The next day I slept in and I walked by the court yard and stopped when I heard someone. I hid behind a pillar near the entrance.
"I thought I ordered you to not to tell the princess anything," Someone said but I couldn't see who it was because I had my back against the pillar. I looked up and I saw Kakashi he was sitting on the roof listening too.
"Y -You did s- sir," someone else said.
"Then why are they here?"
"I I I don't know,"
"Well then get rid of them!" he said.
I heard footsteps walking toward me but wasnt moving. Kakashi jumped down in front of me and he stuck his hand on my shoulder and we poofed away.
"Sensai, we need to tell the princess!" I said.
"Tell me what?" the princess said behind me. I jumped and spun around and the princess was standing behind her desk with her arms crossed. It looked like a meeting with everybody again.
Kakashi walked over to the princess and whispered something in her ear. I looked over and I saw Naruto aleep and snoring abet with his head back. I started smiling abet and I saw Hhinata seting next to Ino and Sakura. Hinata was smiling abet to at Naruto and of course Sakura and Ino both were watching Sasuke who was sitting next to Naruto.
Luke was hiding in the corner of the room looking like he wanted to kill someone. He was leaning against the wall looking at the floor. I walked up to him and I leaned against the wall too.
"Hey you know your part of this group to so why are you in the corner?" I said and he looked at every one.
"I’m weak I can't even protect my sister. All I can do is run I don’t belong here it was just a waist of your time training me!" Luke mumbled and I jumped in front of him and I smacked him so hard that he fell to the floor. Everybody looked at us and I bent down and I grabbed his collar of his shirt and pulled him up a few inches.
"Shut up! Don't ever talk like that again. You're not weak, it was my fault that your sister got hurt I was to slow!" I said and his eyes were staring into mine with sadness. I dropped him and I walked back over to everyone and I stood next to Neji and Guy.
The meeting was about shifts about to protect the village and I volunteered for the first shift. Kiba and Akumaru also volunteered and Ino and Sakura started yelling at each other until Kakashi pretended that they were volunteering so they ended up with us. Also Kurenia volunteered to be our leader.
"Ok Kurenia's team you can go now!" Kakashi said and we all ran out of there.
Kurenia was in the lead and I was standing next to her with Kiba right behind me with Akumaru on his head and Sakura and Ino behind him.
When we got to the vilage entrance Kurenia stopped.
"Alright Marissa your in charge I want you guys to patrol the village," she said and the despaired.
I walked into the village and we walked around see if any thing was suspicious. so far there was nothing. We walked down one allay and ont a street. I lokked down on the ground and I saw something that caught my eye. I got on one knee and I noticed it was blood.
Akumaru jumped off Kiba's head and started sniffing it. I touched it and it was dry like it has been there awhile.
"Do youand want to know what happened?" Someone said and walked up to me. I stood up and dusted the dirt off of me.
"What happened was a girl was attacked and probably was killed right there," a boy about my age said. I got to thinking and realized he was talking about me.
"That girl wasn't killed,"I said.
"How do you now?" he said.
"Because that girl is me!" I said and his eyes went wide.
"That was you, so that means your're the reason Luke has been running of and ditching his friends for," he said. I was about to say something but someone called his name and he waved as he ran away. I looked down at the ground and I clenched my fist in anger and walked off.
A few hours went by and everyone wanted to get ice cream. I sat on a bench next time Kiba and Akumaru. Akumaru was siting between me and Kiba chewing on a bone. we sat there alittle while after we were done to wait for Akumaru to finish. While we were waiting Summer came skipping towards us.
"Hey Summer," Sakura said and she looked at Sakura and wavedd with a closed eye smile. Akumaru started to growl alittle bit at her and me and Kiba new something was up. I tried to think of what to say that would trough her of. I decided to mention her parents who are dead.
"Summer, how's your parents doing?" I said.
"Good, why?" she said and that profed that wasn't her.
She was holding basket full of flowers and she droped them and it rolled down the ally out of view.
"Can someone help me get that?" she said and I jumped up before Sakura and I went after it. Summer walked up behind me as I started picking up the flowers. I looked at a puddle next to me and I saw her reflection and that she was about to stab me with the Kuni.
I turned around and I kicked her wrist and she droped the Kuni and I jumped at her and I grabbed her by the throught and we rolled out of the ally onto a street. I was sitting on top of her with my right hand and my sword in my other holding it to her throught. She screamed and people stopped and looked at me and they started yelling at me to get off her.
I looked at them then she pushed me off her and she stood up and looked at me with anger in her eyes. I jumped up in a fighting stance and I looked at her. She did a hand sign and poofed into a mist ninja.
Everybody was either the shreeked or gasped. His chakura seemed familar. He was started smiling as he did a hand sign and he created needles out of his chakura.
"That was you who attacked us!" I said. He just kept giving me an evil smile. I started pulling my sword out a little bit but he threw some needles at me and I let my sword go and I sumersalted backwards and my sword witch was halfway out of the holder fell out.
I grabbed two kuni knifes and I looked at my saroundings. They're was to many people around so I couldn't use my sharingan so I activated my bakugan. I threw a kunia and he desapered right before it hit him. I sensed four more people running behind me and I turned and saw Kiba, Akumaru, Ino and Sakura.
Fog started covering the ground and the mist ninja appeared above me and he threw some needles at me again. I rolled away and I started noticing that he likes to appear behind or up to. When he disappeared again I threw a kuni behind me he exactly appeared behind me and the kuni hit him then he turned into a log.
The fog started to clear and I stared at the log as I pulled out the kuni. I picked all of them up and stuck them back in my holder.
I heard some people around me whispering.
"What just happened mommy?" a little girl said.
"Is that one of the ninja's who saved the princess?" a man said.
"I think so but who was that person she was fighting?" a women.
I looked at the crowd of people and I heard someone squeak. I turned around and I saw a flash of light green hair and then something got thrown at me. I cought hold of a little girl who was trying to hold onto me then I realized who she was.
"Lizzy is that you?" I said and she giggled. Elizabeth is a seven year old girl with light green hair with it up in two pigtails. she had rosey cheeks and always a sparkle in her light green eyes. I call her lizzy for short and her parents were friends with my brother and they call me Lizzy's Aunt because I'm like a family member to them.
"Lizzy what were you thinking..." Osami said but stopped when she saw me. Osami is Lizzy's mother she used to my brothers best friend in the hole intire world they were even on the same team.
"Osami, Lizzy wait for me!" Wilfred came out of the crowd behind Osami. Wilfred is Lizzy's dad and was my brother's other best friend he wasnt as close to him as Osami was but he was on the same team with both of them.
"Looks like Lizzy found Marissa," Osami said and Willfred had a smile with a sad look hiding in his eyes. When ever Wilfred saw me he always had that look. He told me it was because when ever he saw me he thinks about the my clan and my brother Minato the fourth Hokage.
I was holding Lizzy in my arms as she smiled and started falling asleep. I looked at her parents and raised my eyebrow.
"Oh in case you were wondering why we were here is because Lizzy missed you so much and she wanted to come see this place after you told her all about it," Osami said. I nodded and started looked at Lizzy who was poking my cheek.
"Yes?"
"Your eye's look different," she said and I remembered that I had my Bakugan still activated. I was about to deactivate it when Akumaru barked. I looked up and saw a couple of needles coming towards me and Lizzy. I turned to cover Lizzy and was hit in my right arm and hip I stood backup and then my right arm and leg went limp and I couldn’t feel them.
I dropped Lizzy and fell down on my side. Sakura ran to my aid and pulled out the needles. She pulled out a test tube and threw the needles in it and started looking at my arm. My bakugan deactivated by it self. Akumaru was growling and him and Kiba stood next to me and Sakura with a kuni in his hand.
I heard an explosion in the moutains. And I tried to activate my sharigan but it didn't work.
"Damn it! That Bastard blocked my chakura and I can't use my right side!" I yelled.
I heard another explosion that sounded closer. I looked over at Lizzy's family and saw that the stood in a fighting stance and Lizzy was hiding behind Osami. There was another explosion that was rright outside the village. Sakura was using a healing jutsu to heal my right side. I started feeling my leg when the rest of the teams and all four sensai's appeared.
Kakashi was carrying the princess in his arms(bridal style) and Neji ran over to help me stand up. He threw my right arm over his shoulders and he put his left hand on my waist and was holding my right hand with the other.
"What happened?" Neji and I said at the same time.
