some truth spilling today." I whispered to the three making sure the four adults won't here us.

"What you talking abo-" Jay asked but I cut him off.

"You'll see."

"So, what's the deal on the mysterious, Uncle Shawn?" Maya asked.

"Well, he's closer to Vee but I don't see him a lot." Riley tells Maya and Jay. "I don't think he likes me."

"Riley, what are you talking about he loves you." I told her knowing Shawn doesn't not like her.

"If he does he has a funny way of showing it." Riley shrugged as I took time realizing now that he doesn't really spend time with her and when he comes and hang out with me he doesn't look me in the eye.

"How could someone not like you?" Maya asked as Jay looked confused.

"Ask him and let me know." Riley sighed.

"Okay as much as I want to talk more about this can we have some Christmas fun please?" Jay asked us with hope.

"Actually yeah we should have some fun." I agreed before turning to the girls. "This is the first Christmas he's spending with other people in almost three years now."

The girls nodded before turning to Jay as Riley smiled, "Of course what would you like to do, Jason?"

"I don't know." He shrugged with a smile.

"Oh, I know." Maya smiled. "Let's look at the yearly Christmas show in front of us." She gestured my dad fighting Cory on the floor as Cory was trying to get out of Enrique's grip.

"That'll do." Jay smiled as I grabbed a big bowl of popcorn that was on kitchen table.

All four of us were munching on the popcorn as we watched the two grown men fight like five year olds on the floor.

The buzzer then buzzed again making Cory push my dad off him and ran to the intercom asking, "Shawn!"

"No it's your parents." Grandpa Matthews answered over the intercom.

"Rats." Cory whispered with his finger still on the intercom.

"Let me explain how a speaker box works." Grandpa Matthews tells his son over the intercom.

"These holidays are important to me, Alan. How much of a fiasco do you think it's gonna be?" Grandma Matthews asked obviously she didn't know we can hear her.

"Hideous already." Cory told his wife.

My mom gave Topanga a pot wanting to see something happen.

"How about I throw this pot at you?!" Topanga asked annoyed.

"They don't think you're real, but I know you are." Cory told the ornament with his baby voice making me wide eyes.

"Guys duck." I said as I crouched down.

"Why?" They asked.

"Just do it." I told them and they did and not a moment later a pot flew past above us and went to hit Cory but he caught it without looking away from the ornament.

"Good job, Cariño." My dad said as all of us stood up from the floor.

"She tried to hurt you, Shawn." Cory still talked to it.

Riley, Maya, Jay and I looked at each other before laughing at the adult talking to the ornament.

°°°°°°

When the door bell rang Auggie ran to open it and once he did it had shown that Grandpa and Grandma Matthews were there.

"Grandma, Grandpa." Auggie hugged them.

"Hello." Grandpa Matthews said as they detached. "Here's ten bucks write me better."

"Okay." Auggie said taking the money before turning to Grandma Matthews.

"Here's cookies." Grandma Matthews handed a box of cookies to Auggie.

"Thanks." Auggie said as he took the cookies. "Here's ten bucks." Auggie handed her the money.

"And that's how you do it." Grandma Matthews tells her husband before putting the money in her purse.

"Riley, Maya!" Grandpa Matthews greeted the girls as he hugged them.

I took Jay with me to Grandma Matthews as she said, "My precious Vane, how's everything?" She hugged me.

I hugged her back smiling, "Everything is good grandma." I then gestured Jay who is standing beside me smiling to Grandma. "Grandma this is Jason Smith he's living with my family now."

"Well Jason, if the Santiago's took you in then you are an honorary Matthews as well." She smiled before hugging him.

"Thank you ma'am." Jay hugged her back.

"Oh, no, nothing of this ma'am stuff." She shook her head before pointing at him. "You call me grandma, you understand young man?"

"Yes grandma." Jay nodded with a smile.

"Good." Grandma smiled.

Then Grandpa Matthews came to us and hugged me, "There's my favorite little rockstar."

I giggled as I hugged him saying, "Hi, grandpa."

When we detached he turned to his wife pointing to Jay saying, "Honorary grandson?"

"Yes." Grandma nodded.

Grandpa Matthews turned to Jay saying, "Grandson!" And he hugged him.

"Grandpa!" Jay exclaimed hugging him back.

When they detached Grandma and Grandpa Matthews went to greet both moms and both dads.

After greeting them grandpa hanged his jacket saying, "Ah, look at all these kids. It wasn't that long ago I had kids around the house."

"Yeah, it was just this morning wasn't it, dad?" Joshua, one of my closet friends, asked as he threw the keys to his dad.

Pointing at him grandpa said, "Oh, yeah, yeah you."

"Who's that?" Jay asked me.

"That's Josh. He's Cory's little brother." I smiled. "He's also my birthday twin."

"He doesn't look like he's 12." Jay told me.

"That's not what I mean." I chuckled. "He's older that's obvious but we were born on the same day different years."

"Gotcha." Jay clicked his tongue.

"Joshie!" Auggie exclaimed as he ran to Joshua hugging him.

"Auggie!" Joshua exclaimed picking up Auggie putting him on his shoulders.

"I love it up here!" Auggie exclaimed.

"My brotha." Joshua points to his brother.

"My brotha." Cory fist bumped him. "How's it possible we're brothers?"

"Because... it's a surprise!" Joshua shouted in front of his dad's face.

"Stop doing that" Grandpa said annoyed.

Joshua chuckled before wrapping an arm around his dad, "Aw, dad so proud of himself. He gets into movies for like a quarter."

Joshua then laid Auggie on the before turning to me, "Baby sis!"

"Big bro!" I exclaimed before hugging him which he returned.

"You're getting old, Vee." Joshua says using my nickname as we detached.

"Oh, please I'm barely turning 13." I chuckled. "That's not old. You're the old one, Josh."

"Ow." He said sarcastically as he put a hand on his chest. "I'm only turning 17."

"Oo, you old." I smiled before we laughed. "Anyways, Josh, this is Jason he's a good friend of mine."

Jay came up to us smiling to Josh and Joshua asked, "Did my parents make you an honorary Matthews yet?"

"Yup." Jay and I nodded.

Josh smiled before holding an arm out saying, "My nephew!"

Jay took the arm as they bumped shoulders and shook hands, "My uncle!"

"Well I'll hang out with you guys soon but for now I need to go through the family sea, so you guys." Joshua smiled before going to greet my parents, Topanga and the girls.

Jay turned to me in confusion, "Family sea?"

"The Matthews bring a lot of people into their hearts so they always become family so in a gathering with the Matthews you always say that." I smiled as I explained.

"Ohhh." Jay nodded. "So when's your papa Shawn gonna show up?"

"I don't know I hope he comes here soon though." I tell him before I go to whisper. "I really just want to know the truth."

~Jason's POV~

After a little while everyone was settled Vanessa was sitting on the couch next to Matthews talking to Josh. I was in the kitchen grabbing something to eat when a man came in the apartment he looked at Topanga and Melissa telling them not to say anything.

They smiled as Melissa nudged her husband, he looked at the direction she nodded to and smiled once he saw the guy.

I walked up to Riley and Maya asking, "Who's that?"

"You'll see." Riley smiled.

The guy silently closed the door before sitting next to Auggie who was sitting next to Vanessa.

"Gee, Little Star, Cor, I thought you guys be more excited to see me." The guy joked.

Matthews and Wolfy turn to the voice and they were surprised and happy was what I could tell.

"Papa Shawn!" Wolfy exclaimed as she stood up ready to hug him but that didn't happen.

"Yay!" Cory pushed Vanessa back making her fall over and down behind the couch. Matthews ignored what he did and hugged Shawn.

Shawn hugged Cory before he detached from him saying, "You're a dead man, Cor."

"What?" Matthews asked confused before everyone of us pointed to Vanessa who stood up from behind the couch with tossed hair. "Oh-oh."

Vanessa grabbed a pillow and slowly tried to walk up to Matthews but he kept trying to back away.

"Sorry, Little Vee, I got excited." He apologized but that didn't make her stop.

"Too late." She said before she jumped on him slapping him with the pillow.

"Ah!" Cory exclaimed a he was getting slapped with the pillow. "Help!"

Everyone either just kept watching or went back to doing what they were doing.

Once she decided she was finished Vanessa got up from the floor and turned to Shawn, "Papa Shawn!"

Vanessa ran up to him hugging him tight, "My Little Star." He said as he hugged her just as tight.

After a little while they detached as he got a good look at her, "Oh no this isn't good."

"What?" Wolfy asked confused.

"You getting way to big now." He shook his head before turning to Enrique. "Ric, is there a time traveling machine yet?"

"Trust me I'm trying to get it done so we can stop her growing." Enrique joked back making everyone laugh. He got up from his spot to go up to Shawn before fist bumping and hugging him. "Good to see you, Shawn."

"Good to see you too, Ric." Shawn replied back.

"Isn't someone gonna help me?" Matthews asked from the floor.

"No, you deserved it the first time you deserve it now too." Ric told him.

"What did he-" Shawn cut himself off. "Nevermind it's Cory."

"So that's us, huh?" Maya asked Riley and Vanessa as the four of us were watching Shawn greet the Matthews grandparents.

"So I've been told." Riley nodded.

"Trust me you guys are." Vanessa smiled. "But they're more girly."

Joshua stood up asking Shawn, "Hey, Shawn am I cooler than you yet?"

"Oh, not yet, but I'm getting nervous." Shawn joked hugging him.

Topanga and Melissa then walked towards Shawn with smiles on both their faces.

"Hey, Mrs. Cory, Mrs. Ric." Shawn smiled.

"Hey, Mr. Cory." The two moms smiled before they hugged him.

Matthews got up from the floor and moved to the three adults pulling Enrique toward the two women and man.

"You four. How great is this? My favorite people in the world...and my wife and good friend." Matthews smiled as Wolfy, Maya and I chuckled at his statement with Riley smiling.

Topanga turned to us saying, "My whole life." She then turned with Melissa to go join grandma Matthews cook.

"Has every Christmas been like this?" I asked the girls.

"When Shawn is here yes." Riley and Wolfy nodded.

"Riles, you should go greet him maybe he'll talk more to you this year." Wolfy suggested.

"Okay, you may be right." Riley smiled as she dragged Maya to go greet him.

"I'll go introduce you after them." She smiled to me.

"Alright." I nodded. "I got a question though. Are Matthews, Topanga, Shawn and your parents all friends?"

"Yeah they are but since my mom, Cory and Shawn known each other way longer they are sometimes a bit closer, and when my mom and Topanga met they became best friends later on they met Enrique when they were 10 and 11, they were good friends with him but him and Farkle's dad are like brothers." Vanessa explained to me.

"So they are all best friends but have a very close best friend in their social group." I summed up.

"Essentially." She nodded.

Riley and Maya come up to us as we saw that Shawn and Cory went up to the living room bay window.

"How'd it go?" I asked as I saw Maya look more upset than Riley.

"It went better than last year." Riley smiled. "He added in another word."

Vanessa smiled sympathetically to her god-sister, "You want me to talk to him Riley?"

"It's okay god-sissy." Riley smiled. "We're just going to go to the bay window."

"Okay." Vanessa smiled but saw that Maya was still upset. "Make sure Maya doesn't destroy anything though."

Riley nodded before dragging Maya to her room.

"Come on, Jay." Wolfy dragged me to the adult men who were gossiping like girls. "Papa Shawn."

Upon hearing her Shawn turned to us, "What's up, Little Star? Who's this?"

"He's one of my best friends. And he's living with us now." Wolfy explained to Shawn. "His name his Jason Smith."

Shawn turn to me smiling holding out a hand to shake which I took, "Well hello Jason welcome to the honary Matthews family. You're going to love it."

"Thank you, sir." I smiled as Vanessa laughed making the three of us look at her funny.

"I'm sorry but you're making sound like you are grown up, Jay." Wolfy said wiping her eyes.

"I'm older than you are!" I exclaimed.

"Everyone in are group is, Jay." She shrugged. "But who's the most mature one."

I wanted to resort back but she was the most mature person in our group so I couldn't say anything back.

"Exactly." She nodded as I sighed.

"Important life lesson." Cory said as we turned to him. "Never go up against Little Vee you'll lose no matter what."

"And he should know." Vanessa shrugged before grabbing my wrist. "Now we will go off so you two can go through your girl gossip."

"It's not girl gossip!" The two adult men argued.

"Yeah and I'm friends with Oprah." Wolfy shrugged with a smirk before dragging me to the kitchen.

Melissa walked up to her daughter hugging her with a smile, "Ah, you are my daughter."

~Vanessa's POV~

At the moment Jay and I were hanging with Josh and Auggie putting decorations on grandpa who was sleeping.

"Hold this please." Jay asked Auggie giving him an ornament.

"Should we be doing this?" Auggie asked Josh and Jay since I wasn't really doing anything just recording.

Josh and Jay nodded saying, "Absolutely."

"What's the difference between having a younger daddy and an older daddy?" Auggie asked Josh.

"Younger daddy doesn't fall asleep in the middle of the party." Josh shrugged.

"Big bro, look over there." I gestured to where Cory and Shawn were sleeping with Enrique sleeping on top of the two.

As he was sleeping Cory was mumbling, "Yip, yip, yip, yip..."

Suddenly Maya and Riley walked to the three asleep grown men.

"How could you possibly not like Riley?" Maya asked Shawn making the three wake up startled.

"What is she talking about?" Shawn asked Cory and Enrique.

"Whenever you do come here it's like you find an excuse not to talk to me and then you leave." Riley explained.

Enrique stood up from where he was sleeping standing up as Shawn says, "I talk to you. I'm talking to you right now."

"When's my birthday? What's my favorite color?" Riley asked.

"Riley, that stuff doesn't matter." Papa Shawn told her.

"It does matter." Maya argued. "Tell us what you know."

"Girls, Shawn knows Riley's birthday." Cory told them.

"How do you know?" Riley asked.

"Trust us he knows." Enrique told them as Cory nodded agreeing.

Topanga and my mom then called all of us to dinner preventing anything to more to happen.

°°°°°°

Just about five or six minutes later everyone but me finished eating the dinner making my mom and Topanga look at everyone else in shock.

"Five minutes?!" They exclaimed. "That dinner took two days to cook. You animals ate in five minutes!"

"What's for dessert, mom, aunty Lis?" Riley asked them with a smile.

"Nothing" my mom exclaimed.

"We want you to sit there for two days and think about that dinner you just devoured." Topanga replied.

"And then maybe we'll give you a cupcake." My mom told everyone with a sarcastic smile.

"Hey, I still haven't even finished half of it!" I excliamed.

They both turned to me saying, "You get two cupcake."

I smiled, "Yeah!"

"Well I thought it was great, Lissa, Topanga. Thank you, I don't get a lot of home cooked meals." Shawn thanked them.

"How's the job going, Shawn?" Cory asked him.

"Oh, you do something?" Maya asked him.

"Yeah I write for a site called 'Hit the Road'. Go to a lot of different places and tell you if it's worth a weekend." Shawn explains to her.

"I-I go on that site." Maya stuttered not know that.

"Restless little spirit, huh?" Shawn asked her.

Maya shook her head, "No, um Vee actually showed me the site some time ago and I like to think about-"

"Other places?" Shawn asked.

"Sometimes." Maya nodded.

"Yeah..."

"Yeah..." Maya nodded. "You take the pictures too?"

"I do." Shawn nodded. "Little Star told you?"

"No," Maya shook her head. "I draw pictures."

"Yeah?" Papa Shawn asked as Josh, Jay and I watch the scene in front of us.

"Yeah."

"I'm gonna say 'yeah' one last time, okay?" Shawn asked.

"Very mature." I added in as Maya pointed to me agreeing.

"Yeah..."

"Yeah..." Maya mouthed making the boys and me chuckle.

"Okay that's it. When's my birthday, Uncle Shawn?" Riley asked wanting to know.

"He knows Riley." Enrique told her as Cory nodded.

"You two keep saying that. Why won't he answer? What did I do?" Riley asked.

Before standing up Shawn threw his napkin on the table then walked to the door opening it but he then turned to Riley and Maya asking, "You coming or what?"

I looked at them before saying, "If you want your answers you two should go."

They nodded before they get up to follow Papa Shawn out the door.

°°°°°°
After we all finished cleaning the table Riley texted me she had a plan so when she came in the living room I know what was going to happen.

"Get in there!" Riley ordered Papa Shawn.

"Uh, Riley you do not command a grown man." Cory chuckled.

"Maybe she doesn't but I do." I told him before I pointed to the entrance that leads to the bedrooms. "Both of you go to her room."

The two grown man followed my order before they stopped at the entrance.

"This would never happen on 'The Cory and Shawn Show'." Cory told his best friend which received him a nod of agreement.

They both then continued to walk to Riley's room as Riley followed after them.

After about six minutes Riley called me over telling me to go into the room.

I went inside Riley's room and when I did I saw Farkle.

"Farkle, what are you doing here?" I asked confused.

"I came here to give you a gift my queen." Farkle smiled walking over to me.

"Wait, what?" Papa Shawn asked confused ready to fire questions but Cory kept him from doing so.

Once Farkle got to me he grabbed something from his pocket, "Please close your eyes?"

"Farkle it better not cost a lot of money." I closed my eyes. "You shouldn't waste any money on me."

"You deserve more than anything, Nessa." He tells me making me hope no one sees my blush.

After a couple of second I felt a something cool around my neck. I opened my eyes and look down to see Farkle got the necklace I've been having my eyes on for a long time.

"Farkle you shouldn't have." I tell him with a smile.

"I shouldn't have but I wanted to." He shrugged.

"Well thank you it's really beautiful." I smiled.

"A beautiful necklace for a beautiful person." Farkle said with a smile.

I smiled at him before I go up to him and kiss him on the cheek which made him freeze up a bit.

"I'm going fall, sir." Farkle announced before he started falling but luckily Cory caught him.

"There we go." Cory said lifting him up.

"I'll be sure to give you your gift tomorrow, Farkle." I smiled at him.

"A Minkus?!" Shawn exclaimed confused.

"Yeah." I nodded confused. "Anyways I'll see you guys later. Riley wanted me to make sure everything is okay."

I started walking to the door but stopped once I was where Farkle was standing.

"Thank you once more." I kissed his cheek before I exit the room but once I did I heard Farkle say, "I'm going down again, sir."

"A Minkus?!"

°°°°°°

We were all finished opening our christmas presents and we all got good ones.

I could tell that Jay loved his because everytime he opened them his face had lit up.

"Good husband, good father, good brother, good uncle...good son." We heard grandpa tell Cory as we looked up at them. "Good for you."

"Thanks dad. I had you at your best." Cory smiled at his father.

Josh put an arm around his father saying, "No I had him at his best. Surprise."

The Matthews men shared a hug before my mom had said, "Well this is so warming but I think we have a special thank you for Shawn." She lifted Enrique to stand up next to her.

"You do?" Shawn asked confused.

"We do?" Enrique asked confused as well.

"We do!" She exclaimed before grabbing Shawn by the wrist taking them both to the door. "And we want to do it out here in the hallway."

She then push both men to the hallway before turning to us saying, "Don't mind us."

My mom tried to close the door but I guess she didn't see that there was still a crack.

"What's that about?" Maya asked as Jay, Riley and Josh looked at me in confusion.

"You tell me." I shrugged.

~Melissa's POV~

"We have to tell her." I tell Ric and Shawn.

"Okay." Shawn nodded. "But first-"

"We're telling what to who?" Ric continued.

I look at them saying, "We tell Emma Watson I'm her sister- What do you to think?! We should tell Vanessa the truth!"

"We can't!" They exclaimed.

"Why not?!" I asked. "If we hide the truth anymore she will hate us."

"Melissa it's not that easy." Ric told me.

"What do you think we should tell. That I'm here birth father, I'm the one who left and Ric's here!" Shawn exclaimed but he looked mad at himself.

"She still has the right to know she's turning thirteen soon, she's old enough to know the truth!" I exclaimed.

"You really think she'll understand the truth Melissa?" Ric asked me shocked.

"Yes!" I exclaimed throwing my hands up.

"It's not that easy!" They told me. "What do you think we'll even tell her?!"

"Maybe you should tell her the truth." Vanessa suggested leaning against the door sill.

"See even she agrees." I said before I realized it was Vanessa. "Reina!"

"I mean telling the truth would be the right thing." She said. "Wouldn't it?"

"How much did you hear?" Ric asked as the two men stood next to me.

"Oh, we heard everything." Vanessa said opening the door more making us see everyone heard everything. We also saw Cory tied to a chair.

"Topanga!" I exclaimed.

"We tried to keep here away from the door but we couldn't." Panga said looking at me with apologized look.

"Sorry." Cory mumbled having a scarf wrapped around his mouth.

"She tied him up in two seconds." Jason said shocked before he focused back at us as was everyone.

"So..." Vanessa started off. "Can I know the full truth now?"

"What are you talking about?" Mama Matthews asked.

"That Shawn is my birth father." Vanessa answered her but was still looking at the three of us as we walked in the room.

"Yes!" Maya and Jason exclaimed. "Pay up."

Riley sighed as she gave each of them the money.

Vanessa turned around to look at them asking them, "You two bet on who my birth father was?"

"Yes." They answered.

"You know us." Maya told her.

"I-" Vanessa shook her head. "Nevermind."

Shawn and Ric tried to get out of the house but that didn't work out.

"Nope." Vanessa ran to the door locking it. "I'm getting the truth today I've been waiting for a long time now."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I heard you two arguing that night." Vanessa shrugged. "After I heard what you were saying a couple of days later I looked my birth certificate and was I shocked to find out who my birth father was."

"You eavesdropped on us?" Ric asked with his hands on his hip.

Vanessa rosed an eyebrow saying, "You have no room to say anything but the truth right now." She looked at us hurt in her eyes. "Don't I deserve to know the truth?"

Shawn, Ric and I looked at each other before sighing.

I was about to speak but Shawn beat me, "No Melissa I should." He walked up towards Vanessa. "You should know the truth and we are sorry we haven't told you the truth before. We were just scared of if you found out the truth you..."

"I'd what?" She asked.

Ric sighed before walking standing next to Shawn, "That you'd hate us and you wouldn't want to be my daughter."

Vanessa backed up shocked and hurt, "You think just cause you weren't my birth father you wouldn't be my dad. And... how can I hate you guys?"

We looked at her speechless not know what to say so she continued, "Well I don't hate you guys and I don't want you to stop being my dad but what I want to know is why you guys didn't tell me this...and why didn't you stay and how did this happen?"

"I didn't stay because of how I saw of how my father was and I didn't want you to end up the same way I did with a the family trouble." Shawn admitted. "I know the baggage we Hunters carry."

"I understand that but I know you'd be different you'd be doing fine even if you and my mom didn't end up together you could have been living near." Vanessa told him as I took noticed everyone was watching us from the couch. "And if there's baggage with being a Hunter then so be it I'd be honored to be both a Hunter and a Santiago."

"What?"

"Just cause I know the truth now it doesn't change a thing." Vanessa told us. "I have the same mom, now I just have two dads instead of one just means more overprotective dads."

"You want me to be officially your father?" Shawn asked shocked.

"I already considered that now it's just official." Vanessa smiled. "I'm the daughter of Melissa and Enrique Santiago and Shawn Hunter and I couldn't be prouder."

We smiled at each other before we go and hug Vanessa tightly.

"Aw!" Everyone awed us and we just smiled at them.

"Although this is wonderful how did this happen?" Vanessa asked us after we all detached from our hug.

Shawn, Ric and I looked at each other with wide eyes before turning to Topanga and Cory for help.

"I have to untie my husband." Topanga laughed nervously. "Your daughter tied these knotts up really hard."

Everyone else looked at us waiting to see what happens and Josh gestured us to continue with a large smile.

We turn to Vanessa who was waiting for an explanation so I started off with, "Well when two people trust each other very very much some times the trust each other enough to take things to a different lev-"

"Not what I mean!" Vanessa exclaimed. "I already know about this talk Uncle Jack and Josh told me about it last year different times."

"Wait what?!" Mom and Dad Matthews exclaimed. "Joshua!"

"Well she's old enough." Josh chuckled nervously.

"Wait, my brother had that talk with you?" Shawn asked shocked.

"Yeah." Vanessa nodded. "He told me once I caught him watching something."

"And now he's a dead man." All three of us conformed.

°°°°°°
~Vanessa's POV~

After the whole family confession we were all talking as I was sitting with my three parents talking to Riley,Maya, Jay and Josh.

"So I think I might stay around a bit longer this time." Shawn announced.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah." Papa smiled putting a hand on my shoulder. "But I do have an assignment next weekend up in Columbia Country, upstate New York City. It's beautiful up there."

"Well we well happy about that Shawn and we'll miss you." Cory told his best friend.

"Well, maybe not cause I was thinking..." Papa turned to Riley and me. "...if you guys might wanna come?"

"All of us?" Auggie asked.

"I wouldn't have it any other way." Papa smiled.

"You know..." Riley started as we both stood up.

"Here it comes." Cory told Topanga, my mom and dad.

"Neither of us would go anywhere without our best friends." She finished as we looked over to Maya and Jay.

"Yeah that's not a bad way to grow up." Panga and my mom smiled.

"So...maybe you would like to invite them?" I asked Papa.

"Oh, you mean them two?" Papa jokingly said pointing to them. "Oh, what do you two say kids? You wanna come?"

"Yeah." Maya and Jay smiled.

"You're invited too." Maya smirked over to Josh.

"Cool." Josh smiled looking down making me smirk knowing he may be blushing a bit.

"Oh boy."
