Abigail: but for 2 weeks?!
Austin: Hun it'll fly by
Abigail: for you maybe
Austin: I offered for you to come with me but you said no cause "you have to work"
Abigail: I can't just put my job on hold to jump on a plane with you and travel around America for 2 weeks
Austin: You can, you can just have your holiday early this year
Abigail: I'm taking that holiday to see my family in New York in the second week of February
Austin: You don't need to go then, you can go in June when Katherine in expecting the baby
Abigail: Thanks babe that you didn't notice that week was my birthday week. Cause you don't really care
I stormed out of Austin's house and went back home. Bet your wondering what happened? Well Austin just told me that he got radio gigs at quite a few radio stations across America but he said he'd be away for 2 weeks. He asked me to come with him but i had to work to save up for a holiday to New York on my birthday to spent it with my dad, like we always do. You can tell we both argued about this. I just need some time to cool down and i'll go back later and apologize to him.
Pamela: Abi, is that you?
Abigail: No mom, it's a murderer come to stay the night
Lately i've become more sarcastic than i ever was. Since i've been living in San Antonio i've changed, i've changed a lot. Sometimes i wonder if it's for the best or for the worst, sometimes i can't decide.
Pamela: Ever funny, but could you come in here please?
I followed her voice and ended up in the study. I found her sitting on the couch there with her laptop on her lap and a bunch of worksheets surrounding her.
Abigail: Yeah what's up?
Pamela: Well i was thinking about your birthday next month
Abigail: We've already had this conversation mom
Pamela: I know, but i have a suggestion
Abigail: Which is?
Pamela: I come with you to New York
Abigail: You want to come with me? To New York?
Pamela: Yep
Abigail: To celebrate my birthday with me? and dad and Katherine?
Pamela: Yes
Abigail: With your ex husband and his new pregnant wife?
Pamela: Abigail, stop it
Abigail: I'm sorry, but this is well... it's unexpected mom
For the past wee while mom been asking a lot about dad, i have no idea why though, it's strange. Jeremy hasn't been around though, we went away to see his son, the son i never knew he had. Mom was surprised by it too, i wouldn't blame her either.
I went back up to my room and thought about what happened with Austin, i've happy for him, he's finally getting something with his career and i'm so proud of him too. I pulled out my phone that was in my back pocket of my jeans. I went to my contacts and went to Austin's profile. I clicked on 'New Message',
"AbigailLucas: hun, i'm sorry, i didn't mean how i acted before. I'm happy for you, i'm proud
of you too. I'm sorry Austin<3 I hope you can forgive me..."
I was hesitating whether to sent the message or not. I ended up clearing the message and putting my phone back in my pocket. It would be better if i said that in person than over the phone. I grabbed my hoodie that we hanging over my chair as it was getting chilly outside as it was around 8 at night on a Wednesday night. I told my mom where i was going and walked back over to Austin's.
I knocked on his front door and i was hoping to see Austin so i could hug him and say i'm sorry but Michele answered the door instead.
Michele: Hello sweetie, come over to see Austin?
Abigail: Yeah, i wanted to tell him i'm sorry for how i acted about his news. Did he tell you?
Michele: Yeah, he said you were upset that we was leaving for 2 weeks
Abigail: Yeah, and argued with him
Michele: I hope you too can get past this but Austin isn't here, after you left, he said he wanted to clear his head so he went for a walk
Abigail: Do you know where he went?
Michele: no, i'm sorry sweetie, i wish i knew, i'll call him for you if you want?
Abigail: no, it's okay, i'll do it and go out looking for him. Thanks though Michele
Michele: No problem sweetie
I gave a quick hug to her and went back home. I hadn't taken Snoopy out for his walk for today so i thought right now was a perfect time. I got Snoopy on his lead and told my mum what i was doing and left to go find Austin.
I unlocked my phone and dialed Austin's number, hoping he'll pick up.
Austin: Hi..
Abigail: Hey hun... where are you?
Austin: Why do you want to know, want to get upset about that too?
Abigail: Austin, i wanted to tell you that i was sorry for how i reacted early and i wanted to do it in person rather than doing it over text messages, but if your going to act like a kid about this i wont
Austin: .....I'm at the park
Abigail: .... I'll be there soon
I ended the call and put my phone in my hoodie pocket. If he acted more like the way he acted on the phone call i'm seriously not going to apologize. We'll have to see what happens at the park...
