Peter did it. He snapped. Tony should have done it, he should have been quicker. But he wasn't and now his pride and joy was dead.
Pete had done it. The end achievement. He had snapped and it was all Tony's fault. Everyone thought he was dead but he was in fact stronger than that and was alive and healthy but in a coma. Tony knew why he had done it, he did it because he loved Tony and couldn't live without him, but at the same time Tony wasn't sure.
Bruce pondered into the hospital solemnly. He stumbled upon the room in which layed Peter's lifeless body. The doctor decided to go in to see the teen one last time. He wondered in, looking at the ground but when Bruce looked up he marvelled at the sight. Peter was breathing "H-How did this h-happen?" He stuttered "he was dead!" The nurse inside shook her head "He may of flat lined once bit he never died, he's just in a coma" she said gingerly and Bruce nodded "When will he wake up?" The doctor felt stupid for asking such questions but he was just so shocked and relieved "Soon" the nurse replied "very soon" Bruce smiled "Then we can suprise Tony!" He cheered.
A few hours later
Bruce didn't leave Peter's room that afternoon, he wanted to be there for when the teen woke up. He had been down there for about 5 hours. Waiting. Just waiting for Peter to wake up.
After few minutes later, the boy started tossing and turning. Bruce darted to his side "c'mon Pete! C'mon!" He pleaded. Then Peter blinked. And blinked. And then his eyes fluttered open.
Peter's eyes darted from side to side until they landed on Bruce "Uncle Bruce?" He whispered "Uncle Bruce is that you?" The doctor smiled "Yeah, it's me Pete. How are you feeling?"
"Better" Peter replied "much better" Bruce nodded "Great, now drink some water. Its just there, I can get it for you if you want?" The teen smiled "Please" Bruce Picked up the glass and handed to the brunette "Thanks" The doctor looked at him and shed a tear "I'm just glad you're back. We all thought you were dead y'know"
"Well I'm glad to be back, it hurt like hell" Peter laughed, in hope of lightening the mood. Bruce joined in, feeling warm for the first time in two months or maybe more. "I'll go get the others" He made a move for the door "WAIT!" Peter exclaimed "I want to suprise them!" Bruce nodded "I understand. So who first?" The spider-teen smirked "Definitely my Dad!" His uncle laughed and came back towards the young teen.
"Can you walk?" He asked hesitantly wrapping an arm around Peter's shoulders. Peter nodded "Let me try" he slipped off the bed and put his feet on the ground. He tried to stand up and succeeded but when he tried to walk he came tumbling back down onto the bed. "I'll help" Bruce commented. Peter clinged onto the older male, afraid of letting go and falling.
They made there way up to the lab, not bumping into anyone on their way. Bruce put in the passcode and strode in "Hey Tony" he said happily "Hi Bruce" Tony replied in a monotone voice "I brought you a visitor" the doctor continued and Tony grunted "I don't want to talk to anyone Bruce"
"Aww, I guess I'll go then. Bye Dad!" Peter chimed in. Tony spun 'round faster than a cheater "Peter?" He whispered and the spider-teen nodded "Hi" his father sprinted towards him, tears if happiness streaming down his cheeks "Oh my God, you're actually alive" Tony sobbed "It's okay" Peter rubbed his back "I'm okay"
"I love you 3000 kiddo"
"I love you 3000 too Dad"
