"Alex!" Luna beamed as she opened the door. "I didn't realise you were coming over." He scooped her up in his arms and kissed her heavily.
"Pack a bag." He mumbled against her lips. She pulled away and looked at him with a confused expression. His arms left her body and shut the door. She looked him up and down, licking her lips at the sight of him. He was wearing blue jeans and a white t shirt with the sleeves pushed up slightly so his muscly arms were on show.
"Why?" She asked. He leant against the door and grinned at her. "Alex." She laughed nervously as he just stared at her.
"I'm taking you away for the weekend." He explained. Luna couldn't help herself, she broke into a wide grin.
"No you're not." She blushed at the way he was smiling at her and looked away. He walked up to her and pressed her against the kitchen counter.
"Pack a bag, Luna. We're going away for the weekend" he smiled down at her. She stared up at him with adoration. He kissed her cheek and then whispered in her ear. "It's going to be just you and me." He added.
"Okay." She grinned, kissing him for what was supposed to be a second but once he kissed back she couldn't stop. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him as close as she could. His tongue slipped into her mouth and his hand up her shirt.
"Jesus Christ." A voice pulled them apart. Their mouths parted but their bodies didn't. Alex buried his head in Luna's shoulder as Jen entered the flat. "I thought you two were going away?" She asked. Alex's head popped back up.
"I was late telling her. She needs to pack her bag still." He said to Jen. Luna looked between the two.
"You know about this?" She questioned. Alex moved away from her, putting his hands either sides of her body against the counter.
"Did you expect Jen to come home and be okay with you not being there?" He asked with a smile. Luna smiled back and held his face her her hand, squeezing it slightly. "Go pack a bag." He said in a low voice. Luna nodded and ran into her room to pack up.
Jen entered the kitchen space and started putting away the food that she had brought home. Alex leaned against the counter and ran a hand through his hair while he waited.
"Don't get her pregnant." Jen said suddenly. Alex's head snapped up. "Right now you're in this happy little bubble where you're all in love and that's lovely but that's all gonna go if you get her pregnant." She said seriously, pointing a finger at him. Alex stared at her.
"I won't." Was all he could think to say. "She's on the pill." He added as if it were necessary.
"Yes well a weekend alone just you two, god knows what will happen." She rubbed her forehead. "She loves you so I love you so have fun and thanks for giving me the flat for the weekend." She tapped his shoulder as she walked past with a Coke can.
"Love you too." He laughed as Luna walked out of her room with a duffel bag.
"I'm gone for five minutes!" She yelled with a grin on her face. Alex walked over and kissed her quickly.
"Platonic, babe." He said between kisses. She turned her face to Jen, who was rolling her eyes.
"Just go!" She yelled. The couple laughed at her and waved as they left.
Luna had never seen Alex drive while they had been together. It was wildly attractive the way he rested one elbow on the window as he gripped the steering wheel, looking as if he could drive with his eyes closed. His other hand either changed gear or rested on her leg, squeezing it as if to make sure she was still there.
"You are very attractive when you drive" She blurted. Alex couldn't help but laugh.
"Believe it or not, you're not the first person to say that to me" He meant it in a nonchalant comment way but Luna's heart stung at the idea of another girl being sat where she was and telling him that. She sat quietly, trying not to make a passive aggressive comment but the fact that she didn't showed Alex that she was affected by the comment. "Miles tells me every day" He added. She met his eyes and smiled slightly. "Don't tell him but you saying that made me blush so much more than anyone else who's said it."
"Stop digging, Alex" She shook her head with a smile wiped across her face.
After driving with loud music playing and Alex singing at the top of his lungs for two hours straight, they pulled up to a nice hotel. Luna looked out of the window like a small child, she had never seen a hotel like it.
"Alex, I don't deserve this." She gasped as he opened the door for her. He put his hand around her waist and kissed her head as men in uniforms took their bags.
"You deserve everything, Lu." He said against her skin. She wrapped an arm around his waist and hugged him tightly.
They were led by a nice woman up to their room. She showed them all the facilities they had before Alex cut her off by giving her some money and telling her she was doing an amazing job. Of course, she gave him a giddy smile and left the couple alone.
Alex sat on the sofa by the window and watched Luna look around. How had he been dating her for so long and never taken her to a five star hotel. He lived in one for gods sake.
"Do you wanna know what I was thinking about today?" Luna asked as she put on the hotel dressing gown. Alex pulled her by the knot and she landed on his lap.
"Always." He ran a hand through her hair and rubbed her leg under the dressing gown.
"Well I was at lunch with Jasmine, and I was sat across from her and I started thinking that I've been on so many dates with so many people and then I was thinking that so have you and then I started thinking what you're like on a date with someone else." She rushed. Alex's eyes widened and he laughed slightly.
"Jasmine must have been really boring if you're thinking that deeply while you're with her" he laughed. She chuckled and rested her head on the end of the sofa.
"I want to go on a date with 2014 you." She said. He raised his eyebrows.
"You hated 2014 me." He pointed out. She shrugged and giggled as his hand travelled further up her leg.
"But I reckon he would've been really smooth on a date. Gelled hair, leather jacket, fifties vibe." She explained. He raised his eyebrows. "I know he was good in bed." She ran a finger from behind his ear down his neck. He breathed in.
"Does the leather jacket turn you on, Lu?" He questioned. She rolled her eyes and pushed his face away from her.
"You're getting off topic" she pointed out. He laughed and his hand moved up and round to her bum. "I like you now though. You're a lot more fun and a lot like you were when you were sixteen." She pushed a hair from his face and smiled.
"When I was sixteen? I look nothing like I did back then." He seemed almost offended. She moved her body slightly so her skin moved in his hand.
"Not looks. Obviously you're much better looking now." She smirked. "But your sense of humour is back and don't take yourself too seriously 'Alex fucking Turner'" she quoted him. He started laughing at the memory and leant down to kiss her.
"Let's not talk about how much of a dickhead I was." He kissed her softly on her lips and then her cheek and eyes. It was like he was pampering her with his lips. "It's weird being so turned on and not getting interrupted by something." He smirked, squeezing her inner thigh.
"Are you thinking about your leather jacket?" She teased. A smile tugged at his lips but he was too focused on her now. He leant down and kissed her roughly, pushing her down and hovering over her.
She let out a sigh as his lips moved slowly against hers. Usually their kisses were rough and hungry but it appeared that Alex wanted to take his time with her just because he could so Luna just relaxed and let him do what he wanted.
They ended up in the bed, their limbs tangled among one another. Alex wrapped his arm around her and pulled her to his chest as they caught their breaths.
"Hmm, I could sleep for a year." Luna sighed, rubbing her foot along the insides of Alex's leg.
"Can we have a quick chat and then I promise you can sleep" he said unexpectedly. She raised her head and licked her lips as he pushed her hair out of the way so he could see her face.
"Ok." She crawled on top of him and crossed her arms on his chest, balancing her head on her crossed hands. Alex looked away for a moment, she rose and fell as he breathed.
"So, you know how your year here is coming to an end?" He started. She nodded. "I was just wondering what your plans are for after? I know we've spoke about suggestions but it's approaching now and I just wanted to know your thoughts." He requested. Luna thought about it.
"Well, I always assumed that I would go back to Sheffield at first, check on the bakery and maybe stay there for a bit before maybe moving to London and opening a new bakery there." She explained with uncertainty. He nodded.
"Do you still have your house in Sheffield?" He wondered. She thought about it and then realised that Adam lived there now, it was his house.
"Oh, no. I guess I'd just live with my parents and hope I can find somewhere in London soon after." She answered. He ran his tongue along his lip and stared into her eyes.
"What if..." he looked away and took in a deep breath. "What if you just lived with me when you're in London." He said quickly and in one breath. Luna's eyes widened, she pushed herself off his chest and sat back. He sat up, keeping them close.
"Are you sure you want that?" she asked. He tried to suppress his smile at the idea of the two of them living together.
"I mean, yeah. We basically live together now so it wouldn't be much different, just more alone time." He shrugged, taking her hands in his and rubbing her skin with his thumbs. She watched the action closely, her mind running.
"You wouldn't mind me moving into your flat?" She asked. He smirked slightly.
"House." He corrected, her eyes widened.
"Oh." Was all she could say.
"It's okay if you're not ready. I just thought that it would be easier for you while looking for a bakery to have somewhere to stay rather than spending more time looking for a place to live." He explained his reasoning and it made perfect sense to Luna. She couldn't help but overthink it all. "It's okay, Lu." He squeezed her hand.
"No, no. I want to." She said suddenly. Alex broke into a wide grin, he could stop himself. "I'm just thinking logistically." She continued. Alex nodded.
"Okay. I think I'm going to have to stay here a bit longer than you." He put his hands together, clasping hers within them. "So, you go back to Sheffield and then when I am done here I'll go to London and you can meet me there" he suggested. Luna thought about it for a minute and smiled.
"Okay roomie." She wiggled her hips against his, causing a sigh to leave his lips. His hands roamed her bare body and grabbed where it could.
"Roomie." He smirked. Luna cocked her head to the side, letting her hair fall to her right to expose her left collarbone. Her lips fell to his neck and started to suck on his skin, working him up again for round two.
Luna woke up the next morning spread out diagonally half way down the bed. Her body was tangled in the sheet so she was in a tightly compact cocoon. She stretched out her aching muscles but soon realised she was alone in the king sized bed.
"Alex?" She asked absentmindedly out into the room. Her eyes opened slightly and she almost gasped at the sight of the room.
The sun was blaring through the open windows, the curtains were blowing in the wind, it was a surreal moment. She ran her hands through her hair and sprawled our with her arms above her head.
Through the walls she could hear a door slam and the bedroom door open. Her eyes closed, waiting for Alex to wake her up but all she felt was someone kiss her lips gently. Her eyes opened to see him hovering over her.
"Morning." He grinned. She reached up and pulled him down so he kissed her again. "Breakfast is served." He winked. Luna's heart fluttered as she pulled herself up.
Alex stood back and watched her untangle herself from the sheets. She knew he was watching so she tried to do it as attractively as possible but it was difficult as she was knotted in there. Eventually, she crawled out of the bed, meeting Alex's eyes and pulling on her dressing gown.
"Mmm." He hummed deliciously as she kissed him good morning. "I could really get used to this."
